I have had my packages flat out stolen, where the postmaster had to call the carrier after hours at HOME and make her return it to me!! Twice! the excuse was that there was someone else in town with a similar name and she delivered it there instead?? So the address on it had no bearing but the name did.... Then there are the deliveries where instead of coming to my porch and knocking (there is ALWAYS someone here) they just leave a card saying they missed us. They never tried to deliver it, just LAZY. Just had another one today!! Then, having called the post office and asking where I could lodge a formal complaint, being told that it wouldnt do any good...seriously....I want the BOSS of the BOSS of the Rathdrum Post Office and Im being told that I cant do that? For those who have lived here in Rathdrum for more than a few years, DONT WE ALL MISS ROGER??

Walked to the post office to pick up a parcel they put a note in our mailbox for and found out it was sent back. The date on the notice said to pick it up BY that date. I asked why I never heard a knock from a postal worker because I work from home and am here every day, they told me they "dont even try to deliver parcels to apartments because there are too many of them." (there are 10 in this building) and we will, "always get the notice to come pick it up instead of them delivering a package." This is despite the fact they delivered a package to our door last week. This particular Post Office is open only during business hours for pick ups, despite their advertised hours, and not on weekends at all. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

How has this piece of crap place NOT been shut down yet??? I tracked a package THAT STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED that was delivered to them on the 24th of September. It then said that they tried twice to deliver it to my place on the 25th. Guess what? I have Fridays off! I was home all day. Where is my package??!! This is what they do! I pay shipping to have things delivered to me monthly and yet I am always going to the post office to pick it up because they wont deliver and lie about trying to deliver it! I am so fed up with this! If I dont receive my package today, I am going to the BBB.

We are VERY upset about the mail delivery service. Weve had mail returned to senders (including MONEY!!!) even though the address distinctly showed our name and Lot #. Mail from work, W-2s, bills, medicine....its all been put into the wrong box and weve found it stuffed into an empty slot. Even AFTER I called and talked to the manager about the problem, weve had several issues arise. I dont think it should be that hard to figure out which box the mail should be placed in. We are SOOOO disappointed in our mail service.

I have dealt With a lot of USPS location and this one is by FAR the best. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. They helped my wife and I with our business ie. size of packages and fastest, easiest , and least expensive way to send what we need to send . As a new business owner they have been a great resource for us . They even held my wallet that I left by accident till my wife came in. We send lots of small packages a day and they help us out tremendously and with a smile on each time I see them.

Horrible. They cant seem to really care about putting the right mail in the right boxes at apartments. They flat out LIE about delivery when they get caught not delivering mail. All my mail has been going to other residents and a package I had been waiting over a week for they kept at the Post Office with no note in my box or on my door indicating the attempt to deliver. I know its a small town, but come on!

Lie, lie, lie....never accountable. David (the man in charge) continues to make it our problem that our mail, all too often, is delivered to a different address or we get our neighbors mail. Now this is more than a minor hassle when it is time sensitive materials.
