I used to go regularly, but I do not like that they always bring up other things they want to "fix" other than just an oil change. The final blow was when they strongly pushed that I get something done that I had just took care of recently at the car dealership. Valvoline puts on a good "show" and brings out a dirty air filter and tells you it is your filter. Well, maybe it was my air filter; maybe it wasnt. Either way, perhaps all air filters look like that - dirty! I have read that some oil change places take out fake items and claim they are yours. I do not know whether Valvoline does this but I was extremely put off by them pushing me to get something done that I knew I had already got done. Either the dealership lied or Valvoline lied. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Havent been back since.

Friendly staff and honest. People who give negative reviews dont know anything about cars and arent INFORMED. You should know everything about your own vehicle b4 blindly accepting advice from a stranger whose JOB it is to provide as much of a service as possible while still being reasonable. If you dont want something done, politely request it not be done...its your car after all. You should know when the last time you replaced your air filter. A simple Web search will tell you that every 30000 miles is recommended. Be an educated consumer and stop complaining when they do a good, quick and thurough, job.

Today I was a first time customer using Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 242 East Main Street, Mt. Kisco, NY 10549. The technician there has poured too much engine oil, way above the max. level on the dipstick into my car. After the oil change, I drove my car on the road, a big black smock came out the muffler of my car. The car engine almost stopped running. The drivers in the cars behind my car signaled me to stop driving. I will not use the oil change service offered by Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 242 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549 again.

I had such a great experience. It was very fast, and I was taken care of right away. The waiting area was nice and very clean, coffee and cookies were a nice touch. I read some comments by People who complain about other services and upgrades being offered probably dont care about their cars. This is my second car and I actually want this one to last (so maybe I actually will do them on time). I appreciate being told how my car would benefit from the upgraded oil, and Im willing to pay a few extra bucks.

I have been to a lot of different Valvolines.. Normally good experiences. But I have to say, this one is the best! Friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I never have an issue and they are always on point with expected wait times . Highly recommend! I work in customer service, so I can say with 100% conviction, they know what they are doing and the manager is a major asset.

Pleasant and helpful staff, fast service--refilled my windshield-wiper fluids at no charge when I stopped by for oil change and the filter they needed was on backorder (it came in a few days later, as expected). Weve been clients of this location for years and have always been happy with their work.
