INCOMPETENT and UNPROFESSIONAL. I brought my car in because I had noticed a huge amount of oil on the ground and a light in the dashboard indicating that the oil level was low. After I arrived, I spoke with Mark who realized they had messed up my appointment (it was at 12 but they had me at 10). He mentioned they would check the vehicle immediately but we waited almost an hour before someone decided to take a look at the car. After around 10 minutes, Mark came back and mentioned he had wiped out the oil pan and that there were no issues at all with my car. He also said the oil pan was full and there was nothing to worry about. I reiterated that the car had been leaking (there was oil on the ground and the light was still on) but he repeated that the car was fine and probably the sensor was not working well, which is why the light had turned on. He even recommended I should keep driving the car. After I got home there was almost no oil according to the sensor. The following day I found more oil on the ground and the sensor indicated I had run out of oil. I took the car to a real mechanic who found the issue and solved the problem. Dear Mark, I was reluctant about writing your name because I am not in the habit of damaging people and I also know everybody makes mistakes. Then I thought that if I had taken your advice, that would have destroyed the engine and, as a mechanic, you should know that buying a new engine is not cheap. Oh I forgot, you do not care about your customers or their pockets! If you have no idea what’s going on, ask for advice or just say you have no idea instead of trying to ignore the problem and despensing useless advice. You guys lost a customer and his money. I also suggest the manager should do some research and read the very “nice” things customers say about this company.

Just wanted to give a special thanks to Rick, Mark, Bailey, Justin and the crew at this location! These guys are professional, trustworthy and do great work on the vehicles that their servicing. They do a wide variety of maintenance and repairs and If theres something they cant do theyll tell you. Ive had my 2001Tundra in there quite a few times and they take good care of it each and everytime i need something. Ive noticed they sometimes get busy and cant immediately jump on a project but theyll do the best they can with scheduling a time that works. As Ive hungout in the lobby area in the past waiting for my truck to get finished Ive come to notice these guys dont have an easy job. Mechanics in general dont have it easy because if things happen to a vehicle theyve serviced theyll get blamed for anything and everything when in reality things just naturally break down from the stress of daily driving. All in all, this is a great shop with a great crew! Rick runs this location very well and I have the upmost respect for all of them. Im pretty decent with wrenching and fixing things myself but if its something Im uncomfortable with, or have the lack of knowledge in Ill always take my vehicles there! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Ive taken my car to brakes plus 7 times in a span of 3 months Mark does very shady work they destroyed my car to the point that it doesnt run anymore this all because of incompetent work and poor misleading information i was given I had a really bad coolant leak to the point where it would make my car overheat I took it into brakes plus 3571 tower rd in aurora mark told me I needed a new radiator cause it was cracked so I bought one took it to have it installed and he then recanted said my radiator is was fine I needed a water pump so I took back the radiator for a water pump had them install it and it leaked worse then it did before I immediately called them and told them the issue had worsened and they said they would take a look at it I spent $650 for them to worsen the issue when I brought it back to them they told me they had no record of doing the work and treated me like a idiot just to say they werent gonna fix my car Mark does very poor work and doesnt care about the customer or the financial strain he presents with his very poor advice and even poorer customer service youve lost a customer as long as that man works there brakes plus

I called and made an 8:00 appointment to get my radiator replaced.I dropped it off Saturday morning and was told that it would be ready by that afternoon because it takes a little time to change them out. Typically a 5 hour job at other places. 15 minutes before they closed I called to see if it was ready. I was told they were putting the last hose on and to come on down. When I got there they told me it was still leaking and they would have to keep until Monday because it was Saturday afternoon close to closing time. Frustrating that it took 9 hours to figure out the hoses used were not the right size. It is now 4:00 Monday afternoon and they are still waiting on a hose to be brought over and installed. 17 hours and counting for the 5 hour job. If they started working on it at my appointment time Saturday morning then they could of seen the problem and I would have my vehicle now. Manager is really nice, however his crew needs a little motivation to get things done in a timely manner.

Feel like i gave my money away. Had to bring my truck back twice after the attempt at aligning my truck failed the first time and they said i needed to replace everything . So i bring back after i replace appropriate parts. Not all parts listed by brakes plus were bad and they align truck but it still pulled right so i call to bring back in but unfortunately not until 4 days can they get me in. And they x rotate my front tires saying it was tire pull and that everything is fine now. I drive it for about a week and its pulling again. I bring back and they fiddle some more said they maxed out my toe. To make it not go right. And say its good to go. So i drive to telluride for a week for a job And wore unevenly my new tires i just had put on by discount tire next door to brakes plus when i had the original alignment done and it still pulls right. Dont like that they try to have you replace more then is needed. Good thing i went to school for automotive.

Had my coolant replaced & oil change done here. They didnt put on a clamp correctly so when I left, I was leaking coolant all over. I had to take it back for them to fix it. Then it happened again so I had to go back once more. While I was there the first time they told me I needed brakes and that I was at 3/32. That was about 2 months ago. I recently had a friend show me how to do brakes myself. When we pulled off the tire, we found the brake pads were FINE! I had about 20,000 miles left on them. The one good thing I can say is the manager is super nice. He was really friendly and helpful, just had some bad mishaps. It is just disappointing that most people would hear they need new brakes and do it because they said so even if they didnt actually need them. If you can, do this yourself. Replacing my brakes only cost about $70 since I had the tools to do it.
