Often mail is simply not delivered for months with no notice to the customer, got mail in September for a wedding in August. Mail often in wrong boxes and then just stopped coming for 2 weeks, called customer service and she took my name an address but refused to give me ANY info as to why my mail had stopped, how to fix it and refused to look if I had any mail because the carrier was out, even though the carrier would not have my mail bc he/she just stopped delivery, then hung up on me and denied to her supervisor that I asked for my mail and for solutions. This is by far the rudest, most incompetent PO I have ever seen, no one knows anything and genuine concerns are dismissed as if youre inconveniencing them. Supervisor couldnt care less and they refuse to give their names so you can formally complain about the attitude and poor service. I get things happen and mistakes but thats no excuse for poor customer relations I wish I could give negative stars.

The ladies at the PO in Lake Stevens have always been nice to me but there was a time where I ordered some pretty pricey lip gloss and it said it was delivered but there was nothing in the parcel locker, they left me a key but there was no package for me, and that happened last November (16) its now March 17 and who the heck knows what happened to my lip gloss. Maybe they put the key in the wrong mailbox, maybe my neighbors decided to keep my lip gloss (Merry Christmas to you if thats the case awesome neighbor!) But who really knows; all i know is I spent $45 bucks on lip gloss to have never received it; the lip gloss company didnt care too much to do anything, I mean why would they? It was confirmed delivered by USPS. Anyway besides the case of the missing lip gloss, Ive gotten a lot of my neighbors mail and vice versa so that was also another problem. But it has gotten better. I do prefer to drop off my packages at the PO at Bartells, its closer anyway.

My mail is constantly late or delivered to the wrong house. I often receive my neighbors packages, which means that I have to do the postmans job and walk down to the persons house to place them at their doorstep. My diploma was way late, bent and damaged when it said on the envelope "do not bend." My specialty magazines are almost always folded in half. I have lost money from my gift cards being delivered to the wrong houses and have been missing other mail. Some of my packages have come opened or appeared to be opened and then sloppy re-taped again with scotch tape. My relatives receive cards that I mail them late, even if I send them ahead of time. Im greatly disappointed with the mail service here and I dont think that its going to ever improve. Ive lived here for nineteen years and it has always been bad, possibly even worse now.

The Lake Stevens mail carrier is something else. When I can see that a package left at 1020 am and I dont get it until 7 and yes sometimes Ive gotten mail after 7, I wonder what they do all day long.. everyone in my neighborhood gets each others mail and its becoming a serious problem. I was suppose to receive a package on Saturday and it said it was delivered in my box and it wasnt. Which means its sitting somewhere else or not delivered at all. I have witness the mail carrier drop mail off three times in one day before. It is very frustrating to have such bad service. I hope something can happen, because the people in Lake Stevens deserve better postal service then this.

I continue to receive a lot of the last residents mail almost a year after, including voting ballots and other first class mail. There has been three change of address processes completed; I have spoken with the carrier multiple times; filled out the new resident card when we moved in: posted a bright pink label with our name on it; and spoke with the postmaster himself. Ive also put in package pickup requests to "ring doorbell" when stormy outside and they not only didnt come, they admitted to completely skipping our house and falsely marking it as "picked up" in the system because they "didnt have time to wait at the door". Very unprofessional all around.

oh my gosh, this place has the worst customer service ever! The man that answered the phone was so impatient and then hung up on me because I was asking questions...i was just trying to find my lost package...and this is not the first encounter with them. My carrier on the other hand is the nicest person ever! So sorry to her for the one star but Im just tired of being treated this way for no reason. I was not rude until he was, excuse me for wanting to know how to track my package that I already paid quite a bit of money for. Oh and his comment after me telling him my call was transferred from the main office was "yea, of course they did(transfer me)" wow!

They lost a package, the tracking claimed that "an attempt" was made for delivery. Never delivered. Called every week for several weeks to try to find the package. A person at the Post Office said the driver accidentally clicked "attempt made to deliver" when she actually left it on the porch. NO PACKAGE was delivered. Come to find out 6 weeks after the initial "Attempt to deliver" the package was returned with an undeliverable address to the sender. The address is correct! Obviously it was never "Left on the porch". The worst experience.

Made a complaint about mail carrier not accepting returned mail, suddenly she decided to get even with me and start tampering with my mail by telling some senders my mail is "undeliverable" while telling others I dont live at this address. She made up two separate lies (first was claiming a mysterious note left in our box told her not to deliver my mail, then she changed her story claiming they received a mysterious phone call stating I dont live at this address.) Everyone at this office should be fired and replaced.

I live in the Granite Falls but Ill the mail go from the lake Stevens post office and last month in November I bought a two items from the eBay parts for iPad in the trucking number says be delivered to my house I check my mailbox every day Its not in there and right now its December and I lost another item every time I try to make a call their phone number nobody never pick the phone up its mean somebody stealing my mail one of the workers of the post office Lake Stevens

As of now a Worst rating is called for. On a 4th re-delivery request? I havent seen worse delivery. C/O means "Care of" a resident. Yet 2 times, returned to sender Tip of the iceburg. Apartment managers can do nothing. The problem is at the OFFICE. Most UN-professional group. ONCE we had a sub: and I had mail like I used to. But disabled? You are SOL. End of list. Bedbound? Expect zero. In the hospital? Garaunteed it will be sent back like you died or something.

If you want "postal service" in Lake Stevens, go to the Bartells PO annex. They are knowledgeable, friendly, provide great customer service and the lines are usually not that long. Unlike the experiences with the LS Post Office, it is a pleasure to visit Bartells. Of course one has to endure the horrible home delivery service from our local Post Office unless you use UPS/FedEx/DHL, etc. But at least mailing in person can be a pleasurable experience.
