BEST.STORAGE.EVER. This is by far the best storage facility in California (and I say this from experience). I have been renting here for a couple of years now and I cant say enough good things about it. Everyone who works there (especially Victor, Dave, and Terri) are extremely kind and professional. They go above and beyond to provide exemplary customer service always. I store many valuable and cherished items in my unit and I am always amazed at how safe and secure they are. Not to mention how clean my unit and the public areas are. Seriously, every time I open my door there isnt even a speck of dust on my things. Also the facility is air-conditioned so there is no risk of humidity or damage. Honestly, customer service is of the utmost importance to me. It determines whether I give a certain place my business or not. I cant say enough good things about Extra Space, they are the perfect example of how a business should be run. All I can say is thank you to Victor, Dave, and Terri and keep up the good work! Do yourself a favor and listen to my most sincere advice: rent from Extra Space. And dont thank me, thank the staff!

A YOUNG lady named jordan at this facility is worth any difference you may find at other locations. I watched her with a phone under each ear try to find a weeks parking for a man going out of town the next day. So concerned was this lady that i thought she would park his car at her own home to acomadate this new customer. imagine how she treats her regulars. To me, she treats me like a mother. The time when mother gives you her pudding, after you drop yours on the floor, or just ate to fast. Its worth the visit to see. We some times forget there is some one on our side. when moving, or out or space for old family valuables, you need a person to think for you. for ten bucks more, or a five mile extra drive, you should have some one at your back, when your stuff is so far away. every one here is good, but you will need jordan one day. I think i spelled her name wrong. something always goes wrong. you will need her

This facility seems like it was an acquired facility being rehabbed. I was there for 15 months. While there, they painted the floor I was on, but may not have completed all floors. My floor was mostly light and bright, although my unit was between lights and very dark. Fortunately, I am a mole man, and could see in the dark. The staff was friendly, and the facilities were always easily accessible. I paid online, which was easier than the kiosk outside the place which I dont believe I ever got to work after two tries. Easy truck access and lots of room to unload. The elevator lobby in my building was a little small on the second floor, but not much they can do about that now. I was slowly pairing down my belongings while being between homes. I sped up that process after a second rent increase in 15 months. Otherwise, a good experience overall.

Wow. Impressed by the facility, service and team. Tina McCoy was lovely. I needed a new storage space as I am going to be traveling for some time and Extra Space came up ver close to me. I had done some research in the past on storage companies (For a project I was doing for a competitor) and visited a few Extra Space locations to check them out. I was impressed with how clean, consistent and well put together they were. Now as a customer what I researched is confirmed. At the end of the day though - its about the service. How easy it was to get a space, Tinas knowledge and hospitality and the ability to pay online. As a graphic designer I am impressed by all the small details. The website, the signage, the brochures etc. They are small things, but they add up to the total experience. Much love, -jc

Great storage facility! I give this place 5 stars out of 5 because of four key points. First, the location is prefect. If you need a storage facility and live anywhere in the west side this place is ideal. Second, it is a clean and very safe place. Some of these storage places are unkept and unfortunately dirty and old. At this storage facility it is very clean and very nice. Third, the price is very reasonable. At this place you will get a unit that is fair price and you wont feel like youre paying an arm and a leg to store your belongings. And last this place has great people running it. The managers Terri & David are awesome. They are very personable and will help you out from beginning to end. They will explain and answer any questions you have and will always treat you nicely and with respect.

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE UNIT. First off, the rate quoted in their marketing materials on the building itself is false and misleading, considering reporting them to the FTC. The rate youll actually pay is literally double whats advertised yet you only find that out when youre done the gruelling paperwork. Not an honestly run business. The staff were also rude, including those on their "customer service" line when I called to cancel the unit as I was ready to move. They do NOT offer a prorated amount upon cancelling and try to make you pay for an additional month even when I gave them notice when signing up for the unit of when Id be moving out. There are countless other storage units in the area that Id go with next time Im moving and Id recommend you do the same.

I had rented a storage unit here three years ago for a few monthswhen we moved to Marina Del Rey. I was very happy with the facility and especially the friendly and helpful service. About six months ago I needed a small storage unit again so I returned. I was greeted by Dave and Terri who welcomed me back and found me a unit that perfectly suited my needs. I like this storage facility a lot. It is convenient, well managed, clean and tidy AND everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. The gate hours are also very good. You can get in and out of your unit until 10pm which suits me very well. They want to make storage a pleasant experience for customers. I think they do so really well and recommend the Marina Del Rey facility highly.

It was a delight setting up an account with David and Terri for a space that we needed for making a move. The two of you have been most helpful in getting us situated quickly and easily. We are indebted to your warm welcome to extra-space storage. Making a move is always stressful and you have made it a wonderful experience for us. I can recommend Extra-Space Storage to everyone needing a clean space with extraordinary people helping in every aspect of moving and storing personal belongings. Great location and a newer building (than most storage places). Lots of security cameras, 6am-10pm access hours daily, and nice, helpful people in the office. Tina was the person who set up my account, after I reserved the unit online. She showed me the storage unit before I rented it, and I moved in the same day. Prices for the different storage units were fair, especially when considering the fact that its right by the marina. I got a really good deal on a small unit using the "web rate" (must originate sign-up from their company website). After youre done moving, go to In-N-Out burger 1 block north on Glencoe!
