Ive been coming to this Firestone for the last five years. I have had a couple bad experiences, but overall their customer service is excellent. People need to understand that this is a business and the people behind the counter are going to recommend you get work done, and 95% of the time your car really does need the work. Getting your car fixed is usually expensive and happens at the worst times, but that is not the fault of the people who work here, and most people do not keep up with the maintenance on their cars until it breaks down and has 20 different issues. I have gotten to know all the people who have worked here over the years, Big John, Little John, Brian, Jesse, and a lot of familiar faces. They have always remembered me and will work with you if you just ask. Their tires are excellent if you are willing to pay for the higher end tires. I always buy the lifetime alignment when I get a new car and I take my truck and my wifes car there and get an oil change, rotation, and alignment every 5,000 miles for around $50 for my wifes car and 10,000 miles amd $65 for my truck. You cant beat that! I use their credit card to buy tires and pay it off over the next 6 months with no interest. Yes, they can be expensive, but I have never had a major problem with any car I have owned since going here because the majority of the time I get done what they recommend, and my cars are always well maintained. I have peace of mind knowing that my wife and kids are safe because they are riding on excellent tires and brakes that are always checked and replaced as needed, along with a variety of simple things like air filters, wiper blades, and batteries. They even fixed an electrical problem on my wifes mini that two other shops could not figure out. I have such a good relationship with these guys and I asked them to keep me informed of upcoming maintenance so that I can plan ahead and no get slammed with a huge bill I didnt expect and they did. I know all the things my cars are going to need for the next 10,000 miles and roughly how much it will cost so there are no surprises. I walk in, hand them the keys, and they call me when its done. I dont know of many other businesses that make a process like this more simple. Thank you Firestone of Brookfield!

Ive been coming to Firestone for a few years now for oil changes, tires, and alignments. Luckily, I have a trusted mechanic in Newtown Car Care that I bring my vehicle to for major repairs, because I just dont trust these chain type places for things like that- for good reason. Up until recently, I have been happy with Firestones service. I think they might have changed hands recently, but the last time I was there for an oil change, they brought me back to show me all the "problems" with my car. Apparently my struts were shot and my front tires were about to blow. It was a safety hazard and they insisted on changing my front tires then an there. I allowed them to do that, but stopped them from going forward with the other repairs that were estimated to cost nearly $2,000. Brought my car to Newtown Car Care today and they called back saying there is NOTHING wrong with my car! The vehicle doesnt even need a tune up, and they charged me nothing. It is sad to see that a company would be so sneaky and try and trick someone like that. I am so grateful for the honesty of the people at Newtown Car Care, and will never be returning to Firestone for any service.

So I come to this Firestone and its 4 PM on a Sunday. Online it clearly states this location closes at 5 PM. All I was trying to get done is a oil change, nothing major. I get there and the gentleman at the register tells me they are done doing oil changes for the night. Now I know working in customer service, youre doing everything possible to leave not a minute past 5 PM. However, its unacceptable to accept new business a whole hour before closing time. This is just bad customer service. As a manager, you should make sure you always have a bay open for new service and something as easy as oil changes. But because the manager cant manage time, an oil change cannot be accepted and the customer must be turned away. Thats bad business.

My SUV broke down while traveling cross country and I was barely able to make it to this shop. The staff was awesome and very diligent in diagnosing a very complex problem. They went out of their way to be accommodating. They were persistent in finding the true root cause of the problem and went out of their way to not bill me for things that werent part of the real issue. Overall, I couldnt have been more thrilled. If I didnt live 11 hours away I would use this place exclusively in the future!!!! Awesome repair at a very reasonable cost. Staff was informed, pleasant, and worked hard to make things go as well as they could in the midst of a very difficult situation for me!!!

Pure Lying Thieves. Went for $21 Oil Change, was told I needed $2100 of work. Had all that work done somewhere else over last 6 months for my 100,000 mile maintenance (kept my receipts). Crossed off their "suggested $2100 repair list" one by one in front of them, was left with a $90 timing belt change plus the original oil change. Other Local Car Repair Shop workers know these people are lying thieves who will rip you off. Its a federal offense to steal more than $1000 from someone. Another time I went for a service, was told the price, gave them their coupon, and then they instantly raised the price by about 85% of the coupons value. Unscrupulous Con-Men.

I cant say enough good things about this place, My girlfriend and I bring all 3 of our vehicles here and every time we get great service. The staff there are personable, like to joke around with us, and let us know everything our cars need every time. We bring the guys there goodies all the time to show them how appreciative we are. Our favorite Mechanic there is Jay. We ask for him personally because of the fantastic work he does. As long as Jay works there, we will be lifelong Firestone customers.

Ive heard of numerous reports of these guys trying to upcharge service for no reason, or charging way too much - especially with women. My girlfriend recently went there for an oil change and they said her tires were "almost bald" and needed immediate replacement. I know cars and I took a look at them and they are nowhere near the wear bars. Still have at least 60% life left. Its a brand new Civic with only 20,000 miles on it. Really guys? Complete crooks. AVOID!

I spent over $2300 on complete brake job and new tires. After 2500 miles and 4 months, the car was shaking violently every time I applied the brakes. I had someone look at it and they said Firestone should not have used these parts on my car. I had replaced and took the old parts in, they didnt care and kept saying that under the warranty, they would fix it. They dont get that their parts are the problem in the first place. $1100 down the drain. Avoid this place!!!!
