I dont know who wrote the previous review. I dont see how it could be anyone but someone who works there. I have always gone to Uptown cleaners but since Mission Cleaners is closer to my house I recently started going there. The guy who usually is at the counter has a horrible attitude and actually told me that they couldnt put a button on a pair of pants (a simple button) I took the pants to a different cleaners where they didnt have a problem putting a button on for 3$. I looked past this Im not that picky as longg as they do a good job on the work they do thats all I cared about. Then they fixed a small hole on one of my grey dress shirts with, not grey material but black and white making the repair blatently obvious. I should have learned then, but they are so close to my house I went there again. My wife and I dropped off 2 blouses and 1 pair of pants. 1 blouse needed 4 buttons and one needed a small sewing repair. They quoted me $30 so I said OK fix them. I just went to pick them up and they charged me $65 dolars. I didnt have anything special done just a dry 3 dry cleans 4 buttons and a small repair. I should have cost $20 anywhere else. They tricked me on the price and then held the clothes hostage unless I gave them $35 dollars over what they quoted me. I am very upset. Not just about the money but its the whole situation. The guys bad attitude who has said they cant fix a few things that other cleaners have fixed with no problem, the mis-quote, etc. Unfortunatly there is nothing I can do but write this and not give them my business. I am not going to take them to small claims court for $35 and I am not going to fight with the guy. He was firm about his decision and has been so stubborn in the past I know there is no use. You if you are reading this far, as a Hillcrestian, should not support people like this. I am not saying they never have done a good job on my clothes, but they have horrible customer service and I now realize they are crooks. If they would have called me and said it was going to be another $35 dollars I would have had no problem with it. If you keep going there, regardless of how close you live or how good of a job you think they do (which I dont see how you could) dont be suprised when they ask for an extra $30 whatever fee and wont give you your clothes until you pay it. If you want to support local, good intentioned, Hillcrest businesses, there are 4 other dry cleaners within a couple blocks. One more thing, If you get your clothes dry cleaned next door at the laundrymat, they just take them to Mission Dry Cleaners to get them done. Upset Hillcrest Consumer.

This is my favorite dry cleaning company up in the Mission Hills/Hillcrest area. The Rodriguez family and their team has a way of always getting our dry cleaning finished as soon as possible, and my requests are many times for next day service! They are so friendly, know me by name, and often when they see my car drive by, they already have my cleaning hanging out in front before I walk through the door! Rosie, Adrian, David, and Elias are amazing people that will always put a smile on your face!

Just like the guy below they didnt wanna sew a single button on my pants. I gave up on this place quick. I use to live close to shelter Island and the cleaner (shelter Island cleaners) there did an awasome job...but since I moved closer to the stadium I have to find a good palce here.
