I was new to the area and was looking for a good mechanic to work on my 1970 Mercury Cougar convertible. I was referred to Paz Automotive on Waterloo… to my amazement I found Dennis Paz (a very successful local drag racer) and his very sweet wife Lori running their shop. When I described the problems with my car Dennis worked on it and had it running like a champ! A few months later I had more serious issues with my Cougar and Dennis came to my home and diagnosed my problem (blown motor) without hesitation I contracted with him to build my new motor (I can’t wait!). I feel very blessed to have met them and have Dennis working on my car… I really enjoy talking shop with Dennis he is very knowledgeable. Stockton is very lucky to have such “down to earth” people like Dennis and Lori run a business in this town. I highly recommend Paz Automotive & Truck for all your automotive needs. Anthony Brown

I contacted paz auto to get my car serviced and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and was "NOT" customer friendly at all. their demeanor was as if theyre the only auto service garage in stockton. customer service was handled very poorly and displayed no interest in whether i was a customer or not.

just want people to know Paz is the place to go for repairs, smog tests, oil changes - anything - they are the first place i go to when i need something for my car. i have known Lori & Dennis for several years and they are very knowledgeable and friendly - thank you for all you do!!
