The first time I asked the La Quinta Postal Service to hold my mail, they didnt deliver it after the hold expired, as I requested. I went to the post office and waited at least 20 minutes at the pick up window while the employee with an attitude, searched all over the place. WTH!! The second time I requested a mail hold, AGAIN the carrier didnt deliver the mail after the expiration date. I just received an email from Amazon indicating there was an attempt to deliver a package from them at 1:05 p.m., and an "Attempt to Deliver Notice" was left in my mailbox by the carrier. NO SUCH NOTICE IN MY MAILBOX, and I have been home all day . Now Im suppose to request a redelivery. Upon tracking the package on the USPS website, it said it was "out for delivery" shortly after 7 a.m. this morning! USPS did deliver a package from another source this morning by lobbing it over my property wall. This is how I always receive my packages, no matter the content, and BTW, I dont have a dog. God forbid the carrier would have the gumption to ring the doorbell at the front gate. I thought the Livermore post office was inept, but these guys take the cake, far and beyond anything Ive experienced.

I have shipped quite a few packages from this location. I was shocked by the treatment I received today. I came into the post office holding my 17 month old sleeping daughter. I went into the post office to ask if they had a cart or someone who could assist me with a large box from my car as I cannot carry my daughter and the box at the same time. She said there was no one to help me. I struggled in the parking lot with the box until a woman came to help me. We carried the box inside. Irma informed me there were no packing products other than small bubble wrap, no problem at all. I grabbed a few packages and struggles to open them with one hand and pack the box myself. Irma didnt offer to help and watched me go through 5 packs of bubble wrap this way. A man in line came to my aid to move and close the large, heavy box. I asked for tape to tape the box, the tape ran out after a few strips and she informed me there was no other tape available. I was shocked this woman and the other post workers watched me struggle, when I left a woman who had seen the entire thing said she had never seen anything like that and was sorry for the treatment I received. What a bummer!

I went to the postoffice to ask them to leave any parcels at my front door, not to leave a notice or take the package back because it was my dogs insulin. Its on ice and it cant melt because the insulin changes chemically. And what did I find in my box??????????? A Freaking NOTICe. The package is back at the post office getting warm, melting the ice and spoiling the insulin which i desperately need for my dog and also cost $100.... Oh, boy am I mad....

Great experience at this post office. Super friendly customer service. Today my mother and me had appointments too apply for passports, Where both handicapp we thought we were going too have a hard time! They were so helpful we really appreciate it. The customer service lady "Autumn " is such a nice person. Which made our experience great....

I would give this operation zero stars but that is not an option. Most post office personnel are not customer service oriented but this one takes the cake for slow and rude. The manager (I think her name is Janet) really needs to be replaced with a manager who has a good attitude and who can properly train employees. Awful, just awful.

I have been on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back and they put me right back on hold. Rude, Rude, Rude. My package was not delivered as shown on the tracking!!! What a joke! I cant even get to the Postmaster to register a complaint. Shame on you! You are pathetic.
