Regardless of the wait time, Fernando and his crew take GREAT care of my four vehicles (2 of which are Show/Go cars, featured at SEMA, LA Auto Show and the Auto Show in NY, Jacob Javits Center). To really gauge this car wash location, one must keep in mind that the high end dealerships at Car Country Carlsbad, send their cars here to be washed. Enough said there! I make the drive or wait till Im in the area to get my wash & wax from these guys, and ONLY them! And.. Did I mention that Maribel in the detail center, can buff my black vehicles better than any male Ive EVER encountered! She has my 2 black cars looking like black water when shes done! Shes got mad skills! And last but not least, Alfonso always goes over my car prior to me taking delivery, even after his collages say that its ready (his attention to detail is impeccable). Wow service, indeed!

POOR SERVICE...I had my car washed and it rained the same day. They said no problem just come back after it stops raining. It rained some on and off the next few days so I called and the person that answered said come in once it stops raining. I let them know I couldnt make it the first day so they said come in the next day. Went the next day the manager said I should have come in on the other days it rained to get it re-washed; that is their policy; they were open. Cant say I understand that one. I have been going there for as long as I can remember (at least 10 years) even through all of their price increases and the car washes not being as good as they used too. Not anymore, it is now way too pricing for the wash you receive and absolutely no managerial customer service :( NOT WORTH IT!!!!

Went out of my way to have my car washed here due to positive reviews. Very very disappointed! Not only are they over priced but with all those hands on, the car was still dirty and I couldnt get any of the staff to come back and continue wiping off the grime. It had been two weeks since my last wash. Yes, I do get splattered with hummingbird poop that easily wiped off with a tissue when I got home. Also, my husband and I watched the higher end cars get much better service and were cleaned with purposefull detail. So much for my 2006 Toyota Matrix. Going back to San Marcos Hand Car Wash...full service, on Linda Vista...a longer wait because of demand and smaller sized establishment, not as expensive either. Bottom line: Thumbs Down...lie until they buy. Ahem....

PRICE GOUGING. -- STAY AWAY. I called and asked how much it would be to perform their service for "headlight restoration". I told them that my 2001 Honda Civic (huge amount of real estate on the plastic headlights) had years of grime and oxidization on it. He told me "$25 per pair of headlights". When I arrived, I saw the sign for "Headlight Restoration- $25 per pair of headlights". The diference is I do not drive a Honda but a V12 BMW 760li that is 3 years old and needs very little attention the headlights. They now quotaed me $125 for the pair and told me that the sign was wrong. They lie, the GOUGE, and they are not credible. I will be turning them in for this and alerting the local san diego news stations. This happened today, April 2nd, 2012.

Been coming here for years and they dont do as good of a job as they used to before changing ownership. Today was the final straw when they charged me extra for an over sized vehicle. I drive a compact SUV. When I complained the guy told me it was an SUV. For the past year, it was a compact and all of a sudden it is over sized??? Didnt get anywhere with him so talked to the owner and he gave me my $2 back but no apology. Obviously, it isnt about the money for that little, its the principle. How many other customers are they overcharging? They dont do as good of a job cleaning as they used to, they are under-handed and bad customer service.

Just finished driving 800 miles and needed a good car wash. Bugs all over my windshield and dirt on the car. The man at the start recommended that I get the $60 to get all the bugs out and a wax so I did. When I saw them call me over signalling they were finished, I noticed a lot of missed spots. Bug stains still on the windshield and just a half-assed job. Checked my trunk and it hadnt even been touched. I had to ask the lady wiping the car to get the spots I saw. They were pretty blatant spots. Its like I got a $10 quick wash from a gas station but paid $60 for it.

I had a pretty disappointing experience today. This place is usually hit and miss but mainly because of the volume they do. But today when I walked to my vehicle there was greasy water on my floor mat which I got them to help clean. When I opened the doors to my vehicle there was water on all the door seals. I took out my own beach towel to wipe down the doors, but no one would help me. There was no dressing on my tires. And I didnt even get the Cherry freshener that I asked for. I know that workers work hard but this was a really bad and unacceptable experience.

I Live here in Vista and had used this place once before and the service was terrible. I am a small business owner, so I understand everyone has that one incident that does not represent who you are, so I took my car there again. They did a worse job this time. Being very aware of the impact of reviews, I use them respectfully. The people who vacuum and wipe down your car do the worst job Ive ever had - twice. Sorry to say, absolutely go anywhere but Palomar Hand Wash in Carlsbad.

Quality of the car wash has definitely gone down over the years. They used to always do a fantastic job and I had no issue recommending them to everyone. Now I just look like a jerk because they spend the smallest amount of time possible on each section. Glass is streaky. Dash is still dirty. Mats still have bits of dirt in em. Save yourself some time and go to a different car wash. Only reason they got two stars was because the cashier was nice.

Best Car Wash Place Ive been to in Carlsbad wouldnt change to another one. The service there is amazing! Theres this one young lady I believe her name is Alessandra, shes really amazing at what she does. She took real care of my car and made it look like I bought it from a Car Dealer and her personality is so positive, shes always smiling and has such a nice vibe. I would absolutely recommend this place!

$50 for a premium interior/exterior package. Interior was alright; more detail could have been done with this price . The exterior still exhibited splotches of dirt and grime that could have easily been cleaned if they had paid attention. Its as if they only sent it through the machine wash, which is exactly what I was paying for to avoid. Definetly learned my lesson; Im doing the work myself for now on.
