I got my procedure done in June 2016 and it was undoubtedly the best decision I ever made!! I was categorized as Stage 4 and got a FUE done with 3262 grafts. The results have been unbelievable and it has boosted my confidence ever since. I am so glad I went ahead with Dr. Diep as I compared his results with other doctors and theirs was incomparable to Dr. Diep’s. I’m so glad I chose the right doctor. I remember consulting with Dr. Diep in around May 2016 and immediately booked an appointment for Oct 2016. I had asked them to schedule as soon as possible and they added me to the waitlist. I got a call within 2 weeks that someone has cancelled their surgery and asked if I want to take that spot. I immediately said yes and book my appointment the following week. Dr. Diep’s staff will give you complete details of the pre and post surgery care well ahead of time. Day before the surgery, I was told to not eat anything spicy to avoid excess bleeding and I showed up at their clinic at around 7:30am. Dr. Diep’s staff asked me to sign some waiver related paperwork and he gave medication and I dozed off. I woke up around 1am for lunch and to use the restroom. Dr. Diep was done removing the grafts and I do remember seeing myself in the mirror and the bleeding was far less than what I had expected. After lunch they gave me another set of sedatives and I woke up at around 8:30pm again. That was the time when they were done implanting the grafts. Throughout the procedure there was literally no pain I experienced. The surgery went well and Dr. Diep told me to go home and relax. My head was covered in bandage and was wearing a surgical hat that covered my head. I remember had no problem walking to the pharmacy where my wife and I went to pick up some medication. After coming home, I remember sleeping on my couch throughout the night. Again, the whole time I didn’t feel pain throughout. The next 3/4 days were the most critical! My wife and I took the utmost care. We drove to doctor’s clinic to get my washes done. I remember getting a lot of hiccups but those were mostly the side effect of the sedatives they gave on the day of the surgery. They went away after 4th day or so. After the 4th day, my wife started doing my head washes at home and we kept taking the necessary care. For the first 7 days or so, I slept on the couch with almost at a 125 degree angle. Apart from that I was mostly relaxing till my 15th day as I had taken off for 1 week another wfh week to recover from surgery. Hair on my sides had started growing already and was looking really normal towards the 15th day. It was really difficult to say if I had got any procedure done as there were literally no marks on the back of my head or on the side where the grafts were taken off from. I started going to work after 15 days of rest and was able to do my usual things. A month from my surgery I went on a week long trip too without any issues. Although, the top of my head was numb for almost 1.5 - 2 months from the day of the surgery but that never bothered me at all. Somewhere around 2nd month my hair started shedding and that went till 3rd month or so. Then around 4.5 month to 6 months was one of the best periods where you see your hair growing almost everyday! And at the end of six month I was looking more handsome than I ever looked as a teenager. From six months till date my hair has continuously grown and I think I’ve got really mind blowing results because of Dr. Diep! With that said, I would highly recommend you to get a treatment done at Dr. Diep. Take your time to save money as much as you can but get your treatment done at Dr. Diep. I seriously got better results than I would have ever expected.

I highly recommend Doctor John Diep M.D. for hair transplant. I spent several months debating if I wanted to do a hair transplant. I casually did research online; reviewing techniques, risks, testaments, options, clinics, costs, doctors and hype. Most hair transplant doctors, including Dr. Diep, have free consultation. Over five weeks I consulted with three different clinics/doctors from my online research. One clinic/doctor seemed like a mill. Bring-em-in and pump them out. Very un-personable. Another clinic/doctor reminded me of a used-car sales person. He was telling me how great his work was and how happy I would be with the results, but he did not listen to my questions or gauge my apprehension. The consultation with Dr. Diep was very comfortable. First of all the clinic is very modern, tasteful and clean. The staff was very professional, but pleasant and comfortable. Dr. Diep, for my consultation, did not rush me. Of course I was nervous and tentative, but Dr. Diep explained my options, we discussed risks, what to expect on the day of the procedure and the days, weeks and month afterwards. One delicate concern that I had was if people would notice the procedure because it looked un-natural or obvious. Dr. Diep essentially drew on me where the hair would go and the density. Additionally, he showed me pictures of other transplants that he has done. There was no drama, just two people talking. Regarding costs, he drew me my options and relative costs. He did not pressure me into any decision, but I was comfortable in that he answered all my questions, and after some pondering I decided to schedule the hair transplant. On the day of the transplant, I arrived early in the morning, for my six hour procedure. The procedure room was quite large, extremely clean, and very comfortable. Dr. Diep and the Technician explained what to expect. I was given a local, there was no pain and I dowsed over the next few hours. Dr. Diep had very clearly explained what would go on during and after the transplant, both at the consultation and before and after the procedure. What he told me was spot-on to what I went through. The donor area had to be cleaned regularly, the redness of where the new hair was disappeared after four to six days. The swelling came down much sooner. There was some light scabbing around where the hair was transplanted and that lasted about two weeks. I actually went to work a week after the procedure and no one could really notice the change. The biggest discomfort was trying not to sleep on the transplanted area for a week or so and the tenderness where the donor hair came from. During the follow-up visit, in the waiting room, other customers were really impressed on how good and natural the transplants looked. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results and the whole experience. Dr. Diep did not hide anything from me and the whole event went just as he explained. Overall a positive experience and money well spent.

Words cannot express the immense gratitude I have for Dr. Diep and his team in their efforts to restore my receding hairline. Prior to my experience with Dr. Diep I went through two miserable procedures, the results of which were absolutely horrendous. The transplanted hairs were sparse, pluggy, and overall completely unnatural in appearance. The emotional trauma I faced as a result just about killed all hope I had for regaining a natural, youthful hairline, and I was quickly spiraling into a deep depression because of it. That is until I came across Dr. Dieps work. Upon watching his many videos, before/after photos, and patient testimonies, I was utterly baffled at the quality of his hair transplantation results. As I continued to scroll through his library of patients, I thought to myself "this is too good to be true, theres NO WAY these patients are real." But boy was I wrong. After experiencing Dr. Dieps magic firsthand through my FUE procedure with him, I became a believer. When I showed up for my surgery, I was greeted by a very friendly team of staff who made me feel comfortable and reduced much of the anxiety I was facing going into it. I was showed to the operating room which was spacious, professional, and actually quite calming. The procedure itself went by so smoothly and seemingly quick that when I awoke from my anesthetic haziness I thought to myself "wow that was fast, are we done already?" Afterwards, Dr. Diep and his staff supplied me with sufficient instructions on how to care for my hair post-op. The hardest, most painful part of the whole experience was waiting for the transplanted hair to actually start growing. Month 1-6 was filled with doubt, worry, and anxiety, given that my last 2 procedures went horribly wrong... I kept imagining the worse case scenario in my head relentlessly. BUT once I made it past month 6, all of my fears and worries melted away. From month 6-12, the hair started to thicken and fill out beautifully. I was finally able to wear my hair out in public after month 6 without worry of people detecting I had had a procedure done. Now at month 12, I am happier than I have EVER been and it is all thanks to Dr. Diep. I seriously cannot stress enough how impressed I am with his work and how it has changed my life. If you are looking for a doctor to perform a hair transplant and want the best result you can possibly achieve, then I promise you Dr. Diep is the miracle youve been searching for! Thank you so much, again, and I wish anybody out there looking to have a HT procedure the best of luck!
