This is, quite possibly, the most fantastic, well-run business to have ever existed. Now Im sure youve dealt with super slick corporations or tiny mom n pop grocers or something in between, but Im here to tell you that none of them can reach the heights of service accomplished by the team of Shannon and Jessica at ESS. Before laying out my cash to get some space, I searched high and wide throughout my neighborhood to determine price, location, flexibility, security, cleanliness, and whether or not I wanted to punch a hole in my head after getting on the phone with someone. My exhaustive research led me to ESS. This is not the cheapest facility in town, but its reasonable for what I get, which includes a convenient location, CIA-level security, a level of cleanliness that rivals surgical operating rooms, all run by people who seem not only interested in whether my storage needs are met, but down right obsessed with it. I imagine the management here laying awake at night dreaming up better and better ways to handle the site and its clients. "Packing supplies need to be organized. Must polish the cement floors to a higher luster. Customer Bob Johnson needs to know of further options for storing his Malibu Stacy collection..." If everything in the world were run this well, word would get out to the rest of the universe and wed be invaded by frustrated aliens who cant deal with the poor service of their home planets.

I never thought I could be excited about a storage space!! But I am! I think I was sold on the place before I even saw it, from the excellent customer service I received from Jessica. She was kind, helpful and genuinely interested in helping me meet my needs, and was a big factor in why I chose this facility to rent a storage unit. This location is updated, immaculate, and has very high security to make you feel very safe. Since I needed my unit for work, I had to visit a lot of storage facilities in the area to send my company a breakdown and price comparison before they signed off on it. Let me save you the trouble....you will not find a better storage facility than this location on Cloverfield! It is by far the nicest facility I have seen, and I visited A LOT. Plus, they accept deliveries which I was surprised to find out, that a lot of other storage companies do not. And I can not express enough that the staff at this location is top notch. I wouldnt even think to come to my unit without stopping into the office to say hello. Thats just the kind of atmosphere they create.

I am angry that my monthly rate increased during the 7 months I have been at Extra Space. I stored my possessions at a Public Storage facility for over two years, and my rate NEVER INCREASED. I think it is deplorable and exploitative. Its unfair to increase rates in this manner, because we all know what a hassle it is to switch units or facilities. The practice takes advantage of renters, because most people would likely rather accept the rate increase to avoid relocating. Shame on you Extra Space Storage! The initial rates werent great anyway. In fact, they are relatively HIGH compared to other West LA facilities, especially for what you get. I chose Extra Space solely based upon its location and convenient access to an available unit. After researching a few more places following the rate increase, I found several facilities that are cheaper and just as nice, if not superior (the Santa Monica location on Cloverfield is not even climate-controlled). Needless to say, Im taking my business elsewhere and will not consider Extra Space in the future.

Over the years, I have been blessed to use many different storage facilities both in New York City and Los Angeles. I can honestly say that this Extra Space Storage at 1707 Cloverfield Boulevard is a breath of fresh air! The team there including the Manager Jessica, understand customer service from all points of view including service (I was able to lease an emergency space after hours as Jessica waited on her own time to complete the signing and move-in), cleanliness (its simply the cleanest facility that I have visited let alone rented in) and functionality (when I took the first space there they sat with me for an hour to pick exactly the right space for the items, the right number as numerology is important and the best proximity to the loading door). I now live further away from this facility but I stay there as each time I drive in - I know the extra miles are well worth it! Thanks to Jessica and the team at Extra Space Storage Cloverfield Blvd. for offer a great storage experience that just keeps getting better! Love and Light!

I work for Catalyst Prep, and as one of the team members who regularly pays visits to Extra Space, I can vouch for their supreme service as well as say that I am glad that Catalyst Prep chose Extra Space Storage. The team members are very professional, very friendly. They always greet you with a smile and are always ready to lend a helping hand. They handle all transactions promptly and are always ready to help with any modifications that need to be made. Jessica and Shannon simply could not be more helpful or more professional. On top of the exemplary service provided by Jessica and Shannon, the facility itself is kept in tip-top shape by the ESS crew. The place is spotless, the bathroom is always in order, the carts are always in place. Theyre always playing good music, not too loud. The temperature is always just right, refreshing in the warm seasons, comfortable during the cold seasons. Ive been to a few other storage facilities, and Extra Space Storage is truly a cut above the rest.

Yes, I have successfully moved out of unit 578, in fact I completed my exit yesterday, around 1 pm. Im not very skilled with online media, so let me repeat here what I told the staff in person yesterday. Extra Space Storage on Cloverfield Blvd. in Santa Monica, CA surpassed my highest expectations. When you enter the facility, everything seems to sparkle -- the floors are shiny, the units look and smell fresh, the lighting and air conditioning are great (especially in the HOT summer of 2017), and above all, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Whenever I had a question, it was answered quickly, and often the staff person had an additional suggestion that made my work go faster and easier. The first person I met was Roy, then Jessica, who helped me every step of the way, then Terry during my final days of moving out. I will tell friends and family about the great experience I had at Extra Space Storage on Cloverfield. Thank you all.

Over the past two years, I could not be happier with the service, and the facilities at Extra Space Storage in Santa Monica. There is not a team member there that hasnt been outstanding, and the place is kept spotless, and that is a huge plus with me. Although I did not visit my unit very often, I did have to change units and add one and delete one a few times, and the Extra Space manager and team went out of their way to find the best solution and the best price. Really exceptional and I am very grateful for the experience. They even kept my keys for me for a while when I could not be there to pick them up. How wonderful to be writing this about a storage unit. Thank you and I highly recommend Jessica and her team and Extra Space Storage. SS jgd
