I do not see anything smart about this... I think they use clown cars to transport packages. I can see Charlie Chaplin now, starting in Eloy, AZ, then driving up to view the Grand Canyon. He gets chased by a bear. He jumps in his truck and drives away hastily! He finally stops his truck, gets out, and scratches his head. He looks up and the sign says "Tucson". He cranks his delivery truck, and it spits black smoke. He kicks the tire, the trucks falls flat… you get the picture... 3 days later hes in Los Angeles (which is normally a 6 hour drive. Its also a 6 hour drive to my delivery address from Eloy, AZ), only to turn around and head the opposite direction he just came from. Now its another day later… Now, if FedEx SmartPost tracking told me that, then at least I would be thoroughly entertained... But, Im not laughing, and still no package. Not even in the same county yet! This may be less expensive for the shipper, but how can this be saving any resources? This seems to use more fuel, more warehouse storage time and more man-hours. How can this really be cheaper? And, it doesnt seem to be eco-friendly. Ill be interested to see how this survives as a business model...

After reading all these comments, I just want to point out that I totally feel the pain you guys have. Smartpost Chino FedEx is like a black hole, once the item reaches here, it will disappear, at least for a while. If your product arrived this place, well, its unfortunate. I always keep track to my items tracking history after purchasing on Ebay. My product was sent from New York all the way to CA, and now its stucked in this Smartpost Chino Fedex. Estimated delivery date is already passed and the tracking history is still not updated since it arrived here. I wonder how long will it take for them to depart from that place. I do not think FedEx is bad, its that this Smartpost Chino place is bad. I am assuming that people who work there have no responsbility on their job at all? Just wanna say this is very inconvenient for customers, I beg for improvement. I will keep updating this review comment from now on, until the product arrives to my house. By the way, my house is about 25 minutes away from this god damn place, can I just go pick it up?

Why Amazon allows anyone including themselves to ship via FedEx Smartpost, particularly those of us paying for Prime, is beyond me. As said before, once the package(s) hit Chino everything just halts for days and for no reason at all. Also, as voiced before, I live very close to this area so there is no logical reason for these delays in shipping. My two-day Prime always ends up being 7 days when shipped via FedEx SmartPost. THERE IS NOTHING SMART ABOUT IT. Amazon should be allowing us to choose the service we want for shipping if they are not going to stick to the 2 day Prime deal people like myself are paying for because I would choose USPS or UPS over this route any day of the week. if USPS can get my package to me from Arizona to California in less than a week I should get that choice. Maybe FedEx would rethink their process if they lost all the business of the Amazon customers.

Fedex sucks I have filed a complaint with the company that sent me the merchandise and explained to them in loving detail that if they ever use Fedex again I will NEVER buy from them again. My purchase has been within 20 miles of me for 4 days now and is at the third location (farther away than when it first got here). Now they plan to give it to the post office (one of these days when they get around to it) and it will take a day to reach me. If they had just used first class business the company I bought from would have paid half as much to ship my purchase, the box would have been free, and it would have been here 4 days ago....

I have noticed that I havent been getting my products on time when they reach this FedEx Smartpost in Chino, CA. The tracking information on both of my items are still Chino and has not updated in over a week. I order clothes from "The Five Four Club" every single month and I seem to have a problem receiving my product on time when going through the FedEx SmartPost in Chino,CA. They may or may not be entirely @ fault, but it sure looks that when when checking the tracking history.

Horrid place to work. They treat their employees like disposable trash. Maybe if they fired all of the management and hired employees directly through the company with benefits there wouldnt be so many problems. Instead they have supervisors on power-trips that think theyre drill instructors and the majority of employees are underpaid and unappreciated. Never mind the mediocre service, stop shipping with Fedex because of how they treat their employees.

DONT EVER SHIP WITH FEDEX, BIG JOKE. The worst nightmare ever. Shipper shipped it on 11th from FL to here in CA. The package went thru from FL - GA - IL -KS - TX- AZ ..and so on. Today is 19th and the package is still traveling to next state but CA. May be they put the package into a luxury cruise now heading to Hawaii. COME ON, THIS IS NOT COOL. IT IS A XMAS GIFT FOR GOD SHAKE !!!! USPS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It Says one star but I wish there was negative stars that company is so stupid please dont use this service worst mistake of my life my package really went through my town to show up in a different town to show up in Chino which isnt too far from fontana so I called and asked if I could pick it up there but somehow it takes 3 days to get a package to me horrible horrible horrible

Horrible!! Package sat at their location for over a week with nothing done. The last scan in said invalid address. I attempted to call for 4 days in a row to figure out what was going on with the package. No one ever answered the phone. I ended up having to call the company I ordered my items from a report it stolen because neither of us were able to get a response from them!

I was suppose to revive my fedex package today (Saturday) but as soon as it got to this so called "smart post" they transferred it over to USPS so itll take an extra 3 days to get to me. Its now scheduled to arrive Monday when it had been scheduled to arrive at my house on Saturday all week long. What is wrong with FedEx? This is not what I payed for.

They extended the delivery by a day its only a hour drive from where i live and they want to give it to me in 3 days?! I also heard that where my package is right now is usually stolen or never shipped. If my package is extended another day or doesnt arrive on the 22nd im rating this one star.

4 Days is my Package there!! Its 4 Hours away and its laying there 4 Days???? Delivery like in the Wild West? Seems they dont care bout the Customers at all. Worsted Service i ever experienced! I wish big Partners like Amazon would go away from them so they loose all the Money and wake up!!!
