I stopped using Kenelys because of an expensive and serious error they made that could have killed me. After having been with them for over a decade, taking my Classic Impala to them every 3,000 miles for complete tune up, spark plug and wire change, oil changes, etc. Then one time, they said the carburator must be replaced. Got car back and it always smelled of fuel. Took back several times, each time they either said it was fixed or they couldnt find the smell. Fast forward, my brother came to town and I picked him up at the airport. We drove down the aisle to leave the parking lot, and he says, "You trying to get yourelf killed?" and had me pull over. He took off air filter and found that fuel was seeping out from under the carburetor because only two screws instead of four. I called Kenelys to tell them and they refused to allow me to bring it back for them to fix, saying they did all they could. I had to go to Kragens to get a new seal and some screws. Then we found that two screws had been broken off inside the mount area. I have never used Kenelys since then. Mostly because when I sent a letter to the owner, Mr. Randi Kenely, about the incident, his refused to make good on work telling me, "my crew kept working on your car and it cost me money. " Can you guess how much money youve lost since then Mr. Kenely, because I have taken my classic car and my new car to another shop.

Service performed 2/6/17 I had been here several times with a friend who has almost all of her automotive repairs done here, and they always treated her fairly, and Eric had previously given me a quote for a tune up that was $50 less than the place around the corner from me, so when my car broke down this is where I had it towed. It turned out to just be the water pump and lower radiator hose, but they also told me about several components of the suspension that were badly in need of repair. I was already aware of this and had been putting it off for a while, and their quote seemed fair, so I told them to go ahead and do those repairs as well. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I provided a lower radiator hose, and even after I mentioned this 3 times before leaving the car there they still used their own hose and charged me triple what I had already paid to purchase one ahead of time.

Very nice people,,, But they have to be,,, So you will believe their lies while they get you pay for stuff that does not need repair and never even fix the problem you originally brought it to them for in the first place! Avoid this place! it is run by Liars and Crooks! "They smile in your face, The Backstabbers!" But I chalked it up as a learning experience and fixed my own vehicle. Hey kenely, I sincerely hope all your Bad Karma comes back to haunt you and everything you love and hold dear!, and thats from the heart there scooter!

Ive used them once. They play tricks on people who do not know about cars. I paid them over 600 bucks and they made my car worse. They did not let me know all the problems at once and asked my permission to fix one thing at a time, because they knew I would not pay over 1k to fix my old crappy car. One of my coworkers told me later that he happened to know this place rips people off!

I have worked on my own cars for years and gone to many repair shops. These guys are crooks. They make up parts so much it makes me sick, I could drive to any parts store in town and buy the parts for less than these guys charge. On top of that, they are not open weekends which complicates things. There are plenty of good shops around, dont waste your hard earned cash with these guys

Weve relied on Kenelys to keep our cars running safe for 18 years now. This is the only shop well use for smog checks, routine checkups & repairs. Theyve always done a great job no matter how easy or difficult. Eric will always quote a job beforehand and his crew of mechanics do a superb job thats timely & reliable.

Wrong diagnosis, I guess no one is perfect but I found them a bit on the high side $$ wise. At least they were honest about the costs.
