Well, we just moved to Denver after living in Northern Florida for the past year. Needed a spot to store some stuff while we looked for a place. This place had what we needed at the time & for the right price. So we showed up to unload our boxes for a month. The place is run by an older couple, they are from Tennessee. After interacting with them for about 10 minutes I was reminded why we had left the South, never to return! Lets just say that upon meeting the husband, among his offensive babble about how there are too many "girls kissing girls and boys kissing boys" in Boulder, he mentioned that he liked to "hang queers" in his free time. I dont know, maybe bc we were coming from the South he thought we would get his humor. I was seriously offended by this remark, and his wife was totally embarrassed. She quickly covered for him by saying "his bark is worse than his bite". He should seriously watch his mouth, especially in a super Liberal city like Denver. This man should be kept in a cage. A month later, moving out of the storage unit we ran out of room in our car and had to leave a few things behind. An old table and a round piece of glass for a table top. We really just wanted to get out of there. Minutes after leaving I received a phone call from the lady that runs the place. She basically told me off and stated that they have taken a picture of the crap we left behind and that we would not be getting out $30 deposit back. I asked her if I could come back later that day and put the items in the dumpster. She said "NO", that is not a public dumpster! I understand that we needed to do something about the items left behind, but there is no reason for her to be so rude. Not even my own mother yells at me like that! Get a grip lady...this is your job, how about a little customer service.

I put in a phone call and left a message about a 30$ refund check from over six months ago that I had never received. I was told to call back when the manager was in the following day. Within an hour, I received a phone call from Debbie, the manger, who immediately started tracking down my 30$ refund check. By the next day, my best friend had found the check hidden amongst a pile of junk mail (who keeps mail that long??) in his kitchen. He took the check to the bank and deposited it for me as I had moved out of state. Debbie called again to check on me and I informed her that it was an error on my part and the check was recently cashed. The point of this story is that Debbie took valuable time to inquire about my 30$ check which I had lost over six months ago. No businesses these days make sure people get their refunds! I was so impressed with their concern and efforts in ensuring my absolute satisfaction. While using their storage, I was greeted every day with a smile. The staff was energetic and friendly. Even when I moved out, acknowledging that I was in a bit of a time constraint, the delightful elderly young man in the golf cart driving around offered to sweep up my unit and clean out the trash at no extra charge. Though this unit is not 24 hours, its safe, clean, and conveniently located. Especially for a ski bum storing motorcycles (make sure to empty the tanks!!) :P Thanks for all the years of storage assistance.

By David Grigorian and Tammi Lou Campbell. In all my years since I have been a customer 7 plus years. Im totally proud to be able to give a quality rate and review. Tom and Debbie the resident managers at National Self Storage have always been very kind and considerate couple. When recently I needed to make changes in my storage situation. The changes were made rather quickly and I didnt have to second guess anything. Debbie always explains what she is charging me for in an awesome and well organized manner! Her and her husband have always been polite to me whenever I have had questions about anything. She always speaks loud and clear on all phone business transactions as well. I know that I am getting fully respected and taken care of as a customer at National Self Storage. And also I know that my things are secure and safe in a very well maintained and clean environment inside of the facility and all around. I love also her personal touches that she adds around as far as decorating the place for whatever time of year it is. I am so looking forward to the beautiful flower displays that are set up around the site! I highly recommend this storage facility and yes give a 5 star and if there were more stars that I could post I would. Thank you Tom and Debbie for all of your hard work and care that you both put into the business.

This place is aweful. The front desk lady Is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. When I called her to ask how my wife ends our lease with the storage unit and to give them updated information to mail me my deposit she proceeded to get a snobby tone and tell me even though there is nothing in my storage that since I didnt come in 10 days ahead of time to file a piece of paper... That the only way Im getting my deposit is if I pay for the month of September. I told her that my wife was in Iowa at that time and wouldnt have been able to make it even if we were here and she just hung up on me. So now Im going to make sure the owner of this establishment finds out everything that has happened. I promise none of my family or friends will ever go here

Extremely disappointed with the staff. The front desk lady "Debbie" is extremely rude. She does her job as if she is doing you a big time favor in life. She gets annoyed by each and every thing going on around. I got the tree bugs all in my storage. They co-operated me by spraying the anti bug spray and got rid of the bugs. That was the good part but when I had earlier asked the lady how come you never told me about the bugs she said "I cant help it. I cannot control the mother nature". I would not recommend it to anybody.

Owners are nice and accommodating. Had a good experience here all around. The owners would always go out of their way to say hi to my 4 year old and make an otherwise boring trip kind of fun for him. I appreciated that. My junk was stored safely and access was easy.

Do NOT store your things here. The business Manager is extremely rude. Her husband is on site and piddles around the facility he is NOT an employee. My things will be moved ASAP!!! I wouldnt give this a 1 star but had no choice if I wanted to publish my comments.

This place is very handy and well taken care of. Jamie and Aaron are very friendly and always eager to assist in any way they can. I have never experienced the friendliness yet professionalism at any other storage faciity!

The management here, specifically Janice and Jerome were wonderful to work with. We had come here after a negative experience with Public Storage and Ive never had better customer service. Can I add a sixth star?
