Don’t go to this lactation, as a matter of a fact dont go to any 24hr fitness in if you have any respect towards yourself or your fitness. And I’ll tell you why. (FYI I am a super sport member not for long thou) 1. The corporate office does not promote good customer service, they leave you to resolve your own issues WHEN they arrive because believe me they will. (They will tell you to WAIT 3 to 7! business days for a general manager to respond to your concerns) 2. The staff treat you as if you are a second class citizen( and its very to me to the fact that no one works there longer than 6 moths, it seems). And the ring leader (main manager LORI Last undisclosed) is the most distasteful. 3. The main reason why I have been compelled to write this review is due the realization of what 24hr fitness duper sport in highlands ranch is. it is a stereo typical environment where the staff (main manager LORI)judges you and makes offensive comments about and to you when she feels like behaving in that manner. for example also a fact yesterday 02/14/17 Lori(the main manager of the location approached in front of my guest (first timer at the gym (lifetime fitness member) and said in a very abrasive way CAN I TALK TO YOU, too 3 steps away from me and proceeded to accuse of bringing to many guests (5 people, male and females. they are coworkers and friends of mine). then also stated that perhaps I go on too many dates I REAPEAT she looked in the windows of my should (dead in the eyes ) and said that perhaps I go on too many dates, and I should stop bringing guest to the gym and training them (she accused me of being a personal trainer, without any bases) I thought it was a joke till she threaten me with paper work ( L.O.L ). thats when I picked up the phone and dialed corporate(what a major let down) and waited 50 mins. on the phone in order to get some information and file a complaint but the call was dropped as I was going to speak with a manager( how convenient, they close at 6 pacific time ). so called back this morning got my issue escalated to upper management. who proceeded to first tell me to go to a different gym further from my house and try it out( perhaps thats how they been instructed to give out those solutions). thats when I lost my bearing for a bit and proceeded to use logic with this customer service person. I asked her if that the way 24hrs fitness treats their customers (with little value/ significance). I asked that her best solution was to make the paying customer go to a different location because a manager for no rhyme or reason decided single me out front of strangers, then proceed to imply that I am a womanizer, then accuse me of being a trainer and treatment to cancel my membership if a tried bring any more Legitimate guests in. I asked her is that how you treat all of your customers that hold your highest membership? (Dam I feel bad for the memberships below!). She was quiet for 20 seconds and then proceeded to tell that she would escalate this to the regional manage (person below corporate!) and see how they can deal with this issue. 4. Long story short just dont waste your time and money with these people they are terrible. This is just one of many complaints against 24hr fitness CO and country wide

Overcrowded! You get a small window of time during the afternoon when, if youre really lucky, you can get on the equipment you want and when you want. The equipment is even crowded - each piece practically touching the other! While youre workout out, other members come within inches. Its very distracting and annoying. They also dont have an area for advanced lifts like DLs, clean and jerks, etc., so members do these dangerous lifts right in the narrow walk lanes between machines! The overcrowding could have been helped if they doubled up on popular equipment. They only have 1 smith machine, 1 squat rack, 1 leg press, 1 pec deck...I could go on and on. Yet they have 5 different stations to do obscure things like preacher curls! Other gyms offer 2 or more of the popular pieces and it makes all the difference. Good luck getting on the good stuff at 24hr. With all the overcrowding of people and equipment, it wasnt smart to give up thousands of square feet to a full sized basketball court. Its usually empty! The few people that use it are either just screwing around or doing non-basketball type things. Its not like theres a basketball academy or league play there. Ask 10,000 members if theyd give it up for more space/equipment and theyll all say yes. Ive also never worked out in a more dismal and hostel environment. The people at all other gyms Ive worked out in always greeted each other with a nod, smile or 2-3 seconds of chit chat in the locker room or on the floor. Im a serious lifter, so its not like I want to talk it up for an hour but wow, that doesnt mean everyone has to act like massive a-holes. Even after months of going 3-4 times a week, I get the same "f-u" attitude from other members. Even the staff is unfriendly. They make it clear that if you arent paying them for one-on-one training, youre just in their way. They either look away when you walk by or give you attitude. Dont think about asking one of them a question, because theyll use it to push their private training services. I asked a trainer once about their hours and he went into a sales pitch about his trainer services. I politely declined and now he turns his head when I walk by. The trainers are all very cocky and dont seem real useful in general. Theyre usually huddled together having little giggle sessions or looking bored at their computers. Usually, the staff at a gym is very friendly and helpful. I mean cmon, pick up a broom or give people spots on lifts or something!

A few really good staff members, but two of them left for greener pastures. The staff wasnt shy in saying their leadership (the gym manager) treated them poorly, wasnt around a lot and didnt care to fix equipment. After putting in numerous written requests to get equipment and drinking fountains fixed, never heard anything back from manager. Called corporate and put in complaint, they said manager would call in X amount of days...never happened. After about a month the manager called and lied to me saying the email from corporate was sent to wrong person. So I called corporate back and asked where/who complaint was sent. I was told it was the gym that I had told them and that the email goes to all staff, so the manager must have lied. Who knows what actually goes on...24 Hour Fitness is a mess. Corporate told me Id hear from a district manager in 7-10 days, Im still waiting for that call ... 6+ months and counting. If you can navigate broken equipment, holes in the floor around benches, treadmill belts slipping WHILE you run (injury waiting to happen) or turning off while you run, equipment breaking while you workout, drinking fountains not working or leaking onto the floor, then this is the gym for you! With how poorly this place is maintained, I couldnt fathom using any of their pools or saunas. Gross. I cant tell you how many times the same stuff has been broken in upstairs cardio area. A few have NEVER been attended to in the year I worked out there. Other ones would work for a week or few days and break, get multiple repairs after multiple repairs. Again, some friendly staff, the high usage of equipment is always going to be a pain, but overall this is not an ideal place. But its still quite a bit nicer than a lot of their other locations. But for a Super Sport...
