I ordered some things on Amazon (about 8 items) and they failed to deliver it to my apartment. I waited a week, called and visited the mountain view office. First they said they didnt have a key to get into my apartment building - interesting as I have been getting mail for the past year just fine. Then they call me and tell me to drive to their distribution center to pick up the mail. I drive there and the lady says my stuff is not "sorted" yet. So why did you tell me on the phone I should drive all the over here when the stuff is not even ready to be picked up? I have been waiting a total of 10 days now to receive my packages which was supposed to be delivered in 2 days according to Amazon. On top of it - I have a business trip thats coming up and I might miss the delivery and have my stuff be jacked before I come back! Terrible...terrible customer service! I have already submitted complaints to the USPS consumer affairs office in San Francisco and encourage you to do the same if something like this happens to you. I notified amazon and the local chamber of commerce of my experience. Stay away from this place if you can, pay a couple more bucks and have your stuff delivered through fed-ex or UPS....way better customer service!

The 24-hour Robot service is THE BEST! I drive over 20 min to this location because I know that the robot machine is sitting in this lobby 24/7 waiting for me. I have been there in middle of the night, on Sundays and holidays. I ALWAYS know I can mail any small package from the robot whenever I want - at my convenience and during emergencies. I notice the human staff oftentimes leave an abundant supply of Priority Mail and Express Delivery envelopes and boxes in the lobby, but I keep my own supply as a back-up. I also visit the robot during business hours to avoid the long lines. Why bother when you can be in and out in 5 min? Turns out, I dont need a human being to help me with my transaction. Me and this Amazing Machine can do it together <3 I can purchase stamp books, get Certified Mail service and buy extra Insurance on my packages. I wish all U.S. Post Office lobbies had this Amazing Robot Machine. Convenient. 24-hour. Automated. Touch screen. Self-Serve. And it even says "Thank you" at the end of my transaction. I love this service! <3 <3 <3 Whoever made that machine possible at the USPS is genius. This is MY kind of U.S. Post Office!

Terrible. I should have read the reviews first. My package was not delivered even though i paid for overnight express delivery. My item has since been lost for 4 days now. No one answers the phone here, ever. The corp number takes you through the auto-voice bullshit and it can take ATLEAST 20MINUTES to connect to a damn human being. From my experience, this national postal service company maybe, MAYBE, has 3 people working for them. I enjoy speaking with human beings and giving people a job. None the less, this service provider and specific MTV location is an absolute waste of time and money. I would much rather trust a random stranger whom has nothing to do, to deliver my package for me and i would pay them twice as much. Do not settle for cheap and useless. The USPS is nothing more than that.

Eddie always sticks his nose in the front counter ladies business, and is demeaning and condescending to the customer, me when he wasnt part of the transaction to begin with. hes always hanging around behind them judging and condemning transactions that takes thought and decision making by the ladies. Presenting valid ID upon request to the ladie Eddie walks up and tells her youre not going to accept that are you? Giati Kaun Tae! Of course the big boss over rides him and everything is fine but what an ass that i have to feel like a foreigner in my own country. I only see him act like that with white peolpe and never Asians as ive observed alot in there. The ladies are hit and miss with there attitudes. Sometimes the line is out the door on the street. Certainly not like the old post office.

Would give zero stars (negative stars?) if I could. A package being shipped to me has "undeliverable" status when I tracked it online. I called Amazon who went through the re-delivery process to have my package held for me to pick up. The response I got from the employee I spoke to included "I dont care what that says" referring to my USPS email with the re-delivery confirmation when telling me my package was not at this location and to contact the delivery center (ummm where? how?). He begrudgingly gave me a phone number to call. When I called, the phone rang without answer to the point where the phone disconnected automatically. I still dont know where the package is. At this point, why not just let USPS die and privatize all mailing services.

I ordered a bike through amazon with 2-day shipping. It was supposed to arrive on Tuesday but it couldnt come because the box couldnt fit in their truck. Okay, youre a mailing carrier and you cant support slightly over-sized boxes. Okay fair enough, then why did you accept the package in your custody! Then they said you need to pick it up, but guess what? I get a mail saying well deliver your package. The next day, it wasnt there yet! This time there was "a delay" so they said theyd use another branch to deliver my package tomorrow. Next day, still no clue where it is! They never pick up the phone. If you have a few minutes, try and see if you can select a different carrier when ordering something online.

Cons: - Might as well pretend phone isnt there. If youre still trying to call USPS in 2016 you clearly are new to the business - 5pm closing time means having to leave work early to get here - moderately long lines, but slow processing - dont bother with scheduling redelivery, save yourself the misery and just pick up the package yourself Pros: - Havent lost a package (yet) - If the redelivery slip says "available for pickup after (date)", then its actually there - Plenty of parking / bike racks - Employees arent the worst Ive seen out of all USPS offices - Dont know whats the complaint with pens, there seem to be a few for use whenever I go

worst post office ever. They attempted delivery on package requiring signature and I got a notification. Following their instructions I scheduled for redelivery for Saturday. Did not leave my house and they never showed up. I have been trying to call them all morning and it just rings for a couple of minutes and then they hang up on me (over and over again). worthless. And, they are now holding my sons Christmas present hostage. I called the main post office number who tracked it all in their system and confirms the ball was very much dropped by this branch. URGH!

There has to be a better way to get a passport then to go into the post office. Unfortunately the recorders office is fully booked until late April. I have been calling and calling to try to make an appointment and Its frustrating when USPS does not pick up. Why is the system so slow and inefficient?! Why is no one designated to pick up phone calls?!!! How can anyone come in by appointment only if theyre unable to get one! I dont see this happening to customers of Fed Ex or AAA...
