The last time I was at Aamco was in the late 60s!!! I swore I would never return. When I found out that NO ONE would work on the make and type of vehicle I own...... except Aamco (other than a dealer), I was NOT happy about taking my car there, but I did, with the full expectation of a law suit to follow. WOW! was I wrong. The people working there NOW, are wonderful! From Lance at the front desk, to Adrian (shop Mgr), to Victor (an "ace" mechanic), these guys figured out a problem that THREE other shops could not find.....and they did it in ONE DAY. I will not hesitate to return, or to recommend them to anyone. This shop is NOW the type of shop that you wouldnt be afraid to send your wife or daughters to. And, to all of you guys out there......you KNOW what Im talking about. This shop is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. However, they may very well be the BEST in all of the Inland Empire! Kudos to all you guys at Riverside Aamco, and the incredible 180 youve done!

Its good but they rip you off I took my truck in because I needed a transmission fluid change and it was a trick well they said something was wrong with it so they took it apart it cost me a thousand two hundred years for them to take off and check after that all of a sudden my car needed the brain and the parts for coming out and the whole thing was coming out to 3812 no thank you just put it back together reinstall it you know where they have to pay the 1200 so they did when I went to go pick it up it just all of a sudden did not put in gear I asked him whats going on and they said oh by the way it doesnt work no more I said I brought him running I want to take it or anything like what we can do for you as toilet on the house I said no I want it running so they kind of had a fit about it but they did take it in and theyre going to see what they can do 1200 they need to do something

I took my car in to this aamco for service after my check light came on for their free diagnostic. The free test stated I needed another standard $200 test they need to do. (So much for the FREE test). The $200 test showed nothing wrong. They refused to refund my $200. The owner in fact argued in front of me with the person who was helping me as to why they didnt do more unecessary work. We both said if it didnt need it, why should I pay for more work? The owner said the problem was there and would come back unless I got more work. Guess what? Its been over 2 months and my car is still fine. They also screwed up my friends car who went there the same time as I did. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE OUT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.

The owner is fabulous and very involved with the local community. This is huge in my opinion as a local business owner myself! Lance the Manager is AWESOME and VERY knowledgeable. They have fixed my Suburban and it is now better than ever! I cant say enough good things about them! I highly encourage anyone looking for a shop that stands behind their work to bring their cars, trucks, and SUVs to AAMCO in Riverside! Thank You Guys! I had a horrible experience with H & L Transmission in Riverside. They rebuilt my transmission 2 times and were complete failures. I was fortunate to know that there was an AAMCO in Downtown Riverside and I knew of their excellent reputation.

I found this place by random google and made a phone call after I had engine check light on and was turned down by another mechanical with the problem code 700 and 715. Adrian answered and offered a free test. At that time I thought I would either dump the car or pay over $500 to fix the engine and transmission. After two to three hours test, Adrian called me it would cost $311 to fix the transmission problem. I was glad to allow him to go ahead to fix it. It turned out to be a better price when he found the job was easier and gave me a discount of $59. Very professional and honest! I will definitely recommend them to others!

Theyre only out to get as much money as they can get from you. After a diagnostic they informed me I needed a new engine which for my car was in supply and demand cost about $12,000 easily. Found out later on while trying to sell my car that it was never my engine but my fuel pump that was the problem. An easy fix for about $200. Also they sabotaged my car to further convince me.Taking out my spark plugs and all. Due to my lack of knowledge on cars had I went through with it I wouldve lost so much money. Check with multiple places before you make a decision.

Andy and Lance were awesome to deal with. Everyone should have such a great experience. They went above and beyond when it came to fixing my daughters vehicle, providing the best customer service Ive ever had when dealing with car repair. Thank you for making (and keeping) me smile. :0) Guys, if you dont hear it often, I appreciate all your efforts and hard work. Kudos to the team you represent! You definitely will have more of my business, and hopefully the business of others reading this, and of my friends and family. Thanks again. Sincerely,

I had the same experience as the previous user. The initial diagnostic was free, but was immediately followed by a recommendation for a $200 test. When I asked a mechanic friend about the error codes, he said that that usually indicates that the gas cap is not screwed on all the way. He also said that anyone who worked on cars would know that. Sure enough, that was the case. Aamco would have charged at least $200 for the same information.

I havent been here since 2010 and I was dreading bringing my car back because my last experience was just terrible. However, after getting my car back last week I have to admit that this shop did a total 180! Adrian, service manager, is awesome. Hell patiently help you out with whatever trouble-shooting you need done. I’ll definitely be bringing in my BMW here instead of the stealer-ship next time.
