Ive came here a number of times due to its central location and fairly reasonable prices. But the last couple times, not only was I disappointed with the quality of their cleaning but ended up having to put in some elbow grease after to clean off additional streaks, fibers (they even left thick smudges on the inside of the windshield from who knows what). These are minor things but let me get to the main problem. They recently switched to an entirely new car wash system that isnt even "touch free" anymore (see pics). Not only is this new washing system harsh as hell on your vehicles exterior but it torn off both of the rooftop weather strips completely. To make things worse, I didnt even notice this until I drove home only to find one of the weather strips lying in the back of the truck bed (must have been dangling or something and their employees tossed it back there). First off, this is a brand spanking new ride with barely any mileage. Ive owned numerous cars over the years and not once have I experienced this issue with any other car wash. None of the employees had the courtesy to let me know about this either. Come on, how do you not notice a piece of strip that just barely came off and was lying around during the wipe down process (they had to climb into the bed to clean the top of the truck), including some remains of the rubber/sticky residue on the rooftop that definitely looked like it was freshly torn off. At least have the courtesy to mention something about this! I had to waste an additional hour of my time just to drive back and retrieve the other piece that went missing somewhere in the washing bay. They put everything back but at this point, the strips are loosely in place and not even securely intact. I asked them to use double sided tape to keep it more secure so it doesnt blow off on the freeway but all they said was they dont have any and didnt offer a single remedy for this (not even a courtesy wash for the next return, refund, etc.). And from this bad experience, not a single one of the staff offered any sincere apology and made no attempt to keep me as a customer that will come back. All they said was that the manager was out that day and told me to come back the next morning. I left my number with one of the staff, which said Ill get a call the following day (been 2 days already). Well, you lost the chance as I was willing to wait and see how this would be dealt with before writing this negative review. Ive read many of the responses from the owner to the negative reviews and have doubt that theyll be willing to do anything at all. Many of the responses were nothing but insults thrown towards all of the disappointed customers (which I am expecting as well after submitting this review). So much for professionalism... Be warned!

CUSTOMER BE WARNED - OVER PRICING This place is under renovation. The guy who walked up to my car on Sunday, April 27th tried to upsell me to a Super Wash. I said NO because I knew they could only provide the hand wash (since the car wash "tunnel" was down due to renovations) - no under carriage wash, no wax sealant etc... They barely even wash your car as it is with the hand wash. I had to take my car to the Chervon Gas Station next door to remove bird poop from from windshield - not sure how they missed that ???? I asked the guy taking the orders why he would try to sell me the $18.99 Super Wash when they could not provide all the services?? I said I want the $12.99 hand wash - he just turned away and returned with a "Hand Written" receipt. When I went to the cashier they tried to charge me $14.99. After a few minutes and a brief conversation the cashier finally took my $12.99. Both the man taking the orders and the casher had ZERO personality and really didnt seem to care that they were trying to rip me off!!! Another customer in line overheard my conversation and asked me about the pricing. That customer actually turned their car around and left (cant blame them). I also spoke with three other customers who were still waiting in their cars, they called the guy back over and asked to have their receipts revised to the lower priced $12.99 hand wash. Come on Uptown - you can do better than this - Its not right to take advantage of the customer!!!! I previosuly said I would not return (based on poor customer service).... this time I really mean it !!! No more second chances. On another note: You might want to asked you spanish speaking employees to watch what they say and to keep their conversations "out of the gutter". Just because I dont look hispanic does not mean that I do not speak and understand spanish. Buh Bye!!!!!

We need a zero star rating. First the name "Touchless" is a lie. Not a misunderstanding, a L-I-E! The first thing they did was to scrub my car with wash mitts. The point of touchless is so you dont scratch the finish by grinding the surface dirt into it....which is exactly what they did. Then it goes on for the auto soap, high pressure wash and rinse. And to my horror the spinning drum wipes came on at the end, presumably to dry it? Another reason for touchless is for people like me that have after market parts on their cars. Specifically I have chrome window pillars. The were caught by the rollers and bent back slightly. I did not notice this until after I drove off the lot so of course they wont claim any responsibility. Next, I specifically requested they use my wax and was told "no problem boss". I use tinted wax so if there are any fine scratches it helps hide them. Of course they failed in this as well and used regular wax. On top of that they put white wax on some of the black plastic parts which everyone knows leaves them grey-for-life!!! "Touchless car wash" my ass! If you have to lie to get business you should not be in business.

They came and asked me if I had the keys to my car, and I told them that they were in the ignition. I walked over and pointed to them in the ignition. It turns out they locked my keys in the car. They were able to unlock my car relatively easily and get my keys. Mistakes happen, so Im actually not holding this against them. My problem, is if they fail to do a good job at the very basic level of getting my car clean. The photo you see isnt spots they missed, but rather the person who drive my car had dirty hands. Those type of dirt marks are all over my car. They wiped off fairly easily with my thumb or a rag, but I just paid to get my car cleaned. I dont expect much for a $15 Car Wash, but at a base level putting dirt back on the car after you cleaned it should not happen. My biggest problem, is that it took the same amount of time as if I had gone to the do-it-yourself wash bay, and my car would have been cleaner head I just done it myself. And, it would have cost me 5 to $7. Time money or quality. You have to win at least one of the three.
