Please look at the "positive reviews" here, they are all CLEARLY factitious. They all say basically the same thing, are written the same way, and mention the same "helpful" employes by their correctly spelled names over and over. If youve ever read a group of REAL reviews, you know that review style varies greatly from person to person. Some long, some short, some with good grammar, others not so much, etc. Please look at their Yelp page, as yelp has a much higher algorithm for weeding out FAKE reviews and where this location has a pitiful 1.5 stars and scathing messages. Its too late for us but please, please do not do business with this location. That deal you think you are getting? Complete trap to get your unit full of things so you would have to pay hundreds to switch facilities. They substantially up your costs once they have you helpless. I understand the concept of an introductory price. Yes, Ive heard of them before. But we were absolutely not told in any shape or form and still can not find mention of it in their ads. It is extremely hard to find because they do not want you to know about it. If we had known, we would have went with a moderate, permanent price elsewhere. YOU WILL END UP PAYING MORE THAN THEY MAKE YOU BELIEVE AND YOU WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL THE MONEY IS OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. DO NOT RENT HERE! FINANCIAL HORROR STORY!

My first time ever coming to Extra Space Storage I had an amazing experience. Walking in the door my first impression was very clean and was welcomed by Gerardo Morales with a welcoming smile, there was also a very refreshing scent of coconut and mango compliments of the manager. They helped answer all of my questions found the best storage unit that fit my needs and gave me the best price that beat other competitors. Before signing any agreements Gerardo took me out to look at my storage unit. This had to be the best part we went out in a golf cart to look at my unit. I have to say I have never left a storage facility feeling so at ease and knowing that I am in good hands. I will highly recommend this place they know what true customer service is and care about you first as a person and secondly as a customer. Thank you Gerardo I appreciate you and Extra Space Storage!

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with Extra Space Storage here in Pico Rivera! The staff are wonderful! Vincent, the Manager and assistants Ariel and Gerardo are great too! The location Freeway close, secure and has clean bathrooms! The staff are professional and pleasant and are always ready to help. This is it the best storage company I have used to date. Extra Space Storage prices are great and the staff our customer service oriented! I cant say enough about them, you gotta give them a call, better yet come by and check out their location and ask them about their specials. I will not go to any other storage facility after this and plan to be a long-term Customer because of their reasonable rates! Berinda Bahnam

I needed a place to store some furniture until I found my own place. Luckily Extra Space Storage had a unit that would easily fit my needs. Lynn Hollada, the store manager, hooked me up right away! She was curious and helpful every time I forgot the pin to the gate. If your looking for a safe place to store anything, this is the place. One night during their nightly walk through a, they noticed I was missing one of my locks, which I inadvertently forgot to lock, and they called me to notify me one was missing. Lynn is great. Ask for her.

We recently got an unit in this store facility that guy that help us jerry (Gerardo Morales) was very very nice helpful professional he explain everything in detail and makes us feel comfortable and secure about making the right choice.The place is well maintain clean and very secure he mention they were updating units we got one updated therefore im really happy but i really love the customer service he was ready with answers to our many questions and knowledgeable about his profession that put me an ease overall great experience

The staff is friendly and always available to answer any questions I have about future rentals. Jonathan is always willing to help me find a new unit when my business is growing and I need a bigger unit. Magali was a big help going over the contract and letting me know when my payments where going to be due. Ariel keeps the facilities clean and always says hello. The manager has learned my personal business needs and lets me know when units or parking spaces come available that would make my business run easier.

I wasnt sure what storage place I wanted to rent from so I wanted to scope out a few before I picked the right one. I visited self storage and public storage and Extra space was the lay one on the list . When I visited the slauson site I fell in love so easy to get to and the staff were great very friendly and Extra helpful . I made my decision and Im picking extra space ! I would definitely be renting for a while here and referring all of my friends and family members to rent here .

Where do I start, I was looking for a place to store a bunch of my "unecessary junk" as my wife likes to call it and I just so happen to stop by this place which was amazing. Your staff is amazing Vince went above and beyond to make sure I would get the right size storage which the one I needed was massive to store all of my stuff !!!! It seems the staff keeps everything clean and orderly Rene was also a great deal of help I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family !

Moving has always been a challenge. I try not to have to much junk to were I dont need a storage unit, but this time around I needed one. Esmeralda, one of the staff members displayed great professionalism and courtesy the entire process of getting my storage unit. Characteristics, that are hard to find nowadays. I really appreciate the easy process along with the positive attitude of Esmeralda and the other female staff member, I did not get a chance to ask her name.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY !! After reading some other reviews about stolen property here, I now question if their employee Lynn simply "threw away" my property. I now believe it was more like stealing it. I most DEFINITELY know she lied about NOT seeing the note attached to my property stating "Please keep here. Ill be back". So I certainly believe she would have no problem with just stealing it. If I could, I would give them ZERO stars.

I have been using Extra Space storage for years! I moved to Whittier and needed a location closer to my home. I was able to secure my space online and when I came into the office to finalize the process, it took no more than 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and the facility is extremely well kept! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for short or long term storage space.

I really like the fact that you can go on extended hours to get your storage even if the office is closed. Only with your password to get in the place. Staff are very friendly and you can pay your storage by email, phone or in person. I think is a great storage. I recomend it to everybody. I have had storages before and they are not as good as this one. very affordable and nice.
