I used to rent from Public Storage (formerly Shuregard) in Palo Alto. I got fed up with limited access, the shabby facility, and an egregious situation where I couldnt get the elevator to let me in after office hours to get items I needed urgently out of my unit, and their customer service people wouldnt nhelp me. I was also not impressed with how this facility under both ownerships treated me on pricing--found out they left me paying a very high price even when rates went down. When Extra Space opened up a handsome new facility here, they offered a very competitive price, but the clincher for me was the time they spent with me early on to show me the facility, explain all the benefits they had, and make sure they put everything on the table to get my business. Two other storage companies within a block of this place, including one very large new facility, were either unprofessional or seemingly uninterested in winning my business when I went in and asked for pricing and information about deals such as a free month, etc. They didnt even get up out of their seats to speak with me, and at Bay Area Self Storage, they were busy with personal cell phone calls. Even after I signed up at Extra Space with a package including a free month, a lower rate than any other facility near by for more total space, and my pick of units to rent, things got better. I got free use of a big clean truck to move my stuff, and when they offered a special the following month offering a bigger unit at the same discounted rate I was already paying, they upgraded me with no hassles. The Belmont unit is clean, well designed, easy to get in and out of, and the staff are just great to work with. I can be hard on companies that let me down so I try to sign high praises when they do a great job, and this company truly does a great job.

Steve Wallace and the other staff members have been incredible. Although, my daughter has been struggling with her divorce and subsequent financial demise, he (they) always spoke to her with kindness and understanding. I realize they must hear every excuse in the book and are sick of it BUT they still treated her with dignity and plenty of correspondence. 99% of the contents of her unit is basically her daughters sentimental things that cant be replaced, she was so grateful that she could get the time to gather the unit rent and keep her belongings. Even when she walked in to pay it, they didnt give her dirty looks or roll their eyes or be rude...they welcomed her and helped her through every step to be able to keep her unit. These are the type of employees they have there. They know MANY by first name and as a matter of fact we moved our storage from SSF to Extra Space in Burlingame. Thank you for your service and understanding!

First off, the gentlemen that helped me, Kirk was a pleasure to deal with, kirk was knowledgeable, friendly, and polite, there was no sales pressure on renting the storage unit. Before going to Extra Space Storage, I called other storage companies, and Extra Space Storage was by far the best deal in town! I got a ground floor unit inside with the first month free! I thought there might be a catch with the first month free, but there wasnt any. I have made 2 loads to the unit already, and it went very smooth, they have 2 entrances, and one was always open, we used their flat carts to move the items into the unit, and they worked very well plenty big enough, they look brand new, and run smooth, also, this place is as clean as a whistle, another good point, kirk said he would pro rate the rent when I am going to leave, and I would not have to pay for a full month. Yes I would recommend Extra Space Storage. Sincerely phillip Fitting.

Tengo varias cosas que ya no uso pero no quiero vender y otras que no caben en donde vivo, asi que busque un sitio para guardarlas, compare en otros lugares y tome la decision acertada. Es limpio, seguro y muy conveniente. Ahora tengo mas espacio en mi casa y mis cosas se conservan mejor que en el garaje. Lo Recomiendo!!!

Youre welcomed by the warmest smile you could ever hope for when you enter the office and are greeted by Veronica. Her confidence created an environment of comfort that allowed me embrace the way in which she represented the company and how I would be treated as a customer. Her clarity of the product left me without question or doubt, and if I were to have a concern, I wouldnt hesitate to inquire because of the rapport she quickly made with me. I am amazed by the way she manages the facility and caters to the customers. I came by word of mouth and I would definitely recommend utilizing ExtraSpace because of the facility, but mostly because of the service.

Wanted to let everyone know how I feel about Extra Space Storage in Belmont and its employees, especially Veronica Aragon. I have been with other storage companies who shall remain nameless and I have never been satisfied until I came to ExtraSpace. Ive had some extenuating circumstances and theyve always been accommodating but Veronica has been priceless. She has bent over backwards to be there and has been extremely generous with her time to help me. In addition her warmth and smiles were a gift on some of my darkest days yet always being a professional. They ate lucky to have her and other companies should take her example in customer service.

I have been a client of this Belmont facility for about ten years. "Extra Space Storage" units are fairly priced. In addition to that, the buildings are clean, well lit, and easy to access. The management of this facility is directly responsible for this state of affairs. Store Manager, Veronica Aragon, is truly an asset to the Extra Space Storage family. Not only does she understand the business, she understands her clients, and their particular expectations. A consummate professional, indeed! PS Besides all this professional acumen, Veronica lights up the office with her Beautiful Smile !!! I really like it !!!

I am very familiar with most of the storage facilities in my area, and have rented space at a number of them. The quality can vary quite a bit, but Ive had very consistent positive experiences at the Extra Space Storage on Harbor Blvd in Belmont. Each time I have rented storage space here I have been treated in a most professional manner, got outstanding value, and have been very satisfied with the experience. I have no hesitation whatsoever in giving Extra Space Storage my highest recommendation.

1. Make sure that you get a confirmation stating unit number and actual price in writing prior to going there. They change their rates (on-the-fly). 2. Make sure that you have proof of insurance. Otherwise they charge you $10 (for $2000 coverage which is nothing). They wont even let you go home to get it. 3. Make sure that you let them know when you are moving in. Otherwise if the employee is on the break, you have to wait (you end up paying the movers - in my case).

I used this space for 2 years when I moved out of CA and wasnt sure whether I would be relocating to another state permanently or not. I made frequent trips to Belmont to access my things in storage and never had a problem. The place is clean, climate controlled, and secure. The customer service was professional, my access convenient, and the space served my purposes. I couldnt have asked for more!
