I took my truck to the shop to get them to help me remove my exhaust, to save me from banging knuckles on old bolts. Instead of unbolting it like Id asked, they cut it off without asking my permission. So when I went back, I was a bit taken back by the fact itd need to be welded back on instead of being able to bolt it on. They apologized and said theyd weld it back on for free and they should have called to ask before cutting it. When I picked it back up from the shop after theyd finished welding the exhaust back on, it had a check engine light and was making a squeak when moving and there was very noticeable vibration in the drive-train through the steering wheel. I called and brought it back, theyd missed a weld on a exhaust hanger and the tech I spoke with told me hed taken my drive-train apart to put the exhaust back on. Tried to drive it away and it was still making a lot of noise and vibrating heavily, and the check engine light was on. So they told me to bring it back and theyd do a free diagnostic. Then I was told it was my 02 sensor throwing the code and my u-joints were bad. Both of these items were things their mechanic messed with and broke, as there was no issue before I tried to get my exhaust worked on. They accepted zero responsibility for any of their gross negligence and the General Manager told me to make things better, after charging me in excess of $500 (to fix problems that never were until their mechanic team broke/"worked on") that what he could do was give me an 02 sensor at cost and install it. I wont ever let this shop touch my truck again, and I would recommend anyone steer clear of this shady operation if at all possible. On the upside, Pepe was a nice guy to deal with.

I have been an Airport Rd Auto customer for 10 years. About a year ago, I noticed prices increasing with customer service decreasing. I kept going because the same mechanic, Hugo, has worked on my car for the last 10 yrs, and does a great job. Yesterday, I began having issues with my car starting. I phoned to get a time to have them look at my car. Every other time this has happened, they usually say, come on in. This time, a female I had never worked with before told me that they were booked solid for the next 2 weeks and she could add me to the wait list, I would be number 26. I said, that I was having issues with my car not starting and that after 10 years as a customer they should be able to fit me in sooner please. I then mentioned that Hugo has been the only mechanic to work on my car in 10 yrs. That is when the woman made a rude comment: "Hugo quitting is the reason we are in this mess." If my long time mechanic quit, and then 10 years of customer loyalty is treated in this manner, there are other repair shops to go to. I would never recommend Airport Rd Auto because after 10 years, you matter even less than someone off the street. FYI, this was also the first year I did not buy my snow tires from them; their quote was 2X a quote from a Denver shop, and they would not negotiate. Find another mechanic!

I learned recently that this shop has returned ownership to the original owner, and the business is much more reputable. This was my experience. I came by and talked to Gary about an exhaust leak I could hear. I really needed someone with the right tools to tighten up some bolts and replace a missing nut. Gary got under my truck, tightened everything up including some new hardware. He told me not to worry about paying him, he was just glad that my dog and I werent breathing in exhaust fumes. I struggle with finding kind, honest mechanics, but I have to say Gary is a really good guy. Thanks again for your help.. the truck is running so much better and my gas mileage is back to normal. Much appreciated.

We drove from Denver to go skiing for the day when our car started smoking right outside of Breckenridge. We limped our way into this AutoRepair shop and were blown away by the service and professionalism of this company. They ran diagnostics on the car while we were skiing and stayed open an hour later to make sure we were able to get on the road ok. Unfortuantely, the fix was going to cost a few grand and they recommended we have the repairs done in Denver if we could. This was the most honest auto-repair company I have come across and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. I wish more companies followed Airport Road Auto Repairs customer approach!

THE WORST. Never have I experienced such a blatant disregard for customer service and good quality work. After 4 visits, $2,000 later my vehicle is still not functioning properly. It has been misdiagnosed, I have been charged before work was even completed, sent away with my check engine light on, the list goes on and on. When I voiced my disappointment in how my experience has been, and how I wont be returning the response was "thats chill, its right where you left it." Wow. How sad that in such a small community some businesses do not find it necessary to conduct honorable business practices and behavior. I suggest supporting any other auto shop in the county!

So came into Airport with my own parts for a brake job. Auto zone screwed up an gave me matching pads, both right sides. Anyway, rather than sending me all the way back to Autozone, mind u with their loner vehicle, they matched the autozone price of the pads rather than up charge me for their parts. They followed thru with wrk and everything was good. McKayla at front desk and Jeff the sales manager were more than accommodating!! I definitely recommend Airport Auto, they treated me right and the customer service was top notch!!

I took my car in for an oil leak repair. When they gave it back to me, the leak was worse and they said they would call me with a new quote. They never called back. They took a small problem and made into a big one. I then to my car to a legitimate shop in town and they had to take off all the epoxy airport auto threw on to try to cover up the issue. This added to the labor costs of fixing the issue. I will never go back to airport auto, theres a reason they have last minute availability.

So happy to have been referred to Airport Road Auto! From scheduling the appointment to communicating the diagnosis to the work performed, every employee was wonderful to deal with. They had my car fixed in under an hour and refused to charge me--without mentioning they repaired another issue on the car I never even told them about. *Outstanding* service and smart, knowledgeable employees. Thank you, you have most definitely earned my business in the future!

Was up there for vacation when my transmission crapped out on me. Guys told me they would work on it first thing in the morning and give me a call because I was supposed to be headed home later that day. Didnt hear anything from them until I called at lunch. Hadnt looked at it, and then quit answering or returning calls. Just a poorly run shop that over charges for everything. Dont know where you should go but anywhere else has to be better than this place.
