This post office branch barely makes the cut for "okay" -- the people who work there are unfriendly and unreasonable, and completely unwilling to help you out an extra inch in any way. Today I showed up at 4:58 to send out a package and three letters. The lady had just locked the door and was headed to the back door. People were still standing in line. I asked the lady through the door why it was that at 4:58 she wouldnt let me in to send out a package. She ignored me and hid behind the package she was wrapping. I asked again and she gave me a bitchy, heartless look, showed me her phone that said 5:00 on it and told me with shrugged shoulders that it was too late, then proceeded to completely ignore me while everyone else inside did the same. Unreal! How F**ing hard is it to open the door when its 4:58???!!! By the time the whole scene was over I could have already walked in, sent my package, made the post office some money, and everyone would have been happy. What do they gain on their power trip by hearing me complain on the other side of the door?! What they got was a FULL piece of my mind through the glass before I left. 5pm means 5pm doors locked. NOT 4:55 doors locked, IDIOTS! Shame on you guys.

The people serving here are so rude I couldnt even believe it! The one older woman with shoulder length blonde hair pretty much yelled at two people including myself just for trying to ask a question. I realized her window was technically closed but my god you cant just answer politely? There is another lady with longer brown hair too who was so eager to finish her day that she also couldnt be bothered to remember she is actually in a position where she is supposed to be providing customer service, telling me to read the sign when I pointed out that on Saturdays their window says they close at 5pm when they actually close at 4pm. Really put me in a bad mood having to deal with them, will avoid going there again.

I have had no problem at this post office. True the staff is not a chatty bunch. I have also been sent away from the desk when I missed a form. The times I do go there are very busy. While having to get out of line and start fresh was no fun for me, Im sure those waiting were happy to avoid another delay. Kind of hard to blame them for my mistake. JMO - If the hours are posted incorrectly on the website the complaint should go to the webmaster so it can be fixed. I doubt it is handled in the individual locations.

Worse service anywhere. No visible manager. They act as if they are doing you a favor. The guy named Ed never says hello or never smiles nor says thank you. They talk down to you and act like youre stupid if you dont know something or ask a question. Always open late and close early. Today they couldnt accept cash. Hello?? whose running this place. The other women there are just as unfriendly. We have other choice to ship our parcels with in case they didnt know that???

This is a perfectly good post office. Nothing fancy, although the building is cool and vintage. Adequate parking, easy drive-up letter drop (although I wish they had a drop for larger packages). My only gripe is the hours--its pretty much impossible for me to go here on workdays (I have a 9-5 job). Weekend hours help. The lines are usually pretty manageable, though, and the employees are helpful.

Horrible! I went over around 5:00 to mail a package that was a few days late. Aparently, their hours changed a month ago and theyre closing at 5pm now, even though the website and every other resource says 5:30 (including the last time I went there). Go to the one on Kester, their service is better, anyway. Should have done that in the first place.

Making a return and needed a small strip of tape to seal the box. I got a ride response of "we dont have tape. Only scotch tape which wont work for that. You can buy packing tape." Never have I ever had a post office not readily offer a piece of packing tape.

Thats funny. Im an Ebay seller as well & this location is one of my favorites. Out of the 100s of packages Ive sent, Ive never had a problem with this location (or any other post office location, now that I think about it). Amazing! (Thank you USPS!)

Incredibly rude lack of customer service. Ed was disinterested in serving me and cancelled my order 3 times to pass me over for other customers while I was trying to set up a PO Box. He then had me go wait in line again each time! Very unimpressed.

Terrible unfriendly staff who wont help you even if they could, which they cant; they dont have the people, materials or anything else to do the job right. Probably not their fault but the worst USPS experiences of my life are all at this branch.

this is the worst USPS i believe in the valley , im a eBay top seller , and i just recontly moved to studio city few weeks ago and this location is the worst, filipina lady that works there is so rude!!! dont help at all!

Place is Clean, no hobos pan handling outside the door. Customer service is concise, no rudeness encountered. Im just in, stand in line, get my stuff done and get out. Gotten stamps and sent packages out. No problems.

It is 4:53 pm and the office is closed already. Every single sign states they are open until 5pm. I had to send off one basic letter and I was very mad they closed early.
