I visited Green Tech the other day with a strange squeak in my Ford, but no appointment. They fit me in immediately, and even drove my dog and me home so we could avoid the rain. It was a much harder, more complicated job than we all originally thought. The guys stuck to this very difficult job until it was done, did a great job on it, and my Ford runs like it is brand new -- even with almost 150,000 miles on it -- no kidding! Thank you Nathan and Ryan and Steven! I originally showed up at Green Tech with my other Ford, a 1964 Thunderbird, a couple of years ago, and they got it running well and reliably with a new gas tank and some other repairs. I remained a customer ever since. They are not afraid to take on complicated jobs, and they complete them with excellence. They care about their work, consistently communicate the details, and keep me well informed and out of doubt. They also have been very fair with the cost of their outstanding services. You will know when you meet them: they are here to do a great job and keep you satisfied; they will not give you the run around or rip you off (like you might get from a dealer, you know what I mean). Thats why I go there: good people, friendly and precise communication, great job, reasonable cost, no surprises. Check them out, yall!

got car? ... Then get thee to GreenTech! Driving in Santa Rosa yesterday, I made a wrong turn and discovered the RIGHT PLACE! My Honda van had been making odd braking noises even after it had been fixed ... and re-fixed ... AND re-fixed by a well-established tire and brake shop. After many attempts to fix it (and LOTS of labor and parts on them), they just gave up. NOT GreenTech! As I saw their convenient, clean shop after my wrong turn (with brakes still squeaking!), I thought to myself "I wonder if these guys can figure out whats wrong?" They sure DID find the problem, and FAST! They showed me where the previous work was defective, why and how the defect was causing the noisy problem, and suggested a couple of ways to fix it. I said, "Ok, lets do that one", they did, and PROBLEM TOTALLY FIXED! No noise then ... forward, backward, fast, slow ... the problem was GONE! You Da Man, GreenTech! Thanks! Mr. Bob - Windsor

Initially gave a 5 star review as they were helpful with quotes and information over the phone and gave me a loaner car. However, the day after their work, I was driving 55 MPH and noticed my hood was not secured. Immediately pulled over. The safety catch was secure (thank goodness) but hood wasnt shut properly. I called and told Nate who replied, "Good thing it didnt open up." Really? Nate also sold me a more expensive battery saying it had AAA road service for a year and other goodies. Didnt give me the paperwork when I picked up the car. Said theyd bring it by my office- not. Said it was on his desk to mail to me-not. I spent my lunch break to pick up this great deal which turned out to be a simple warrantee which reads if you are within 25 miles of installer, you have to return there. With a faulty/dead battery? Really? I now wonder if Nate has a year of free AAA on me. Definitely not going back!

I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with a father who owned a shop for most my life until he retired and closed the business several years ago. Since then I have struggled to find a good honest mechanic who I can trust to fix the problems and not offer services I may not need. That search ended when I met Nate. Not only is he a honest mechanic, he really knows his trade. He knows the ins and outs of all makes and models and keeps current with all the latest technologies of todays modern vechicles. Having been around the auto repair business most of my life, I have heard many stories of shady mechanics and I can tell you GreenTech is NOT one of those shops. They are hepful, friendly and honest and will help you keep your car on the road. Not to mention they run one of the cleanest shops around. Give Green Tech a try and you will become a valued customer as I have.

My wife and I were traveling from Laguna Beach to the Oregon Coast. The "brake replacement" light came on, and on top of that, when we stopped in Brookings OR. the car would not start. We had AAA jumpstart the car and we drove 12hrs non-stop to Santa Rosa as the nearest Range Rover dealer was in Portland, OR., and we were headed for San Francisco The guys at Green Tech could have easily sold me a new alternator, starter, new brakes and rotors and I would have paid @ $2000-3000 to keep on our road trip. Instead, it was just a bad brake sensor, and the battery needed to be replaced. 3 hours, and $350.00 later we were happily on our way. The Range Rover Dealer in Livermore who couldnt help me, wouldnt even suggest an independent shop, I will, these guys!!! Charlie was AWESOME!!!

My 1992 Ford E350 7.2 liter diesel engine was stinking. Smokey fumes were permeating the air inside and outside of the vehicle. Nathan went right to the source of the trouble. At first, he thought that it might have been a leaking fuel filter drain valve. Amazing that he knew about this as most gas engine mechanics dont seem to have a clue about diesel engines. It turned out tht the fuel filter drain was not leaking after-all. The fumes were caused by oil leaking from the rocker-arm cover and dripping onto the hot exhaust manifold. I received a professional and accurate estimate in advance and the work was completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Thank you Nathan and Green Tech Automotive! I highly recommend your intelligent and honest automotive service company.

All the reviews about how great these guys are, are all by either their friends or relatives. They are crooks. Especially Nate. I called them to get an estimate on the heater core change. Nate says they cannot give an estimate unless they diagnose the problem and they dont say that i will have to pay for diagnosis. So I go down to have them diagnose it. They say I have to pay $14.85. I thought anyway I came all the way. So at the end of the diagnosis, they tell me what I already knew. The heater core was damaged. And to make it worse it wasnt $14.85 but $114.85 for the diagnosis. They are crooks of the highest degree. And their quote for the work was like 30% more than others. If you wanna get ripped off then you can believe all the fake reviews here.

I highly recommend GreenTech Automotive to anyone. I am so impressed by their excellent customer service, automotive expertise, and professionalism. It is so nice knowing that I have somewhere to take my vehicle when there’s a problem. I appreciate how they go the extra mile. They helped me to get a rental car, fixed my stereo in the process of fixing my car, and graciously helped me on the phone when I was experiencing a car problem. It is so rare to experience such excellent customer service and workmanship like I did at GreenTech. You guys are so awesome that you actually make me look forward to my car breaking down again! A big thank you!
