I choose this shop based on the many glowing reviews. I was wrong. This shop might ok for simple repairs and maintenance, but for more complex problems, I think you should look elsewhere. I do not like it when people waste my time, and thats exactly what happenned here. I experienced long repair times(2 weeks), an ever changing diagnosis of the issue my car was having, and a lack of accountability on their part. They take no accountabilities for their actions whatsoever and will deflect any and all blame. Its always someones else fault as to why the diagnosis of the problem is incorrect, or why the car sat for 2 weeks in their shop. Expect excuses from them. If the car is in their possesion, they should be responsible for properly diagnosing the issue the *first time*. That is what a good auto repair shop does/is supposed to do. A thorough diagnostics was not performed on my car. It seems they use the "Trial and Error" methodology of diagnosing issues. In other words, if changing a part fixes the problem, great, if not, lets replace or fix something else and see if that fixes the problem. This is not good. It wastes the customers time and money. IMO, its better to do a thorough diagnosis on the issue, figure out what exactly is causing the problem, and then recommend a fix of any and all parts the *first* time around. Poor communication - I had to make most of the calls inquiring about my car. I would not have known what was going on with my car if I had not called them. Unsympathetic as well - my car was in their shop for 2 weeks. Dont they realize that most people cant afford to have a car out that long? People need their cars to go to work, pick up their kids, etc. They did not seem to care my car was in their shop for so long when I brought this up with them. Their priorities are sckewed. Maybe they were not familar with the make/model of my car. Every car has its quirks and idiosyncrasies. Maybe that is why I experienced bad service from them - they were not familar with the model of my car. But if this was the case, they should have admitted it to me instead of wasting my time and having my car sit there for 2 weeks. I have been driving since 1988, and have used many repair shops to take my cars to, This was the worse experience with a repair shop I ever encountered. They have only been in business since 2009, so(as of this writing), they are a rookie shop. Their "Treat you like family" motto is a facade. BTW, I took my car to another shop and they diagnosed the problem in *one day*. I could have saved time taking it to another shop. In sum, it was a mistake taking my car to this shop. I dont know where the other glowing reviews of this shop are coming from.

Family Auto Care is a great place to get your vehicle repaired. Sean and Nicole are great people who will do whatever it takes to ensure that you leave happy; and if youre not satisfied they will bend over backwards to ensure that they fix whatever they can. I had several vehicles fixed by them and although it may of taken a bit longer than one of the larger mechanic shops to get done, I knew that it was going to be done RIGHT...which was more important than patchwork fixes done by the dealerships in town.. Their prices are reasonable and on occasion they taught me how to fix the vehicle myself and saved me money. A good, honest mechanic shop is hard to find...but I found one with Sean and Nicole.

This pair did great and thorough work for an even lower than reasonable price. Their honesty and high work ethic were obvious in just the one job I asked of them. Having completed that job they still did a thorough check of the car and were able to give me extremely reasonable quotes on all the other work needed on the car (all of which I already knew was true!). I will be getting all of my car repair done at this location as they went way out of their way to give me a great customer experience at a fantastic price. They came in 70 dollars under quote and then turned around and saved me an extra 80. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

We needed to find somebody we could trust to repair my sons car out in Vacaville, California where hes stationed in the Air Force. So I went to Google and read the reviews and found Family Auto Care. The reviews were excellent so I had my son tow the car in for repair. In short they did a great job, they were honest and knowledgeable and quick and I know little bit about car repair. They took the time to talk to me and explain everything in detail. During our conversation I found that they were a Christian outfit and they acted like it. Thank you for doing a great job replacing the fuel pump in my sons car. David Warner

This was my first experience with Family Auto Care and I couldnt have been more satisfied. I needed electrical work on a 2005 vehicle and Sean found and solved the problem quickly and expeditiously. They actually bumped up the completion time to allow me to meet a commitment that arose after I had dropped off the van. Friendly "family" atmosphere, clean facilities and waiting area made for a great first time at Family Auto Care. I will certainly use them again.

Great place. Most people dred the Auto shop, but Family Auto Care took care of my problem and did everything to make sure I didnt pay more then I had to. Friendly staff. They also were very quick with the repairs. I have been looking for a new mechanic and I found one with Family Auto Care.

This shop is horrible to keep things short read what the botton user who also rated this a 1 star shop. They did the exact same thing to me. Dont waste your time. All other reviews are most likely them making them selfs look good.

Great Service. Very helpful staff. My first visit they checked my truck for the parts needed for the repair and then made an appointment to get the work done. Also have called to check if there are any other issues.
