Prices are too high for what the company provides. Unfortunately in Santa Clarita, the options are limited. Lack of competition and alternatives forces customers to accept overcharging. I have dropped my telephone service and tv service and only kept internet. If their were a comparable alternative Id drop their internet service as well; again, lack of alternatives allows them to price gouge. Called Customer Service to try and negotiate a better deal/package. The CS rep told me, the good deals are for new customers only. Not a week goes by without my receiving a form letter in the mail offering me a "great deal" from Time Warner. I called again and spoke to a Sales Rep. By the time equipment, taxes, and a myriad of other charges are tacked on, the "deal" is just as expensive as buying directly from their internet site. The on-site service is also poor. They contract with other businesses to provide most of their installations. Had to call seven times and demand a Time Warner technician before the initial installation worked. The original installer failed to crimp one of the cable connections. After days of wasted time on the telephone, and time waiting for repair, once the problem was found, Time Warner did not offer any adjustment what-so-ever, not even an apology. In fact, because I held off paying the first bill due to the problem, they refused to give me the $200 gift card that was advertised. The said the small print states that an account must be in good standing to get the gift card; my account was not in good standing because my bill was paid late. According to TW, I should have paid them even though the service was not working and it was costing me time and headaches to deal with them regarding a problem caused by their contracted installer. Time Warner Cable has my vote for Worst Company.

Recently in January 2016 - ATT started messing with my internet and we now had data caps, drop issues, etc. Then I got jerked around on an internet only deal where I was paying $34.00 and now they wanted $79.00 for 24MPS. Apparently these were changes enabled by the new Net Neutrality Law that went into effect in January. Figures the government to screw it up again. Note I was with ATT for 18 years. Called Time Warner - they sent a technician that day. Determined that I needed new lines installed. Had construction come out to install new line the next day. Then had the technician out today and everything went very smooth. We now have double the speed and better service for less. Note every call I made was answered and handled immediately. If this is the new TWC, then I am very happy. Dean. R.

Garbage customer service that gets worse with every problem. Even more deplorable pricing plan where you can argue for lower rates or get screwed with higher rates. They adjust your bill and raise rates often for the same crappy service. They are never aware of where there own service technicians even are. Those monkeys will make certain and make any 10 min call into over an hour of useless wasting of your time creating problems that never existed before they arrived. This company should be sued for how they take advantage of their customers on a daily basis. One of the most corrupt companies I am forced to do business with ever.

Price went up $40 due to expired offers from Time Warner, when I called and asked to get me on a new offer/plan they said if I switch I would have to switch to a Spectrum plan which would cost more and give me less. They suggested me to stay on the plan/price I had. I switched to ATT U-verse, a better deal, much better interactive cable TV and modern guide AND includes free DVR and 4 TV hookups. All for $50 less per month than I was paying Spectrum. And the icing on the cake... I got $50 and $100 visa gift cards. YOU SUCK SPECTRUM!

Called the store asking if we needed to make an appointment to stop in the store and set up internet. Was on the phone nearly an hour while they tried to force every single service they offer down my throat. Handed the phone to my husband and they did the exact same thing. We ONLY wanted internet and expressed that to them over 20 times. Asked for our social security number over the phone which is against the law. Do not work with this branch of Time Warner. You will regret it.

Did not even bother screwing back the cover of the cable connections outside the frontyard, which happens to sit on MY property when they installed service on my neighbor. I wonder how crappy of a job they did on the inside. Called them for help and spoke to Paige who was not willing to do anything since I dont have an account with them. So what happens to the other homes when it rains or somebody decides to tamper with the cable connections? Im so glad Im with Direct TV...

Service is the worst I have ever seen. My DVR box has done out 3 times in the 3 yrs. Every time they want to do an upgrade to the box, without warning. I have to replace the box (they say it is too old to accept the upgrade). When I call to explain, All I get is "I understand" then they set you up with a service call 4 days later or you can come to the store to replace the box. Congratulations, Time Warner you have past USPO for the worst customer service ever!

Big corporate bag-o-crap with lousy customer service. Their ceo makes (made) $25 million a year, and we get an automated answering service. I came here to find the hours for my local office because my modem failed.... That data is not available, and the only info they do offer is the merry-go-round of enter your personal ID if you want any help, or the system will disconnect you. One star is too many.

I moved and was trying to get my address changed with them and mail forwarded.... In less than a month of missing a bill due to not having wifi access or the mail from them they sent me to collection agencies! Talk about a cold hearted move, and totally unprofessional and not caring of customer service.

Since becoming spectrum, weve had nothing but problems! Customer service has been terrible and while their packages have been "cheaper" they nickel and dime you to death everywhere else! Would love to change to something else! If you have any other options, it bound to be better than spectrum!

Charter office removed from California City, website and store locator direct you to Palmdale Spectrum store. They say cant pull it up in computer, cant take a payment. Worthless! Have to go to Victorville or Glendale. Im really tired of blaming the computer!

Constant disruption, noise, "check later unavailable notices and reboots of the box during tv watching. Never happened when it was Time Warner, but despite service intervention and ever since Spectrum took overt is a constant even on the network channels.
