This place has ruined 3 articles of my clothing, on 2 separate occasions. The first time they shrunk (to a size I ould not wear) something because it was not dry cleaned as I asked, it was washed. That was a couple of years ago. Just recently I needed something nearby and thought Id give it another try. I made it very clear to the 2 people working at the counter that neither articles were to be washed. I specified more than once, and asked that they make a note of it. They told me that they do not wash clothing, dry clean only. When I came to pick up the clothing, both my sweater and dress had shrunken to a laughable size. They looked like childrens clothing. They told me to call the main office, which I did. The manager (or owner, im not sure) was less than friendly to me, and accused me of exaggerating my claim of how much my clothes could have shrunk. He said he would not reimburse me, but I could bring them back in and have them stretched. I had no choice but to do that. They stretched my things to a wearable size, but the dress was ruined in the process (too thin, neckline and sleeves too big now, and it looks very worn), and the sweater was of a lesser quality as well. An expensive sweater, I might add. Also, the supervisor that I spoke with told me that they always wash and dry the clothes regularly if the tag does not specify otherwise, (apparently) regardless of what service you are requesting. His lack of concern and rude demeanor did not make up for a mistake, and also, I was not even offered a refund and had to pay them to ruin my clothes, to top it off.

I have used Capitol Cleaners for a few months now...found better quality then the others in the community. However, they lost my comfortor and I have been waiting for a returned call for over two weeks now. I do not expect to get one...so I will start looking for another cleaners...willing to continue with them if they would admitt to the error. jd

I was using the location in Sherwood, and they were great. i just went to the little rock location and i will never go back, the bald guy was rude, and he did not get up when i entered the door, it took a good 15 seconds for him to recognize i was there. I WILL NOT GO BACK. I am currently looking for a new cleaners.
