DONT GO HERE. I took my 2003 Dodge 2500 Ram in at 100,000 miles. I figured it was time for rear brakes, and the front end needed to be checked out, as it was riding rough and Id just had the tires rotated and balanced. They charged me one hour labor to check it out, $109.96. They came back recommending upper and lower ball joint replacement on both sides, and sway bar connector replacement, for $1500. They also wanted to replace the rear rotors and brakes and parking brake for another $700. The rear rotors had never been turned, but they said they had to be replaced......dont buy that. The sway bar connections absolutely needed replaced. The upper and lower ball joints on both$sides.......possibly, lets say yes they were worn out. So i paid $740.42 in parts $738.71 in labor, and around $80 in fees and taxes.....that sucks, but oh well. I got about 6 Miles when a constant rasping started.....fairly loud, definitely not something I wanted to deal with. I called them, took it back in, and the tech explained it was a bent dust shield rubbing on the rotor. He bent it out of the way, showed me the shield, and said it shouldnt do it again. The manager didnt seem to care about much at all about.....anything. He just stated that they had driven it and it left fine, so it should be fine. Cost: Expensive for sure, there are cheaper comparable shops around. Quality: When I pay a lot for a straightforward mechanical fix, I dont expect surprises. Bottom Line: Ill never go there again, and dont think you should either.

Took my brand new less than 250 mile 2014 jeep in for an alignment after lift. They suggested ripping out the ball joints on my brand new jeep and replacing them. I refused. Later took my jeep to Desert Rat off road center to have aligned only to find out it did NOT need the brand new ball joint replaced. They aligned my jeep perfectly to factory specs easily with lift. If you want to be ripped off go to Napa. If you want your lifted truck done properly go to Desert Rat in Tempe they obviously know their stuff a LOT better than the Napa technicians!! 2014 jeep now has 21k miles on 37 inch tires . EVEN WEAR ACROSS ALL TIRES !! Due to taking my jeep to DESERT RAT. They are awesome!! Update response to owners response: yes you did recommend removing a brand new balljoint with less than 200 miles on a brand new Jeep Wrangler. They didnt even both to check other components that desert rat found not aligned properly. Once aligned properly by desert rat mysteriously my new ball joint fell within spec. If you want to be scammed ( usually its a technical scam that an average person knows nothing about unless they are a mechanic themselves) no ball joint replaced and now my jeep has over 45k miles on 37 inch tires and once again aligned by desert rat.! Tires still have even wear with ORIGINAL ball joints. !!!

My experience with Elite or “Napa Autocare” as it’s known now has been a poor one. If you need your oil changed it’s a fine place to go. Just don’t spend the money on any diagnostic service with them. I found the ASE certified technician’s “diagnostic work” unacceptable. I paid for a diagnostic but what I received was mistake after mistake and an attempt to charge me again for the ridiculous guess work of the technician. If you’re going to replace a fuse that keeps blowing doesn’t it stand to reason that there is an issue other than just a blown fuse? Are you really charging me an hour to find and replace a blown fuse and then attempt to charge me additional time to actually look for the problem? Does it not stand to reason that he should have been able to tell me "something" about the circuit the fuse was associated with and show me he spent my money on a reasonable attempt to find “why” the fuse opened in the first place? Can the technician really be that inept? Apparently he can. I’m not too sweet on the service manager either. The guy needs to grow a personality. Do your self and your wallet a favor and find some place dependable and reputable for your repair needs. I don’t mind spending a little extra for someone who actually knows who to fix a car and take care of a customer.

I recently had my Escalade serviced here. It needed numerous repairs, and after receiving several very high repair estimates from other shops I came to this location. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Bruce was extremely helpful in talking me through every step of the repair, and in the process also helped me save several thousand dollars. He was extremely thorough in explaining to me what was happening with my car, and what parts were necessary for repair now, and what parts I could hold off on for a while based on my financial situation. He even showed me the old parts that were replaced, where exactly the malfunction was with the old parts, and what the new parts looked like installed on my car. I would recommend this place to anyone no matter what the make and model of car. Long story short, Bruce and his staff were extremely helpful, saved me a ton of money, and made a situation that I was absolutely dreading much easier to deal with. I love my car, and want to drive it for as long as I can, and I can say without a doubt that after leaving the shop my car has ran smoother than it ever has in the 7+ years I have been driving it. Thanks Bruce! Youre the man.

I have taken several of the family cars here for the past several years - and without exception the experiences have been outstanding. Never have I seen a repair shop that to such an extent will place the best interest of the customer first and foremost. As a result, they have earned my complete trust - great service, solid integrity, convenient hours, shuttle and loaner available - and most importantly; the very best advice on what is needed and what is not. Recently, Bruce at Elite went way above and beyond when I brought in a car just off warranty for a second opinion. The dealership had quoted $1500 for needed repair. Bruce took the car back to the dealership, had them take a second look, and found that the initial diagnosis was wrong, and fixe could be done at no charge. Lots of time and effort invested by Elite on my behalf for which they did not charge anything - only the gratification of having saved me $1500. Five stars for Bruce and Elite - they have earned it, time and time again!

92 honda has ac problem, where everything works until the cabin temp get over about 80° then ac blows hot. I have them do a diagnostic. So the tech goes back plays with my car comes back and says "its your control unit, but since I cant necessarily get the ac to run I cant say if anything else is broken." He also stated in his memoir of diagnosing that he "banged" on the dash, which momentarily got the pump to work. Here is the icing, they quoted me a price for the control unit part of $230. I looked the part up online and saw it for $117. Even with shipping I was still gonna be over charged by $100. Consider this experience, I think its enough info to help anyone decide not to go here to get their ac repaired.
