I wish there was a way to give them zero stars. The counter people were incredibly rude. They responded to my very average request with something ridiculous, then got an attitude with me because they were too incompetent to do their job. Print out a specified amount in metered postage? How dare I expect a postal worker to do this! Oh wait, they can do this at every other post office except this one? Right. Complete and utter incompetence, then bullying and name calling (Im not making this up, they literally laughed at me and called me a name because I questioned their brilliant idea to put $17 worth of first class stamps as opposed to printing out metered postage) to cover up their laziness and ineptitude. Im not sure you can ever match this location for terrible service.

There is ALWAYS a lot of people, a long line, and its usually short on staff, many customers take it out on the workers but it isnt their fault, many people should realize that theyre just doing their job and if you have a problem you need to take that up with the manager. The staff/ people here arent the kindest but its mostly because theyre always getting complaints and Im sure theyre tired of it. Honestly gave this place 3 stars because Ive seen worse, in different areas, sure it isnt the best, and surely it can improve but overall it is ok.

Terrible service! Its no wonder the USPS is going out of business. The local number they provide is useless. NOONE EVER answers the phone. Our usual mail carrier is on vacation, and the guy covering doesnt seem to think he has to deliver the mail to our building during this time. Going on the third day with no mail. Totally unacceptable. I did call the toll free number also, but you have to fill out a complaint form and WAIT, apparently just to receive as slow of service as the carrier is providing. Disgusting.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I shipped a package to a Santa Monica address with contents worth around $500 and the package has sat at the post office for over a week. When I finally got a supervisor number from the main USPS phone number, they just constantly ignore it. They will not deliver it, will not return it and USPS as a whole has done nothing to alleviate the issue. Ive started two cases, an insurance claim and a BBB case and still nothing has been done. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

This place is so dingy and dirty, si are the characters working there. The middle aged Latin lady employee charged me for stamps, but forgot to give them to me even after I asked her if she forgot something. I left and realized that she ripped me off, came back and asked for my stamps. She got all defensive and asked me for the receipt, then yelled at me get out of here. What a trash!

Today there was a line outside the door at around 3 PM, with only 2 clerks working. Inexplicably, one of the clerks leaves and doesnt return. The other clerk explained to me that she was taking her lunch break. At 3 PM. With a line literally out the door. Congress should allow FedEx and UPS to carry US mail, that would break these lazy idiots out of their stupor.

They have lost my package. It was insured and placed into prepaid bin...only it is not a bin, but a space on one of their counters, accessible by anyone who enters. Mind you it could have been customer as well as an employee who swiped the small Express mail padded envelope. Be sure to make them scan your items before you leave.

We are having problem with our mails lately. Incoming billing invoices are not reaching us. Vendors calling for their checks when in fact we already mail out their checks. These are only the few problem we are having with postal service in our area. We are spending more stop payment charges for checks lately.

My mail is constantly being opened!!! I live in an apartment and need a key to access my mailbox. I called and filed a report but since nothing was stolen (nobody sends cash through the mail anymore) theres nothing they can do. Anything that resembles a birthday card or xmas card gets opened. Its pretty sad.

Central SM post office with no parking accept always packed metered street parking. Even if youll be lucky to find a parking by a meeter, you might get a ticket because lines at the post office might be astronomical. The workers are extremely slow and understaffed. Shame!

The level of service is simply unacceptable. I came up for the passport appointment and waited for someone to appear for 30 minutes. I called them standing right in the building - they dont bother picking up the phone. Thats by far the worst USPS ever
