After storing my stuff at a different storage facility for several years, I decided to move my stuff to Extra Space in order to cut down on fees. Initially, I was pleased with the rate I was given but like clockwork every 10 months or so, the rates go up. Now, Im paying nearly double what I started at. When I spoke with the management about this, they were dismissive and said if I wasnt happy with the price of my storage that I could pack up my stuff and go elsewhere. They clearly dont value their customers. Warning: the high rating of this place is the result of a $10 incentive by the company. Extra Space offers customers $10 if they provide a 5 star rating.

I arrived at Extra Space Storage and was greeted with professional, courteous, and a friendly staff. I was so impressed with how clean this site is, whereas other storage sites are dirty and have pest problems, Extra Space Storage has no pests issues at all! They made me feel like they care about their customers and their property. And on top of all of that, I received a much needed discount. I want to thank Everybody at Extra Space Storage for making my experience the best one I have ever had!!!! You guys Rock!!! I am recommending them to anyone and everyone I know, it doesnt get better than this!!

I have only good things to say about Extra Space and the West Sacramento facility especially. I have used other companies before in other states and this company far outshines any others in my experience. The facilities are new-looking and I often see people cleaning here. The staff is unfailingly professional and helpful. I am impressed by their use of technology for paperwork and security. I could do without the mandatory insurance but I think their rates overall are fair. I have recommended this company to others and will continue to use it and recommend it to others.

This is so easy! First, I signed up online, easy to do. Before I even stepped foot on the property, I knew which storage unit I had been assigned. When I arrived at the facility I was greeted very warmly by the manager. We toured the property, after which the policies and general conditions of the rental agreement were explained. Total time start to finish, less than 20 minutes! Many pluses, the facility is convenient, well maintained, and offers attractive pricing. I am SUPER impressed by the professional and courteous staff. 5 Stars and Two Thumbs UP!

The site is extremely clean and well-run. The registration process, managed by Gillian and Diane, was courteous, measured, efficient, and simple. The surroundings are pleasant and feel safe—theres a police station about a block away. Two details to be aware of: theres a mandatory insurance fee, and the rental rates may rise. If youre looking for storage, especially for a limited time, this is a reasonably priced, well-managed, and clean facility.

I came in this afternoon to have a look around. I loved the location, the cleanliness of the office and facility. I thought it would be rundown like some other storage places Ive seen. The lady Jillian was so nice and professional, made it a enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the location is just too far from my job and thats the only reason for not doing business with them today. I would recommend this location to my friends & family!

Our experience was lovely! Carissa was fantastic. She was by herself on a holiday when we came in and there was a wait, and she was extremely nice and apologetic. She then chatted with us when she took us to our unit and helped us figure out all the necessities. The hours are super convenient, and I love that they have off-sizes that fit exactly what I need. Love it!
