My two daughters and I were driving through the area and the alternator on my daughters car went out. We stopped and got a price from one place and it was outrageous and they said they would take more than a day! We called Five Star and they quoted us less than the other guy. We nursed the card down to Five Star and even though it was quitting time, the mechanic stayed late and got it done for us. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jay at Five Star Auto Care took great care of our car when it broke down on Highway 80. We were traveling through the area and needed major engine repair in a hurry. He ordered a rental car for our trip to Lake Tahoe and completed the necessary repairs within two days. His staff even drove to the dealership in Roseville to pick up the parts so that our car would be ready when we needed it. Thanks again for your great service! Carolyn and David

I had a very good experience today (03-27-13) at 5 star. The manager Jay was very helpful, he checked my engine light for free!! and gave me some advice on how to self solve the problem and also gave me a best & worse case on the problem and price. And refered me to another shop that fixed my stereo problem for free(bad fuse lol) as well. I was very impressed with his attitude and his willingness to help.

These guys rock!!! They have always gone out of their way to accommodate us in an emergency--even when they are booked to capacity. They know their stuff and I am comfortable that I am always getting the best deal. They are super friendly and always stay in communication to keep us updated. They put their customers first. Friendly, HONEST, and customer service PROS! Even cleaned my car after they fixed it! It was the best experience I had ever had at a repair shop, and the owners Mark and Laura were very attentive to mine and everyone elses needs. Their name says it all, 5 stars all the way!

Only auto repair that is honest enough to tell you that you didnt need anything done and didnt charge to look!! They will check engine light and reset at no charge as well. They will be getting all my work from now on!! You guys rock!!

Really honest and up front about stuff I needed done for my Toyota, and they can always give you a ride home if you need to leave the car there for a while. Never had a shop do that for me before!
