On 13 May, 2013, I mailed a medical CD to a radiologist in Indianapolis; 1st class package from the Pismo Beach PO. The clerk told me he put a tracking number on it (an additional $.90). When I got home and attempted to "track" the package I got a message stating, "Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office." ¶ Four days later (16 May), still unable to track the package on this website, I returned to the Post Office to see it THEY could track it. I was immediately informed by woman behind the counter with short blond hair, and gold-rimmed glasses, that it would not be possible to track the package because, "the computer is down". Hmmm, it WAS NOT DOWN for another package that I tracked on the 13th, and I was able to re-track it after I got home this morning. I asked her when the computer went down, and she replied, "a few days ago". I said, "Knowing that the tracking computer was down, the window clerk sold me the tracking service? Id like my $.90 back then please." No deal. ¶ The final insult came when she said, "Dude, computers go down! It happens". She must be, at least, in her fifties, and Im well into my sixties (and look it) and I wasnt wearing my cap on backwards ...addressing a postal patron, especially one with a problem, as "Dude" just doesnt cut it, and shows a lack of concern and professionalism on the part of the USPS. Is it any wonder theyre losing billions of dollars? In this case, my "quality" rating does not EVEN approach "Fair". ¶ NOTE TO GOOGLE - Fix this text editor so that PARAGRAPHS may be used.

Im so very tired of others mail in my mailbox . "we have a new driver or we have had complaints about that driver!"...fire those people who cannot get the mail in the correct box. We receive medications in the mailbox and I can only wonder when we havent got them where they delivered somewhere else and if the people that my stuff may go to will be honest enough to return it or just throw it away? I also get packages are they going to someones elses home? Do you job ,take a little more time to ensure the mail goes to the correct address!!!!

Ive had 2 packaged "lost" or "stollen" in the past week and when I call to get information on them they say they will call me back and I dont hear from them until I call back to remind them about it. And when I do I usually never get my package and have to order new product.

It all depends on who is helping you. There are some ladies who are helpful, there is one guy who likes to follow the rules to the extreme, somewhat annoying and there is one guy who is useless, I try to avoid him at all costs.

I have lived in three states. This is the worst postal service to date. They lost my drivers license , new debit card and the list goes on. They put stuff in the wrong mailbox #%&%

I had a package arrive for me a week ago on the 27th and they sent it back to Santa Ana.....and the tracking information shows it as lost...kinda annoying.
