This is the worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have never had so many problems as I have with this location. Just as a previous poster stated in the last week, I too am having a postal delivery worker claim my box is full and returned my packages only to have to pay to have me ship again. They did not leave a notice that packages were even attempted for delivery, so i went down to the post office 4 days after my tracking showed delivered and they had already sent back. I was ordering several Christmas gifts so obviously they wouldnt all fit in my box being delivered in same week, but we have large boxes for package storage that they were not put in, and no notice was left. The workers are rude, condescending, and incompetent; especially over the phone. All except for one african american gentleman at the front counter who was outstanding and the best employee I have yet to encounter at this facility. I choose any other choice of shipping when given the option, and will not ship myself through USPS for this reason. They wonder why they are losing money every year, this facility is a prime example!

Ive gotten so sick of the shenanigans that Im skipping them altogether. I just got a UPS box instead and have my mail sent there. Yes, its costly, but worth it knowing Ill skip the headaches Ive been experiencing just trying to deal with this post office. Ive had a lot of the issues already mentioned, plus just having them flat-out lie or hanging up the phone in my face mid-question. I can honestly say that this post office (and one other, where the man who answered the phone was very rude despite my politeness and also hung up in my face) are basically the only places where Ive had such bad service in Colorado Springs. They just need to clear everyone out and start over. Update: So, because Amazon sends things however they will reach you fastest via Prime, I had two packages that were delivered to my post box (which I have no keys for, for the aforementioned reason). I called to ask them if the mailman can take them out and put them in my apartment office and the woman said that she would tell him. Why was that Monday I called but they still have not done so even though it is now Thursday?

This is the WORST post office Ive ever had to deal with. We have the laziest most horrific mail person possible. Since we have lived here the lazy good for nothing mailman has returned every package mailed to us back to the sender. They just mark undeliverable so the lazy jerk doesnt have to do any work. Tell me, how do you put a notice for one of our packages in our mail slot telling us they returned the package for unknown address if you knew which address to use to put the notice in? LAZY! Dont move into Broadmoor terrace apartments if you hope to get mail. I like it here. I HATE HATE HATE our good for nothing mail service! Im so happy that I home school my kids and they cant get their school books delivered because of the pos post office. And yesterday they sent back my sons birthday present undeliverable! I stay at home all day. They have never not once delivered one single thing! I never write complaints or bad reviews but this place is destroying my childrens lively hoods because they are sorry lazy worthless jerks at their jobs and should be fired.

Every experience with this place is dispicable. I even watched a man try to send up a complaint the clerk gave him the form and told him it was useless to even try because it would not do anything. They held my mail for days and did not tell us someone tried to break in to the apartment box. I went to go pick it up and they said i didnt have any. Keep in mind at this point it had been 5 days since they stopped delivery and i had some important documents expedited to me. I called the places that had sent me stuff and they said made it to the post office... It took me going in there them telling me i had nothing again and then i yelled at them and told them i wasnt leaving until they find it. 5 min later they came out with a huge stack of mail. Not my only 2 terrible experiences. there are plenty more with this place. how it even has two stars average is amazing. everyone should be fired and start new. that sounds bad until you have to deal with them.

Where do I begin? I have no problem sending care packages over seas at any other post office but for some reason when I send here they take 6 weeks to arrive and are full of mold? Worst part is I cant even file a claim because you need proof of purchase... Because you know ... I totally keep these receipts from 2 months ago... Also... I did a change of address so I would get my mail at my new address. I paid the $1 for a family change and I also had to go into the office and put my name on the box and receive keys. I havent been receiving ANY of my mail for the past few weeks. My in laws sent me a letter and it said "undeliverable". I called and they said that they didnt pass on information about it to the carrier who was out on vacation when I filed. Terrible customer service , if you can avoid this place I would. I really wish I could contact their higher ups and report the whole facility to them.

This place is a joke! It may look nice from the outside. But service there is horrible! And its the people that work back of the post office not the front. I have been here 4, I repeat FOUR times just to get my key for the mailbox!! And they stil HAVE NOT GIVEN ME MY KEY! I come in on Wednesday and they tell me it will be ready by Friday that same week. So I come in and its still not ready okay thats fine. So I come back Monday. And they tell me they havent made my key yet!!! But to come back at 2:30 that same day, and it will be ready. I came an hour later! 3:30 and THE KEY IS STILL NOT READY!?!? ARE YOU SERIOUS? So I ask to speak to a manager and I am given the phone number because "they manager isnt here right now" The number goes start to a busy dial tone and hangs up! No manager and nobody answering the phone? Never ever come here again if I dont have too. Horrible. And frustrated

This post office consistently loses mail. I recently was to receive a certified letter on Saturday, the carrier left a pink slip in the box, but never came to the door. On the slip it said I could pick up after 9:30 am on Monday. I go and stand in line for half an hour and they cant find the letter. I go again on Tuesday and they still cant find it. They tell me to call in half an hour. I go home and cant get through on the phone for hours. I finally do and the carrier lied to the post office and said hed been there and gone (at about noon) Which was a lie, I sat and waited watching. I leave for the store at 5 and come back and the mail was delivered, but not my certified letter. The fact they tell you lies, and dont call back when they say is unacceptable. Losing a certified letter even more so. It is Wednesday now and I cant get through on the phone.
