AVOID THESE CROOKS LIKE THE PLAGUE! I dont get on the internet to bash people. But Ive finally had enough, and Im going to warn everyone I can to give Excel a wide berth if youre in need of a roof. I had them replace my roof three years ago. They were eager to get my money, but sent out a subcontractor out who made a mess of the job - I should know, Im a general contractor myself. Shouldve done the damn job myself; wouldve except I was recovering from surgery. Ive been plagued with leaks ever since the rattly old junker truck pulled off my lot, and am even now typing this to the drip of water from the ceiling into a bucket - a fresh leak. Great, what a way to start another winter... And Ive given up on calling them - theyre unbelievably rude. Ill give them this much: One guy finally did come out to caulk a leaking skylight - a Velux that was not installed properly in the first place; but caulking is not a solution for an improperly flashed anything! If youre looking for a roofer - RUN, dont walk, from these crooks!

Excel roofing is a crap fly by night company. Dont waste your time with these people. Look for better roofing companies. I took a day off from work to stay home and meet clay condon for an estimate for roof replacement. Clay condon showed up for the appointment, said he didnt want to walk on my roof, and gave me some marketing brochures and was to follow up with a quote. This was a roof replacement for about $35,000. Clay condon wasted my time by never giving me a quote for my roof. When I called a week later he said he was too busy at Lake Powell and then said he would send quote when he got back. Clay condon never sent a quote after he got back. I called and said if Excel was interested in my business to please get back to me. He never called back. Ive talked to many people in the heritage west neighborhood and nobody has had anything good to say about excel roofing and my experience with clay condon.

I just wanted to follow up on the work Excel Roofing had done at our home recently. As you know the entire roof was replaced due to hail damage, with certain upgrades included like ridge vents and soffit vents. The roofing work was done professionally and with a high quality and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. Also, we had additional attic insulation installed taking our home 22 year old from R-19 to R-49. We were unsure how much of a difference it would make. I can tell you that our home is very comfortable with a more even temperature throughout. Our furnace also goes on for shorter durations to heat the home (in December) so we anticipate our heating bill to decrease. I appreciate the quality of work your team did and the customer service friendly attitude displayed throughout the process. Special thanks to Donald Manee for his diligence and follow through on the project.

Our experience from start to finish with Excel was excellent! This was all due to our project manager, Paul Donaghey! He was very easy to work with; very professional, helpful and knowledgable. Communication with Paul was constant and easy, which was greatly appreciated! Our home, as dozens of others, was involved in a large hail storm last Fall. We had extensive roof, gutter and window damage. Getting a reputable company who could do all the work in a timely manner, do a quality job and work with our insurance company was critical to us. This is exactly what we got and more! Paul took care of everything for us, including dealing with our insurance company and advocating for us every step of the way! Excel Roofing hires some wonderful and hard-working people. The project managers get the freedom to select and run their own crews. The PMs know pretty much everything there is about roofing and home exteriors. Plus, there isnt an insurance company they havent worked with. The admin staff is engaged with their customers. They dont miss a detail! All the estimates and jobs are handled with care and phone calls are returned promptly. Excel Roofing is a great company to work for. They take care of us and give us the trust and power to handle our customers with courtesy and professionalism. We believe that happy and empowered employees will mean happy and satisfied customers.

A couple years ago Id seen that Tom Martino endorsed Excel Roofing so I hired them to replace my mothers roof in Denver. The work was excellent and the employees were a pleasure to work with. This year, 2017, I had a roof leak at my Aurora home. Project Manager Kevin came out and was very helpful. He educated me on roofing and structure facts, and explained the entire process to me. And he was very patient with my numerous questions. The work was done on time and they worked with my insurance company very efficiently. Theres really to need to call any other roofing company because Excel Roofing will take great care of you start to finish !

My roof is over 20 years old & there has been a lot of wind in my area. I call Excel for an estimate and the project manager came out to take a look. After walking, poking, and prodding my roof he came down with a puzzled look. He told me that there is about 5 more years left on this roof and that there is no reason to put a new one on. He told me he is in the business of selling roofs but in my case he couldnt justify it. A truly honest and upstanding company. Thank you for the peace of mind.

Great experience. Scott, project manager, came out 2nd time to meet with insurance adjusters, insuring that we recd amount needed to have roof replaced because of hail damage. In this day and age its refreshing to work with a professional group of people.

I appreciated the fact that Excel Roofing didnt do the hard sell and they delivered on what they promised. After my Denver home was hit by hail I had an estimate within just a few days and the roofers had my new roof done when they said it would be done.

Work could have been better. Damaged house. Did not honor their warranty when new roof immediately leaked. Would not return phone calls. Would not even acknowledge. So Im having to buy and go up on the roof to caulk as storm hits. Not cool.
