This is the first negative review Ive ever written. I am always the person who goes out of my way to let managers know when Ive had good service and often go to company websites to give praise. We were referred to Precision Auto Collision by our insurance company. This was my daughters first accident and I was having her handle the details with some guidance. She was telling me that the shop said to not bring the car in for an estimate unless she already had the money for her deductible and only if we were going to have them fix it right away. We took it in a month later, expecting to leave the vehicle with them but Todd told us that it wasnt "worth" it for him to tear the car down to do a full estimate because there was a possibility of the car being totalled... so we took the car home after he took some photos. When we called our insurance company they told us that they needed the car to be torn down to get a good estimate. When I called Todd he told me that I had said that I didnt want the car torn down. When I disagreed with him and let him know that the other 2 people who were with me also heard him say it wasnt worth it he became condescending and began interrupting me mid sentence. When I told him the car wasnt running (the battery had died) he told me he would contact my adjuster because they couldnt have a vehicle that wasnt running at their shop. My insurance adjuster told me that even if the vehicle was totalled that the shop would be paid for the work they had done so Im not sure why he had such an aversion to working on it. Ive never had someone in the service industry speak so rudely to me.

AAA recommend me to Precision Auto C. Graham did a great job on repainting my bumper and a lttile bit of the side panel above it. My Lexus is a breakwater blue with metallic glider on it and he matched it well. Furthermore, he was willing to show and redo my slide bumper when I thought one side was looser than the other. Ramond did a fine job on buffing,cleaning and waxing my dirty car lol n for free, but I think he got tired of vacuuming the dog hairs in the backseat. Also he was friendly enough to return my rental car. My agent at Precision was Rafael and he has poor customer relationships, but he at least told Graham to assist in my concern. Another agent at this shop,Fred, was sincere enough to accommodate my redo bumper curiosity and was very friendly. This shop is $$$ but the over customer service is great and they finish my car in ~4 days( late Friday to thurs) which was 2 days earlier than my insurance told me.

By the way, Graham is not only sweet, but HOT* with a cute New Zealand,so I recommend u ladies to have him paint/redo parts for your car.

Insurance company recommended them. Although had an appointment, had to wait for ever to get an estimate. The guy seemed like he was doing us a favor by even coming out, had no clipboard, or anything on him to write things down, then he pulls a number out of the air and says it is between $1,500 and $2,000 and over a week. A real attitude. With $750 deductible, I felt like they were trying to stick it to the insurance company. Drove down a block to Laguna Niguel Collision Center, they took several pictures, looked up all the parts cost, gave me a written estimate, awesome attitude, told me it will be 2.5 days and the cost was less than my deductible at $650, so no insurance claim. Precision is just out there to rip off insurance companies, which effects all of our rates. Be smart and stay away.

I am doing this review before I picked up my car because I am so frustrated by the poor scheduling. I would not be so upset if there was some consistency about when the car was to be finished. I have every expectation the your work will be good, but I feel that you should do a better job with communication. Obviously, every day is additional cost due to the rental of a car. I dont even know who is responsible and that, by itself, is disappointing. all I got for the last two weeks was approximation and as of now it is still unclear. I have mentioned this to the VW people and they we also unaware of the lack of expectation communication. Tom C

Was recommended to use Precision by my insurance company for a small "fender bender" repair. WOW! These guys are AWESOME, They handled my repair quickly, it looks fantastic and they communicated with me through the entire process. When I picked up my car, it was sitting right out front and freshly detailed, it looked so good, I was so impressed - very nice touch guys! Thank you. I just picked up my Lexus from Precision Auto Collision, and I can not say enough great things about them. There was over $4000.00 worth of work done to my car, and I never thought it would come back to me looking newer than it did before the accident. I am so pleased with every aspect of their work, and they made the whole process really easy on me, right down to helping me get a rental. I would have no problem at all referring a friend.

The team at Precision is just incredible. Every experience we have had has been outstanding. They are super friendly, and go out of their way to provide excellent service and quality work. I will continue to come to them for any/every auto repair issue. They are affordable and trustworthy. They even just buffed out a scratch for free. These folks wanted to charge me 1250 for work I had done for about 700 at Carsmetics in Costa Mesa (with shorter turn around). I recommend you steer clear of this place which seems to focus on charging top dollar to your insurance company. Go see John Wilson at Carsmetics...
