I went into the store yesterday. Logon gave me a price and called to make sure my tires would be available at 8am today. I called back later and he said he could not get the tires. He offered me a brand called KUMO(?). I reluctantly said ok. I showed up at 8:15am and no tires. Jim the manager then tells me the tires are not warranteed for 65,000 miles like Logon told me and they will not be there until 9:30am. Then Jim tells me about a tire warrantee of $27 per tire for hazards. Logon never mentioned that and I felt like it was just one of those last minute sales ploys attempting to get a few more dollars from me that should have been explained and was omitted to keep their quote lower. Jim, the store manager, then told me to take my business somewhere else. I never raised my voice or argued, I just asked for clarification and Jim told me rudely that I should take my business elsewhere. I did. These other review must be from Wheel Works people and are definitely not representative of the actual situation in the San Mateo Store!

I find it ironic that when people dont understand something they want to blame the business for their failings. I have come to this store for a lot of work on my Ford F-250 and have found them to be reliable, honest, and very accommodating. I had one particular problem with my steering and they figured it out and got the parts I needed along with hunting them down as they were not easy to locate. They also told me not to change one of the steering dampeners as it was still good. They are not there just trying to sell you something you dont need. You do have choices as to what you want or dont want. IT IS YOUR DECISION. They have also fit me in on several occasions on a day when I have called in to get my oil changed. I would have to say that I will be back to have any work that I need done by them. This review is not from my daughter but, from her father. Keep up the good work! This review is from a customer and not an employee as some people may suggest.

Job well done!! great service iam very satisfied with the price and service Ted and Sonnie i talked to over the phone and they gave me the price that i want i am going to refer my friends to come to Wheelworks from now on.

Got my car in last minute before a trip, repairing two tires that had nails in them. Good communication, fast service, definitely would recommend.
