The only reason I gave this place 2 starts was because it was cheaper than UPS,who wanted $350.00 dollar to send a package to Sweden. The KIDS that worked at this location has very poor social skills and customer service. The young man, who scowled the entire time, asked me to fill out a claims paper stating what I was sending and its worth. He told me to move, rudely, and fill it out at the next station by him so he could help the next customer. I told him I did not understand a few things and he ignored me. When he stopped talking to the customer to staple some papers ,or something along those line, I asked him what a certain line meant and what was needed and he barked at me to "Just wait. I am helping this person." I said that I was sorry that he could not multitask but he needed to deal with me as I told him when he asked me to move over that I was not sure how to fill it out properly. He gave me a very dirty look and rolled his eyes obnoxiously. A young woman came to the station next to his that I was filling my paper out at and I ask her to help me. She has NO clue what she was doing. She also mumbled so badly that neither I nor my friend who was with me could understand half of what she said. I asked if I could write a check and she told me the machine may or may not work but we could try(or I think that is what she said) I used a credit card instead. I had forgotten to take a picture of the package so my friend in Sweden would know what to look for and started to take a picture of the package sitting on the scales. She started to FREAK OUT and say, "do NOT get me in the picture. No, I dont want my picture taken." It was obvious that the camera was no where close to getting her in the frame! It was so absurd that my friend and the customer in line behind us started laughing. She was unclear on when it would get there and again, no one could understand her. I cant stand it when folks speak what I call "Mumble fu**" ! It is so frustrating. On top of all that, I called today because my keys are missing and I was calling all the places I had been the day I went to this post office. I called about 30 minutes ago and asked if this was the post office that was by Sams Club and Blue Bonnet Restaurant? They said they were not sure so I asked if it was the one that looked like a mini court house with the white columns in the front, etc and they said they didnt know what the front of the building looked like because they had always gone in the back! I s*** you not that was their retort! At the point I just said thanks and hung up. It was so surreal! This is one of the worst post offices I have ever been to and I have lived in many states and many countries, too. I swear I thought I was being set up for a prank! This place needs to be revamped and the people screened for signs of life Unbelievable!

This is THE WORST post office I have ever encountered! If I could rate in the negative I would! My first ever eBay purchase was a $100 pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that I never received. The p.o gave me the run around then finally I was told to call an 800 # but in the end, neither eBay or this post office was able to refund my money (even though the package was supposedly "insured")... Another time, I ordered a $50 phone case (not through eBay) & Watched the "Product & tracking info" religiously online! As soon as I saw that it was marked "delivered at or in mailbox", I checked my doorstep to find my neighbors package at my door... NOT my package! I walked over to the address on that package to find MY package laying on that WRONG doorstep... Went to complain to the p.o with zero success. Well, guess what... It just happened again! This will be my 3rd package that was marked "delivered at or in mailbox" with NO PACKAGE ever being delivered to me! I wasnt lucky enough to catch the mailman delivering it to the wrong address this time. Who knows where THIS package ended up? I guess I am at a loss for money again. I am so incredibly frustrated and fed up with this worthless post office and all of the illiterate carriers that obviously dont know how to read an address. P.S- I have received mail for neighbors (even mail that is adressed with a DIFFERENT STREET name) on more than 1 occasion. Some employees need to be fired. #extremelydissatisfied #gettingrobbedofmoney #nobodyistakingresponsibility #couldbemytaxreturnchecknext #untrustworthy #nointegrity #plainlousy #customerisalwaysWRONG ☹️

Our mail carrier service is the worst - but only when our REGULAR carrier is working! We are in a very small building with 2 doors and 2 businesses - the doors are literally 10 steps away from each other. Our regular carrier REFUSES to bring us our mail in Unit B and delivers ALL mail to Unit A - which if they are not here that day, we do not get our mail. EVERY SINGLE SUBSTITUTE CARRIER SPLITS OUR MAIL FOR US with the exception of our regular carrier. He is rude and arrogant. He will attempt to deliver packages to a business (we are always closed on Saturdays) and then does NOT always bring them back on Monday! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Horrible service!

I have never had a bad experience at the post office location itself. I have had to wait in line at times when it is busy but that is to be expected. The staff have always been friendly and courteous. There are times that they could use more help and that is why I did not give them five stars. I dont know if my letter carrier is based out of this location. I see that this retail/office location has received bad reviews due to peoples frustration with their home deliveries. I dont know if they are related. There used to be a large postal facility off Logan and about 1-25 and that is where most of the mail in Washington Park seemed to originate.

There are 19 customer Parking spots labeled 15 minutes or less. Routinely 8-10 of them are filled with employee vehicles throughout the day. I have to often wait 10+ minutes for a parking spot. The red Silverado, purple motor cycle, blue f150, black ram, gold Subaru, and others are ALWAYS in the customer lot. Today was close to 15 minute wait for a parking spot and there were only 2 people in line at the window and 2 others at the PO box section. How did the 5 of us take up all 19 parking spots?? Would a towing company please come enforce the parking signs?

Nothing is postmarked-- just got a bill dated on the 1st, apparently mailed around the 12th, received on the 15, and DUE ON THE 21ST. Cant mail a check until Monday and if it gets there late and they charge a late fee and there is no postmark date, unless I physically waste an hour to go to the po, wait in line for a window clerk, and drive back through traffic. I know these big companies are trying to force everybody into automatic bill payment but this is borderline fraud. I though the Post Office was required to postmark first class mail!
