Avoid this place if you can. NEVER go in around 4-5:30. Line going out the door and only 2 employees working. I get it, USPS is struggling, they had to make some cutbacks. The problem is one of the ladies always working there. First off she looks like a cartoon witch. No joke. If she had a giant pointy black hat, no one would miss a beat. Second , she acts like a cartoon witch. She is the rudest person Ive ever run into. Keep in mind she is almost always nice to me as Im a young male (this seems to be the only type she isnt immediately hostile to). Rude remarks, constant bad attitude, and interrupts everyone. She had her phone set to an alarm at 5:30 meaning she gets to close the doors so no more customers can come in. Understandably people would still be coming into the postal office, see the line of people wrapping around inside and open the door to join our hellish adventure to have her scream (and I mean SCREAM) "WERE CLOSED!" One person apologized and she responded "I DONT CARE. WERE CLOSED. READ THE SIGN!". It was unbelievable. I come in probably once a week for work and she is always there and always pulling the same crap.

I walked in to obtain passports today. On their website it is advertised Monday - Friday from 10am-3pm. After getting there, there is a computer printed sign stating No passports today. It would be nice if they 1: answer their phone.. attempted to call for a good hour only getting a busy tone 2: did what was advertised as a service at the Post Office. You cant place a typed up computer note on crumpled paper and tape it to the door stating No Passports today and advertise you can get a passport there. Went to another Post office on Fountain, which was even a worse experience. No wonders the Postal Service is going Bankrupt. I personally didnt have interactions with the Postal employees here, but my experience with the employees at the Fountain location speaks enough in itself with their lack of professionalism and in my eyes must be a standard for the USPS in Co springs as I have been to a few different locations and not one has been a good experience.

All the mail boxes on El Canto Dr were wide open on Christmas Eve morning of 2016. Dont bother filing a complaint as I just tried to do so to no avail. Some guy finally answered the phone and said "hello" so I proceeded to plead my case about filing a case for their records then he asks who is this? I give him my name and let him know Im a postal customer in the area in which he says "ok". He proceeds to mumble some garble that I could not understand and at that point I knew it was a worthless attempt and hung up. Fortunately we check our mail daily and as early as we are able to but let this serve as a warning to those in the area their boxes may have been depleted illegally. If you were expecting new credit cards, checks or money with Christmas cards and should have gotten it by now assume they are long gone and do what you need to protect your identity and or those who may have sent checks, etc.

I ordered wedding invitation supplies to be delivered with plenty of time for us to assemble and mail out invitations to our guests. This parcel, however, was supposedly delivered 1 week ago yet I still havent seen a trace of it. Ive called (three times) and asked USPS to check on it; they said another residence at my apartment complex mustve received the key for my parcel, but that theyd check into it. They took my number and said theyd call back. They havent called back and I still do not have my wedding invitation supplies. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I called again today and was hung-up on...maybe it was an accident...regardless, it supports my case that they are poorly managed, unprofessional, incompetent, and sloppy. The only positive and helpful thing about my experience with this place, was Mike. He actually answered the phone and helped.

(I gave them too many stars) My mother had sent me a package April 5. April 28th I still had not received it. She did find the tracking number and it came up as delivered to one of the lockers at Union Heights. Went to the T Gap station and a "Supervisor" told me the carrier would have it in my box that night. Joke of course. I called 2 days later and a rep told me theres no way they could promise that to me. The mailman put the locker key in the wrong mailbox. Couldnt they just admit their mistake? now its turned into a whole lie. I guessed I shouldnt be surprised. You would of thought the moron who got the key in their mailbox would of returned the package. No integrity in this world anymore. I weep for the future with the pot induced society. UPS and FED EX from now on. Im sure Im preaching to the choir. Maybe the government should take another vacation.

These people actually helped me when I told them my mail box keys were STOLEN. I dont lose anything and my keys were stolen after I was a victim of a crime. Well I talked to my apartments to get them to change the lock and they didnt! Probably still didnt. So I went to get my mail on hold first thing Monday morning. Had to go again because the First Lady I spoke to, who was probably new, didnt put the hold in place. Not holding it against her but good thing I went up there. An older woman helped get my mail on hold and get me a p.o. Box so I wouldnt have to worry about my apartments not caring that my mail keys were stolen. Way to care about your residents. This post office is five star! Thank you for helping in a timely manner!!

Once again, an abysmal failure at customer service. See my review of the Briargate post office just last week...which met the same fate as this, but worse. I took my entire family there during the normal ours to get our passports renewed. Of course, a long line, one person working at the counter. She announced announced that she was the only one there helping people and she had no idea when anyone else was coming up to help her. Therefore, it could be an indefinite wait to get a passport application verified. And of course, this was during the stated "Passport Hours" plaque on their wall. She would not tell us an ETA, anything. And these people wonder why their business model is a complete failure?

The people who work at this post office have no customer service skills, at all. Ive contacted corporate and BBB about this Templeton location, the workers are extremely rude and act as if its a hang out, not a business. Their clerk Liz is incompetent and can not handle any type of customer service related issues, I believe shes in the wrong line of work. Also, their supervisors are hardly that, I think they need more thorough training, theyre clearly unqualified. They threatened to call the sheriff because I told them how rude and unprofessional they are, I laughed and said Ill wait. Kiosk will take over soon and we thankfully wont have to deal with ignorant people.

I am one of those who had their ballot and an important package of car parts I needed badly last weekend being marked as undeliverable...while other mail like bills and circulars had no issues. Have been on the phone with Ebay/PayPal/USPS all afternoon. The USPS call center said that the parts went to the wrong sorting station and were sent as undeliverable because it was outside of their territory of delivery. Now...Im having to wait to get my refund...my vehicle is barely driveable and I dont have the refund to purchase the parts from a vendor who will use another delivery service other than USPS. If I could give no stars...I would!
