This is warning for ALL public storage customers that are thinking of useing this company. This facility is actually a great place and has been a great experience for me since 2011. But this is the bad part, Public Storage bought out the location and is now a corporate company. The problem with that is that the company could care less about you. When this location was bought the Public Storage rules were now inefect. So you might ask what does that mean to me? In short if you are renting a storage unit for short term less than 12 months, then nothing. But if you want to rent a unit long term THIS IS NOT the company to rent from.. My rent started with PSC was 225.00 for a 10x20 unit. Each year the rent has been increased by 25.00 to 45.00 depending ok how greedy they feel. Now my rent has been increased to 360.00 for this same unit. So here is the ridiculous part. If I am a new customer I can rent the exact same unit 10x20 a few doors away from my unit for 225.00. I talked three different times to corporate headquarters to get my rent reduced or to ask that it not be raised. All three responses where the same, sorry but we cant reduce your rate and we have to raise you rent every 12 months, this is our protacal. I called Julie that manages the units and she was quite surprised that corporate was raising my rent to 360.00 when any Joe off the street could rent the same unit for 225.00, She said she would try and talk to the owner at this location but 3 days later after I talked with her the owner never called or let Julie know if they would at least keep my rent at the current price of 295.00. Long story short I found a storage unit special 10x20 for 170.00 and their policies (East Evans Storage) are the rent will NEVER be more than the current ask price for any Joe that comes off the street unlike PSC. If you want a short term place that is over priced because of its location this is a good place. If you want a long term rental unit UNDERSTAND public storage will raise your rent every 12 months by 30.00 to 45.00, even if the unit can be rented by any Joe for half the price. My choice was to either pay them 360.00 a month for a 10x20, 4320.00 for the year (the same unit rents for 225 to everyone else) or just move out and rent from any other company at 170.00 a month 2040.00. HALF THE PRICE. Public Storage is NOT your friend for long term rentals and zero communication interaction with the owners. Seems like they are making too much money ripping off the long term renters.

New to Public Storage. Had a very positive experience working with Julie upon signing the lease for a 10x10 temperature controlled unit. We received a great rate & she was very helpful in getting all the paperwork done as well as showing the unit. There were no surprises on her end. Though Julie has been great, I did run into a disgruntled female customer who had very negative things to say about this location. Ive run into her twice in 2 weeks. The second time, I found her in the freight elevator while my stuff was still being unloaded. I informed her that the stuff was mine & she replied that she didnt care and was not going to wait for me. I had only been using the elevator for 10minutes. None of this is a negative reflection on Julie or the location. Julie was notified & she kindly assured me she would address the issue as it is inappropriate to be harassed by other tenants while on the property. Very professional. Highly recommended.

I have two Masters degrees in management and this is the worst Management Team that I have ever experienced in my life...first both the Store Managers provided the minimum assistance in the rental process...but one of the Store Managers continually insulted me throughout the rental process...subsequently I never received a return call from the District Manager...never received a call from the Regional Manager...never received a return call from the Divisional Manager...but I finally received a call from the Regional Manager after contacting the Divisional Manager...in the end the Regional Manager confirmed I was a customer in "good standing" with multiple rentals over the past ten-years...but I never even received an apology for multiple insults from the Store Manager...so I will never attempt to rent from this location ever again!!!

We used Public Storage for a period of about three weeks all-told. We had to close out some corporate storage and move it somewhere in order to dispose of a portion of our goods, as our overseas transfer had become permanent. So we chose Public Storage because of the price and the Lone Tree property because of its location. The staff could not have been more helpful. Any questions I had, Tanya, Julie and Austin had all the answers... and I did have a lot of questions, in a short period of time. When we do move back from overseas, if we ever need storage of any sort (and believe me, there are all sizes and types available), well definitely be using these guys! What a great team! Thanks, you guys! I highly recommend them. B-)

I wish I could give this company as a whole zero stars. They have no flexibility in payment dates and even with notice you have to pay a full month if you arent out by the 6th. They do not have a clue what my personal situation is and refuse to waive late fees but once every 12 months. There are better people to do business with, especially when you just need something temporary. We took this because of location, availability and convenience, wish I could take every penny back. Oh! And my rate increase was $10 and I was far from notified. Do not use public storage if you are on a budget or need any flexibility. Their rates and company structure are nothing more than a greedy scam.

OMG....I just stopped by Public Storage in Lone Tree panicking about my daughter move & Julie helped me pick out a great storage location, size, & tips on moving into it, knowing I was worried about my daughter being young and not knowing how to fill the storage unit properly. Julie talked me through everything I didnt know that I didnt know lol. As a business owner myself, I would love to have a staff of Julies, because she has made my experience turn from panicking to an amazing so glad I rented from Public Storage experience! Thank you Julie, Thank You Public Storage Lone Tree.

Julie, Courtney and Sydney have been so helpful to us in finding the best type of storage to meet our needs. They are well informed, and have been professional and friendly. They were quick to take us on a tour of the storage facility when we asked to see the various types of storage units and worked with us to find the best location within the facility to meet our unpacking and packing needs. We feel like we are in good hands and are working with a team we can trust. We will continue to come to this location to meet our storage needs in the future.

Awful beyond words. This company has no compassion for those having a family emergency, and cannot and will not work to help their existing, good paying customer, dealing with a difficult situation. They will hide behind their fine print, not honor their online quotes, take your money, and give you a box to put your stuff in. They force you to buy their lock and their insurance even though their site clearly states you can supply your own. Go ANYWHERE else to store your stuff.
