I went to the store #0790 to get a starter since I have lifetime warranty on it they didnt have it so Brian called the San Bernardino store to check they did have it so we can go and pick it up they did so when we get there they wanted me to buy it when I had lifetime warranty on it I demand to talk to the manager IMMANUEL J. Came and was helping us he ask were did we get the starter it was Las Vegas because our car broke down over their so he said to go back to Vegas! To get it replaced for my car with and attitude like if he doesn’t want to be there,so I told him you have and attitude let me talk to ur manager he said he was the manager I knew that he has lying a manager is not going to be care less needs to have good customer service. So I called the Rialto store talk to Brian again and he said there was no reason for him not to change my starter but IMMANUEL J. Was awful and rude had no manners to be helping me so I decided to buy the starter and go to the Rialto store where Brian help me with everything But I still think that people like IMMANUEL J. shouldnt be working if they don’t like there job .Store # is 608

It is 5/25/17 Came to pep boys at 730pm and was told it was too late for a tire patch by the rep at the service desk & was told I can buy The product to patch my own tire and do it myself. I didnt realize that that was Pep Boys policy and its pretty messed up that your employees would actually allow your customer to take off in a doughnut tire when youre standing there with a flat one asking for some help willing to pay whatever it takes. So I took my tire and money V&L auto on the corner of Baseline & Sierra down the street & they patched my damn tire for $10 bucks in 15 minutes. I had to tip the guy $10. This Pep Boys in San Bernardino is the epitome of why you should keep your money and small businesses locally because corporations like this can care less about their clients. I dont expect a response from management if their weakest employee is an example of the strongest. You are only as strong as your weakest link. I have worked for banks and cell phone companies and couldnt believe a corporation as large as pep boys would turn on Customer way 30 minutes before closing.

This company believes ordinary people are stupid. If I could score this Pep Boys located on E. Street San Bernardino they would be receiving failing grade. This is the summarization. Work on my wifes car was unsatisfactory reasons are listed below: 1. Wrong Weight Of Oil. Didnt follow instruction from the customer. 2. When brought to the attention of this management Did Not Care... 3. No Solutions offered by this company. Total Runaround.... In closing be Very Cautious of This Type of Treatment and Service From This Company. PS. Jeff, Shawn, Corey and Lisa my recommendations for your growth please obtain the following Trainings: ALL OF YOU WILL NEED EXTENSIVE PEOPLE SKILLS TRAINING ; 1 AND 2, after you have completed these training the mostly outcome will be is all four of you will need to move on to another profession. Terrible experience. There was a gentleman named Cory and I cant understand how he has a job still. I went in to get my tire checked out, he said they have no time can i come back tomorrow with an irritable and flustered tone. I said i needed it asap and would I like him to call another pepboys, so I said yes. Well instead of doing that he gets on the phone with the printer company and goes on about how its not working. Instead of helping a customer out, he was more concerned with the printer. I called myself and ended up driving to rialto on a bad tire to the nearest pepboys.

Gary the "manager " disconnected my speedometer and temperature gauge. When I told him about it he sent me on my way with my car stalling. Went to corporate about the guy and they said he had 20 people this year sent to other shops. He has a workload he doesnt want so he messes up ur car and sends it to the Redlands store. Those guys even complain about him. One bad apple I know but I almost had to go to court over this. Pep Boys should be wiser with whom they put in positions of power. Still thinking of reporting this garage to the DMV

This place is the biggest rip off. I came in January for a Royal Purple Oil chang for my 2007 Silverado. 3 months later my truck is acting up and so I take it to The dealership to see whats wrong. The service man tells me that there isnt any oil showing up on the dipstick. I come back here and they tell me that my Truck must of burned through it. A 2007 Chevy Silverado burning through 4 quarts of oil in a 3 month period? I will never suggest this place to anyone nor will I ever come back.

Friendly service, I did call and schedule an appointment for a particular day in advance. When I arrived he did not see it in the scheduling system. There was only one car ahead of me and since I purchased my own oil change products the cost wasnt severe. 4 stars for customer service and prompt realisation there was a mistake on their part for not having me on schedule when one was made over the phone, and knocking off a couple bucks. I recommend this PepBoys.

This place has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. I had an appointment at 12 :00 pm today and an old white guy that works at the front counter was extremely rude. He spoked to me in a disparaging manner as if I was beneath him. I was so displeased with the customer sevice that I left. He does not need to be working there if he doesnt like his place of employment. I would never reccomend or return to this place.

Was very disappointed bad customer service so I took my car earlier today 11:45 a.m. to get an engine diagnosis the man signing me and said theres a few cars ahead of me but your car will be done by 5 so I called at 4:30 to check on it he said theyre behind on work from the Cars prior days and to leave my car overnight I only get one day off of work week it was inconvenient he tried to make it seem like it was my fault for not planning ahead

Customer service is terrible! I have gone to pep boys for several yrs now, this location, rialto, & fontana these 3 locations, sb and rialto r the worst, not only did they over charge me but didnt even make me feel comfortable to ask questions. YES Im a female, NO in dont know car mechanics, so YES I have questions on why and how I need to spend hundreds of dollars I dont have...unfortunately this location is near home

Took my car in a while back to get an oil change and replace my wiper blades. The next morning I went to use my wiper blades and noticed that they never put the new ones on. I went in after work and explained the situation to the manager Cory and he took care of me right away and he even gave me a free oil change for the next service on my car! Thanks Cory for looking out for your customers!
