Unlike other reviews, I dont find this Post Office to be messy, disorganized OR uncooperative. There is rarely much of a line and it moves quickly. My frustration is there is no way to get through to them o the phone. Moorpark is a very small, quaint city and one of the benefits is so many local businesses are user-friendly. Ive lived here for 5 years and only once or twice needed to call the PO for a simple question. Forget it. The phone rings and rings forever. My other frustration is there is not a drive-by mailbox in the parking lot. There used to be one, and they got rid of it. There are 2 outside mailboxes however you must park your car and walk to them -- Whats up with that? Why not have the kind where you can drive up in your car, roll down your window, and pop your letters in the mail slot? Overall the place is convenient and friendly.

I received a slip in my mailbox saying I had a package to pick up at the Moorpark post office , it read office hours 9-5:30. I left work early in Camarillo to get to the post office in time. I arrived at 5:04. Walked into the post office, went thru one door, put my hand on the second door to be met by a postal worker who quickly pulled the door closed "with my hand on it" and abruptly said "we are closed" and locked the door. I said "are you kidding me?" She promptly pulled the shade down and left me standing there. I have now learned that they have the incorrect closing time on their pick up slips, and that they are very rude!!!

This is a small disorganized, dirty, messy Post Office that regularly has lines. They regularly lose your packages. They throw your packages & mail around like they are worthless garbage right in front of you & other people. The people working here are unprofessional, disorganized, and have no idea what they are doing. I would not recommend having items shipped to a PO BOX here (because they will lose them & take forever to find them that I can guarantee). The people working here do not understand the concept of customer service or they dont care. Avoid this Post Office & use the Thousand Oaks one instead.

The worst! Ever since our mailman Paul has been gone from this route the service is very up & down. Our mail goes to the neighbors (important things like bank statements!) our magazine today was absolutely obliterated due to the carrier stuffing a package (that should have been brought up to the porch! 10 steps!) anyhow the package was so stuffed into our box that the People magazine (not cheap) was ripped almost to the point of "lets just throw it away & buy a new one at Vons!" Thats inexcusable. Im sorry.

Attendants not very friendly and of absolutely no help when a package is lost which, by the way, happens on a regular basis. Tracking? What tracking? Its usually not in the system until after the package arrives and often doesnt even reflect where the shipment actually is. No wonder they are in dire straits as a business.

I went in their today i was the last one in their and some lady in dark long hair was rude she gave me attitude she had her bangs cut short blue eyes i did not like this place at all they made me feel uncomfortable first time anyone at any postal office has done to me bad experience

This is the post office so dont expect 5 star service. Its very small but in my experience the lines havent been too long. Good post office if you have what you want done and just want to pay for shipping.
