Last Sunday, I went to the Southbury location to get my car washed and paid for one of the more expensive washes. After finishing, I was told that as a promotion, I could come back in three days to receive a free car wash. My wife, who had also gone to the same car wash that day, had been promised the same deal. Some time on Monday, she called to confirm that the three days from Sunday would be on Wednesday, and she was told yes. On Wednesday, she returned for her free car wash and received it with no issue. After picking up my son from school, I too went to the same car wash for my free wash. I was greeted by the same employee who I met on Sunday with a cheerful, "Good to see you again!" and immediately felt great. He said that he knew which wash we got, and would send the truck through with the same type of wash with the promotional offer. I needed change inside while I was waiting, so I went to buy my son a Coke at the cashier, who tried to charge me a ridiculous sum of money for the drink AND the car wash. I explained to her that it had been three days and I was getting my free wash, and she said she remembered me coming in, and that something must be wrong with the computer. I waited patiently for her to go get the manager. When he returned, he argued that to get the free wash, I wouldve had to come on Tuesday. Sunday to Tuesday is not three days. I even told him that my wife had come earlier that same Wednesday and gotten her free wash, to which he had no explanation. Furious, I told the manager I wasnt paying for this car wash because of the false advertisement on their promotion, and asked the cashier to remove my email and information from their computer. He apologized, and I left, hearing him scold the employee who had greeted me although he had done nothing wrong. Thats the chain of command, I suppose. I had the employees that were cleaning off the car remove the tab that the car wash company had put in place in my door jamb. Upon coming home, I saw my wifes car had soap stains all over it, and the tires looked horrible. I will never return to this business again on account of ridiculously high prices, and the terrible experience I had.

I will NEVER return. If I could give these idiots 0 stars, I would. Stay far away from this awful place. I brought my car here one morning for it to be detailed and get an oil change. I asked when my car could be done by, I told them it was very important that I have my car back by 5 at the latest, they said it would definitely be done by 4. 4 comes around, I dont hear back. I call them at 4:15, its not done yet. I call them at 4:45, still not done. I call at 5, STILL NOT DONE. They come to pick me up at about 5:15 and bring me back to the car wash, my car is STILL not done until 5:45. Dont make promises you cant keep!! Now at this point, Im late, and livid. They send me on my way and... I get to my sons daycare, and his car seat is not in the car!!! I had put it in the trunk so they could clean the seats, I have no idea why they took it out of the trunk, because they didnt even clean my trunk!! Not even a quick vacuum. What gives?!? I call them back, they appologize, and say they will give my a coupon for a free detailing. I go back to pick up the car seat, and they give me 2 coupons for their most basic wash. Really? Again, dont make promises you cant keep! Now I take a look at my car, it looks terrible. Worst detail ever. They missed a whole interior door panel, missed a window, missed a section of dash, and left wax on parts of my car, didnt do the door jambs, and as previously stated, didnt even vacuum my trunk. Seriously, what were you jerks doing all day? You had my car for extra time... Ive had express detailing done fot much cheaper elsewhere that was better than this garbage you called a full detail. Now, it doesnt end here... Then on cold mornings, my car started having trouble starting. I thought maybe it was my battery, nope. Then I noticed my sticker from the oil change, those IDIOTS put a thicker oil in my car, and what happens when you do that? Yep. Trouble starting in the cold. So, I go to change out the oil with the correct weight, and we find that those IDIOTS stripped my oil plug. Never again. Never ever again. Stay away from these fools if you want to keep your car nice.

After a year, I decided to give this place another chance. Theyre way overpriced for the quality of their work (or lack thereof). This time, I was smart and said I would pay AFTER my car was fully clean. Thats the only reason I left with a clean car. The woman who came out when she heard I was going to wait to pay basically redid what the other workers had "cleaned." I had paid a few extra dollars for the full service including wheel bright. It didnt even look like the wheels were touched. She said, "Oh, thats rust." I knew I didnt have any rust on my car and asked her to try to clean it. It was just surface dirt that came off with a towel. I told her it should have been cleaned the first time. She said, "Theyre only human." ...As if I shouldnt expect my car to be cleaned right the first time when Im paying $25. Another women I was talking to while I was there said she would never get another oil change there because they stole so many things from her car...including her lipstick! They will also try to talk you into detailing your car. Dont do it! They dont even know how to do a regular wash. I cant imagine what a their detail would look like.

I told the employee when I drove up that I wanted everything cleaned. Inside dash and doors, wash outside, tires and the carpets cleaned. She wanted to provide the best deal for what I wanted that would include those things and told me if I chose this certain wash and the carpet clean I would get that. I waited for over an hour and was sick to my stomach when my car was finished. They did a half ass job of vacuuming but did clean the carpets. There are still crumbs and debree in all the crevices. Nothing else was cleaned on the inside. My filthy mats were just laid on the backseat. The outside wash is a joke. There is still dirt on the car and tires. My 10 year old would do a better job. I am an extremely busy person and do not have an hour to waste for a job not done. I will NEVER revisit any splash car wash again and wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy.

Went there to get my car washed on my hour lunch break from work - my office is literally 7minutes away from here. I asked the gentleman who took care of me if i had plenty of time to be out of there before 1o clock he assured me that I would be, I only asked for a vaccum of the carpets and an exterior wash. 30minutes went by and my car didnt even go through the washing area, i approached the girl at the desk who was very kind and helpful. She told me that the gentleman who took care of me charged me for a full detail, since when does just vaccum the inside and wash the outside translate to a full detail? it was a slimly skeevy trick by this guy, and if it wasnt for the helpfulness of the girl at the desk i would be writing a way worse review. I will not be going to this splash car wash again.
