I use the post office regularly, and since I have been in La Habra I have had numerous problems with this post office and some of the carriers. Today I had a packaged "Out for Delivery" per tracking info. I met the Postal Carrier at the apartments mailboxes, just in case there were no large package mailboxes, and so the carrier would not need to go to my apartment. He said he didnt have a package for me, if so I would have a key in my box. I didnt. I then asked if he would check the large mailboxes and he wouldnt. Got back to my apartment and tracking said package was delivered. Nothing there. This is the 4th time Ive had confirmation saying a package was delivered, when the other times it was still on the truck or misdirected. I also schedule pick-ups. A service they offer. I had on 5 occasions, no one show for the pick up. Im the last stop on the route, so by the time I realize I have been missed, its pretty much to late to call the post office. I have caught them twice and they made a trip to pick up my items. When checking the status online they marked items as picked-up, when they definitely did not come by. Ive had First Class packages picked up on Tuesday, but not showing up on tracking until Thursday morning. I know it takes a bit to update, but the info going out is saying the post office received the item on Thursday, not Tuesday when they took possession. In this day and age with everything linked, it is necessary for the post office to be accurate. New ordered Cell phones are turned on when delivered, with old ones disconnected as soon as delivery confirmation is received. Ebay holds funds for some sellers based on if packages are shipped/ picked up/delivered within certain time frames. Updates are sent via automated emails, texts and phone calls. This is based on the USPS tracking info. Ive been doing online sales for 15 years, and have never had a problem remotely close to all I have had in La Habra. Next time I shall give my thoughts on the counter service. I had an employee of the La Habra Post Office even recommend I use a different office. WOW! ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ADDED ON 9/1/15 The site would not let me do another review, so I am adding to my previous. A few weeks back, tracking showed packaged delivered. No package there, no key for parcel box (Im in an apartment). Found out a week later the key was in an empty PO box next to mine that they keep a few supplies in. Today tracking shows a package out for delivery at 9:35am. No package here. Still listed as out for delivery, so Im assuming it was left on the vehicle. Hope it arrives tomorrow.

If I can rate this place zero, I will, like the previous review of Scott. Employees here need a refresher of their policies and procedures especially people renewing their passport. The website should be updated because people follow it and it is not says the correct one. I called this branch for an appointment to renew passport I talked to a supervisor named Yvonne, she told me they have walk- in from 10:00 to 2:30 PM., even picture from 10 to 3 PM first come first serve. My wife and I rush immediately to this branch. I ask a female counter employee where I can renew passport. She told me that the Imperial hwy, la habra branch does not do that service it is all in 120 East La Habra blvd. branch. I told her I talked to Yvonne, she just directed me to the same place. I said your sign in front and in the glass you process passport renewal here, she said it is there in East La Habra Blvd. So, my wife and I drove immediately to the La Habra site. Talking to the person in the counter again, she said they dont do it there. You can renew by mail. Go back to Imperial hwy site they do it there. I said but they said it is here. I ask who is Yvonne. She responded she is a supervisor in Imperial hwy branch. and she even commented that Im having a run around w/ wrong info. So, We went again to Imperial hwy branch and talked to the female employee who send us to the other site and having a little heated argument already of which is which. So I said can I talked to Yvonne. She just called another Male employee or supervisor to talk to me and he said that all passport processing is on the La Habra blvd. branch. I said but those people there said it is here. So I ask for Yvonne again and he said she is on break. I told the Guy to get your act together and update your website seems that no body is talking which is the true procedure to follow. I said Ill just go to a reliable place, maybe the immigration office. What an experience.

First of all, no one ever answers the phone to answer important questions people may have that need immediate attention. Second, there are never enough customer service people working in the front office so so it takes about 50 minutes to accomplish anything. Third, the supervisor in charge of LaHabras post office needs to be replaced. Forth, every time I have been there there always seems to be a problem with various people, packages, mail, post office box problems. I am 52 years old and I have never been in such a shoddy post office in all my days. Someone needs to fix these problems by hiring more people. Mail contains checks to survive yet it is not a priority for your post office. I would like to meet the supervisor in a dark place to convince him that LaHabras post need to be changed for the better. We can send people to the moon, yet the LaHabra Post is as shoddy and it can be. Maybe your supervisor can meet with me to speak about the shoddiness of the post office in a dark and secluded place.

If I could give a hundred stars for Morris, I would. My fiancée and I came in last Saturday with one wedding invitation in an envelope to try and figure out how much postage would be per letter. Morris was upfront and honest with us, and said that because we had a wood insert on the invite that stuck out, that it "was gonna hurt" on the postage. Turned out to be $2.68 a letter since our envelopes were bulged out a bit because of the wood insert. That meant buying stamps. A lot of stamps. And Morris was so very calm and patient with us though there was a line that was nearly reaching to the door! He brought out stamps that he thought would go well with wedding invites and my fiancée picked through them. Luckily, were having a small wedding and are only inviting like 35 people. Morris truly helped me spending like 2000% more than what I expected bearable. He seems honest and he was a delight to work with.

LITERALLY THE WORST POST OFFICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. They use to be really good up until five years ago when our old delivery guy was moved to another area - now theres apparently a bunch of people who work our neighborhood and are CONSTANTLY delivering the wrong mail or not delivering packages at all. Ive had credit card bills end up at the wrong house and today I had a very expensive parcel that went out for delivery at 11am - waited all day and then saw at 7pm that the parcel was marked as rejected - HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN IM THE ONLY ONE HOME ALL DAY UNLESS ITS GOING TO THE WRONG HOUSE OR NOT EVEN BEING DELIVERED? Im so sick of this post office - I recommend that you invest the money and get yourself a PO Box down at the second La Habra post office on La Habra Blvd next to the civic center. This will be my next step after I file a complaint in the morning and fight for my parcel.
