The first year I was with Cable One, my service was flawless. I had to call them maybe twice over small interruptions of service. However, for the last month, Ive had nothing but problems. First, the service went out (while we were streaming a movie) and it took hours to get it back up and running, but when it did, WiFi didnt work. I spent several hours on the phone with customer service, and they decided I needed a new modem. I drove into town and exchanged modems, came back installed the modem, and nothing worked. Three more phone calls and over an hour on the phone with customer service, and it finally started working again. Then a week or so later, there was a power outage, and when the power came back on, the modem did not come back on line. I spent about an hour on the phone, got everything working again. Then a week after that, the internet goes out again. This time I get service rep named Kathy (or Cathy) and she stays on the phone with me, and tells me what she was doing, what she was seeing on her end, what notes she was making on my account. I was SO PLEASED that I asked to talk to a supervisor and complimented her. Since then Ive lost internet 3 more times. Each time Ive gotten worse customer service reps. A guy named John who sounded so bored I thought he was a machine at first, as well as an actual machine (during regular business hours!) none of them seem to know why I keep losing my service. Yesterday, I lost internet again. I called AGAIN. This time the rep didnt even try anything to get the service up and running. He just told me he was going to send a rep out to my house to look at stuff. He tells me "its an all day appointment" and that "moving furniture isnt part of the the cable companys responsibilities, so have all furniture moved before he gets there" Im a single mother with a teenage daughter. My desk, is right where the movers placed it, its antique, and its heavy. I certainly hope thats not a problem for the cable guy. As I post this, my internet is up and working, after literally HOURS of not working yesterday. Im still having the guy come out and look, because Im tired of the constant service interruptions. When the service works, its great. Its a hell of a lot faster than Frontier, and so I want to stay with Cable One, but I am BEYOND fed up at this point. I will be calling and demanding a credit for the days Ive had no service, and I may even attempt to charge for my time today. An all day appointment (between 8am and 7pm) is ridiculous. I make $10/hr at work, I think thats what Ill bill them for.

We started our service off about a year or so ago with cable one. It was $35 for the first 3 months and $55 after that......NO we are paying almost $100 for just our home and mind we also have a business with internet threw them that runs about 6 computers and a laptop plus phones and the bill there is less!!! !! I do not know how or why considering we are only home in the evenings to even use it. It is never explained to me how a basic package is double what was agreed upon! Our home computer wont even connect to the modem and its no more then 6 ft away. I have called numerous times and have no help every time they tell us its the computer but its brand new and we never had an issue before. I ask about the $100 charge and they say that is the rate with no other options???. I am going to have to cancel both of our service plans with them as much as i do not want to, i cant afford $100 for a little home internet thats not what i signed up for.

The Internet is advertised to be SO FAST, when my family and I are on our iPads all to gather the Internet almost slows to the old dial up connection speed. The cost is OUT OF THIS WORLD HIGH for 3rd rate service. When I call in to talk to a representative about this problem, I get, well sir, you are paying for our fastest speed of Internet available, and that it must be a problem with my PC and my devices. I have the top of the line devices and PC available on the market. I wouldnt even give it the 1 star that I was required to pick to leave this review. We are STUCK! Either frontier or cable one up here on the mountain. Both which the services are horrible. Bottom line, when I leave this mountain and go to any of the big cities that have competition, I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH INTERNET SPEED. DO YOU KNOW WHY.? Because I am not using cable one in the city, in the city we GET CHOICES OF QUALITY SERVICE PROVIDERS that fight for our business.

Cable One is horrible, they dont care about anything but collecting your bill you owe. Within the 3 years we had, we had to change out our box at least every 6 months with a new one taking time out of my day to take to their office to get it replaced. Which caused are data to go out of control for months, which of course putting the blame on me when before the box was change was below the allowed amount of data they give you. We need more internet suppliers in the area too choose from. Cable One has no respect for their customers because you only have a few to choose from, and frontier is not much better sense they failed in keeping there systems up to federal standards.

We signed up on the internet and they asked us what dates were best for us for them to install. We were informed that we would get a conformation email, instead we received an automated phone call that it would be 2 weeks longer then what we requested....We went to the Cable ONE office and they rescheduled it for the day we had requested on the internet.. but they gave us a whole day wait time, we asked if the installer could call first and they said NO. But the nice nstaller did call and was here at 9:15 and out in 20 minutes. He made our day!

I am upset with Show Low Cable one. I was unaware that I was going to be charged $90 for internet installation". The representative that came was having a bad day due to previous jobs, and I tried to be as helpful as I could. When he was finished with the modem he told me to sign his screen saying to confirm that he did the job- I was happy to finally have internet and send him on his way and did not question it. I just received a bill for over $200. I wish they would say on their website that they charge for installation or give you a warning.

Got cable one and it was great then they just kept saying we went over all the time. I think the funniest one is that we moved and they said we went over and we werent even there. So the head office took 132 out if my account. Ive been trying to cancel the internet for awhile now. Every time I call they say to bring it in. Sorry i cant i live 4 hours away now. Can you send me a box so i can send it back yes we can. Now they say they dont do that. Well i will never use cable one again. No customer service at all and all they do is rip you off.
