Chronic connectivity issues.. expect to call several times (a dozen or so). They will tell you to buy new routers, modems and finally, get a tech to your house for a new drop line. Ask around, Atascadero has chronic issues when it comes to cable internet. They need to start repairing and maintaining the system, not keep telling us to turn our modems on and off.. I had a tech here, and he said the wires on the pole are ancient and full of Ts for everyone on the street... If you need more than an hour of uninterrupted service (for games, or streaming), think hard before choosing charter.

I hear a lot of people complain about Charters customer service but I must say they are always friendly and prompt. There is hardly ever more than a 3 to 5 min wait. Even when upgrading a modem they are eager to help. After dealing with Att and direct TV for years I would recommend Charter of them any day. In four years of Charter Internet I have had maybe 4 outages and they are always short lived. If your thinking of making the switch fro att you will be so pleased.

My father got stung twice by Charter. Charter says they can deliver the world for less money, but they seem to make money by charging people for stuff and they never deliver. They were never able to even get the phone working, let alone the internet. This happened twice! My father (who is 86 and wears a life-alert) was without a phone for several weeks! Has anyone ever had a good experience with these folks!

Its Sunday. The picture is not working at all. Sound isnt right either. Some of us love football and look forward to Sundays. The wait time over 10 minutes and I suspect no one can do anything. Theyre "working hard" to fix it. How about for all the money they charge not having it screwed up in the first place?

On demand never seems to work, I spend most my time on phone with them on a Saturday night instead. They tell me they know they have a streaming problem, three weeks, same problem. Better to start streaming movies, screw Charter!
