I placed a call today to our local country post office in Ravensdale, WA and spoke with Miss Doreen about a late package I was concerned about. Very friendly and eager to help. I got a detailed update and was invited to call back if there were any further questions. Ive ordered a number of live plants over the last 4 months that FedEx has shuffled thru the Seattle area for an entire week before finally getting to my local USPS for delivery. FedEx never gets packages to my post office in time to make the daily USPS truck. Yet this Ravensdale, WA USPS crew is always willing to dig my plants out of the back and get them to me so I can get them the care they need after FedEx has held them hostage traveling from Seattle to Auburn to Tacoma to Algona and then finally to my local USPS. Thank you Ravensdale USPS crew! Nicely done! BTW, I know the rude, power tripping person being referred to. Ding dong the witch is gone. Give them another shot now to restore your faith in this crew!! My mail just arrived and package is delivered, on time as stated. Substitute driver may be struggling with a new route but she is getting it done. Kudos!!

The employee are nice however the mail carrier will not drop packages at my door even though I literally like on the main road. No biggie BUT when I go to my PO box 9 or of 10 times my package isnt in a locker, it has a slip where I have to pick up at the counter. This post office is very very very slow. I have waited in line for over 30 minutes multiple times simply to retrieve my package. They need to make someone available to help people who just need their mail vs making them wait behind 5 people with packages to mail and whatnot. Its ridiculous and its every single time, and I have literally no choice but to deal with it because the mailman wont drop to my house and UPS now passes off a good amount of packages to USPS so theres just lo way around it.

This is THE best post office around! Rarely have I had to stand in line for long ... usually during the holiday season. ALL of the staff have been very friendly and courteous. However, I consider this post office a "best kept secret" compared to some others Ive visited ... so maybe I shouldnt give it a great review. Now, everyone will be coming here! So ... uh, I take it back ... dont go here! ;)

New Manager/employee is rediculously rude. This is a small two window post office and this lady is on some kind of power trip. Hopefuly she wont last long.
