Cant say enough positive things about Aamco in Greeley, or the owner Mike who runs the place. Right from the get go Mike was straight forward and honest. I havent been to a mechanic, but twice in the last 10 years...because quite frankly I dont trust mechanics. But Ive had 4 back surgeries in the last 3 years and so I had to venture out for help. I called multiple people, but the moment Mike picked up the phone and we started to talk, I knew I could trust this guy...and I was right. They did everything they said they would and than some. Once I got the vehicle back to my house there was some miscommunication between the mechanic and the tow truck driver about the front end, I being a little freaked out over what the tow truck driver said, called Mike. Mike stayed after hours and called every single one of his employees, while I was on the other line, to find out what the hell the tow truck driver was talking about and if it was safe. It was safe, the truck was fine...in the end it was the power steering that needed to bleed itself out...completely normal. But Mike could have blown me off after getting paid...but he didnt. Mike was a stand up guy thru the whole process and if there would have been something wrong, I believe he wouldve taken care of it. I never thought Id say this, but I have found a mechanic I trust...completely with my vehicles. And if I cant get it done myself, Im calling Mike and his team to help me out. Bottom line this guy Mike is tryin to run a place where you can get your vehicle worked on and not get screwed in the process. Of course he wants to make money, its a business. But more than that...the guy wants to make sure...you get an honest deal, with the highest quality, thats why I will be back again. Thank you guys, and thank you Mike. -patrick

I called the shop, Aamco Transmissions, located in Greeley, CO to inquire about bringing my 1999 GMC Jimmy 4x4 in for an answer to why my truck would not shift into 3rd gear. The manager, Mike, told me that he was booked, but would do his best to give it a look for a reasonable fee and tell me what was wrong with it. "Deal" I thought! And was I surprised... I was sweating bullets because it is common knowledge how expensive transmission repair prices could be and on a Saturday, my only day off. Mike contacted me that following Monday with super news! The repair needed was minor and rather "INEXPENSIVE". Just goes to show you that before you think your vehicle is useless, pay the fee to have a qualified mechanic take a look! The repair was made in a timely fashion and he worked it out to be fiscally in time for the payday as planned in my very tight budget. Now, one might think that these guys did a poor girl a favor, but to the contrary, I did myself a favor by bringing this repair to the "RIGHT GUYS" AGAIN! I have been an extremely happy customer for this particular situation, and also for the last 20 years. Every time we walk in with one of our dieing vehicles, Mike and the Crew fix us up! Way to nail it again, gentlemen! Thanks so much for being there~ especially in short notice! Love this company and will always show the gratitude by coming back!

Everything that you could want in a quality mechanic. Trustworthy, intelligent, professional, and FAST! If you want someone who will put cheap Auto Zone parts on your vehicle then you may want to look for another shop. Although his estimate for parts + labor might be slightly more than others in town, you get what you pay for and I would rather spend a small amount more to have Peace of Mind that the best parts were used and installed by guys with years of experience. Mike is definitely a great communicator and only completes the work you approve. Will not leave you with a bill ONE DOLLAR more than what you agreed to. True Side Note: I unknowingly paid $100 more than my $1,250 bill (2 of the 100 dollar bills stuck together) and I got a call from Paul the very next morning telling me he had caught the error and set the money aside for me. The definition of a class act - I cant imagine how many other mechanics would have given themselves a bonus. If you care about things like honesty, quality parts, certified mechanics doing the labor in a clean and well-equipped shop, being treated like family and fast turn-around then you are wasting your time going anywhere else. Best shop for auto repairs in Greeley by far - Thanks Guys

Last April I was driving home from Colorado Springs and experienced that bad gut feeling. The transmission in my 2005 Yukon Denali started to slip coming up the big hill on C470. kept getting worse the closer I got to home. RPMs climbing but speed dropping. Finally made it home, no tow truck. Drove down to AAmco Monday morning and dropped off my Yukon. Mike and the guys at the shop took great care of me and my Yukon. Unfortunately it needed a total rebuild but Mike and the guys got it done in a timely manner and fair price. Get the Yukon back everything is great. This April.... transmission starts shifting funny. take it back to AAmco, its low on fluid, no burned fluid no leaks just low. Mike fills it up and schedules me to drop off the Yukon so they can check it out and see where the fluid is going. It ends up they find the fluid is passing by a seal between the transmission and the transfer case. Mike and the guys fix the problem, the Yukon is running great and shifting well again. If you need transmission work done, or any work done, I would highly recommend you take your vehicle in to AAmco. They stand behind there product and work. Many Thanks to Mike and the guys.

Mike and team were fantastic. Anna and I are two college kids who have had some rough experiences with cars this year. We discovered that the transmission in our Honda was shot, and were directed to AAMCO by a friend who highly recommended them. The guys were great. Mike and Paulie made it a point to literally show us the transmission stripped apart and explain in laymans terms (to a couple of kids who know nothing more than how to change a tire) why they needed to do the work they were planning on - part by part, system by system. It was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive ever had with a mechanic, and its nice to know that we still have honest people in the trade on the Front Range (so many horror stories out there). Paulie is also a Honda expert and was the man who rebuilt our transmission. So heres a shout out to you, for helping two kids who work crazy hours and study and dont have time to worry about their cars. Thanks, guys. Well be back (but hopefully not anytime in the near future). THANK YOU!!! (I must also mention that Honda of Greeleys fee to fix our problem was $4999.99. Mike and crew did it for $2700. Again, the poor college kids appreciate you!)

I brought my daughters 97 Sentra in for a shifting problem. The diagnostic process and all associated fees were explained thoroughly before I even brought the car in. I called in the afternoon and spoke to Mike, who explained that due to the weather, they had a late start on the drivability test and they needed to keep the car overnight to finish the diagnostics, which was no big deal. I called the next morning to see how it was going, and they responded "Its fixed". Having been scammed at other auto shops, my next logical thought was, "I didnt authorize any work, this is going to get ugly." I asked them what was done, and started to explain that I didnt authorize any work yet (expecting the next argument to be how much additional I owed them), and the person on the phone stopped me and said, "It was a cable adjustment. We adjusted it, and now your car shifts beautifully! No extra charge, just the diagnostic fee we discussed.". My jaw dropped. I realize that an honest shop shouldnt be this jarring, but Mike and his team have a customer for life. Honesty and good work go a very long way in my book.
