Just because you change your name doesnt make you a better company... My cable box resets AT LEAST 10 times a day leaving me with broken recordings of shows, kicked out of on demand movies/shows, unable to use the guide, and just straight up aggravating!!! Now this wouldnt be such a big deal except when I call for help...they remotely turn it off/on and say there is nothing wrong. So I go to my local "charter" branch and get the same run around and to call the customer service if there are any future problems. WELL I AM SICK OF BEING ON HOLD!!! Better than satellite?!? I guess its time to find out.

Only got one star because there are no negatives, worst phone service ever. The phone is crackly, hangs up on you randomly and hasnt worked in at least two days. Spent 30 minutes on phone with "tech" person. Ran me out to garage 3 different times, can you people not service your phone customers-I recommend going with Any other phone service other than charter. They just want your money and could care less when what they deliver is inadequate, thinking g about getting rid of their crappy phones. Will just go with us cellular-at least their phone service works.

I tried to contact them today because of excruciatingly slow internet speed. In the past, theres been a regular phone number and Ive been able to talk to a person. This time the number listed asked if I was a new customer. If not, I had to call a new number, which put me through a menu that decided I didnt exist, therefore I could not talk to a person. I was supposed to state my first and last name. After I did so, I was given a list to pick from. Since my name wasnt on the list, although I am a customer, I had no options to get help.

Great promotional packages, great service. Just dont go in trying to blame them for your bill being high as I saw happen a few times while visiting the store and those people received no help just because they were belittling the people behind the counters. Ive lived in portland seattle and san Francisco and Ive had companies like comcast and other big names. Their internet speed is pretty good i love that you dont gotta have the most premium package just to get channels like epsn. If you cant afford it why have it?

Walked in said my piece and they fixed my account and took the unwanted equipment. The lady was curtious and nice, though find the guy standing next to the sign in tablet odd as it felt like a well dressed bouncer. Other than that its clean inside. Should note its got tiny parking lot with equally tiny maneuvering space. Traffic can make it hard to get in or out. Their sign only says charter and not chapter spectrum or charter communications.

I am a brand new customer. The customer service put the wrong name on my account. I saw it when the cable guy was here, I told him, this is the right address, wrong name. I was told to call customer service. Did so, repeated the wrong info, please change it. Now I have to shut off the account and go into the office to prove who I am?! I am cancelling the service right now. Mickey Mouse customer service, too expensive to deal with this.

I believe this company knows they have a monopoly on the region and therefore, continues to perform poorly without improvement. I have used this company both in Washington and Montana and both times, their service has been deplorable, however, I keep moving to regions where I dont have many choices. Poor customer service, frequent phone calls trying to push product, and horrible wait times is only the beginning.

The phone service and customer service is well below acceptable. When my company phones are down for more a full day and you have to call in on your cell phone to be treated like crap it is time to change. When your completion across the street from you uses a more reliable carrier and has had phone service all day it is time to change. There is no excuse for poor customer service from a company their size.

Been with them for just over a year now and my intro price is no longer valid(all companies are like that so okay) and now I am getting charged $20 more and my internet is working slower and crappier than when I was paying less!!! How much sense does that make?!?! Now looking at other providers for my internet.

As far as I know, no other Internet Service Provider in my area can offer speeds anywhere near as fast as Charter Communications. This essentially gives them a monopoly in my area allowing them to charge whatever they please. If they raise their prices there is pretty much nothing you can do about it.

We use Charter for internet and cable tv. Love the service, the price is what I expect every month. Customer service has always been able to solve my problems, only issue we have had is our DVR acts up sometimes. And we have switched it out, they have always been helpful and easy to work with.
