Had my vehicle towed to Precision because it would not start. Diagnostic revealed a dead battery. They charged me over $200 to install a new battery and the diagnostic. As I drove it home, the ignition chime would not turn off (a problem I did not have before). I parked the car in the driveway and the next day, the car would not start again. I never bothered going back because I cannot afford to take time off of work to have my vehicle towed back and forth from my house until they get it right. I have had friends who have taken their vehicles here and spent large amounts of money having a single issue "fixed" multiple times. In some cases, they were told that there was no problem when in actuality there was (as was discovered soon after by a different auto mechanic) while charging full price for their diagnostic. It is time mechanics were held responsible for incompetance, especially if they are going to charge you for it.

SHOUT OUT to Precision Automotive of Manteca, Great Mechanic shop!!! Shop is very clean, Service by all staff was EXCELLENT! My husband washed my motor with motor cleaner when I turned it on it started to shake and the engine light came on, he rushed the car to Armando at Precision who looked under the hood and took care of the shaking & engine light problem, my car is running great now! 5 stars just does not do any justice! Google needs to make a 10 stars category. Highly recommend this place for any auto care. The ONLY place We will trust with our WRX STI. Staff is amazing, friendly, honest, explain and conmunicate everything in detail the process before doing anything. Love how they treat every customer like family. Hands down the best place. Worth our 30min drive for great Auto care!

We have taken our vehicles over several years for various repairs. The estimates have been right on target, with no "unexpected" surprises, and the prices have been reasonable. The worked was performed on time, and we never had to take a vehicle back to have them re-do work they have done. They gave discount for CSAA members, but I dont know if they still do.

Blew my engine over the holiday weekend. The owner of Presicion Auto called his tow truck friend and had my truck towed to his shop in no time. I really like that they kept my truck inside at night. Friendly and very helpful. We will be back.

This shop looks great, they quote a fair price, and then (wait for it . . . ) they actually charge you what they promised!! Go figure! Honest, capable, pleasant to deal with, Precision is the shop I wish I would have found a long time ago.
