Im pretty surprised people are complaining about the customer service. Ive only had great experiences with them. Both on a daily basis or whenever there has been a problem with my account. I email them typically and get a response within a day without exception. But about the gym: its a great value. For $10 a month (plus $40 a year in fees) you get a top-notch gym. Granted I dont normally go during peak hours, but Ive never had to wait for a cardio machine and only rarely had to wait to lift. Also, its great that there are all kinds of people at the gym. Older people and students. Heavy people working on losing weight are exercising alongside super fit people. There are not too many meatheads, which is nice. Especially in the free weight area. Everyone behaves well and is respectful of other peoples workouts. The amenities are nice too. The cardio machines are great and plentiful. Not to mention that they have TVs on every machine. I DO wish they had wi-fi, but for $10 a month I can watch cable while Im working out. The locker rooms are nice too. The showers are a bit cramped, but they do have individual shower stalls so there is privacy if you choose to shower. Overall I couldnt ask for more. Especially for $10 a month. Super friendly and helpful staff and clean clean clean clean. Im a big fan, which means I actually use the gym on a regular basis. They keep me coming!

I hate that there is no customer service. They do not provide a phone number and after emailing them for over 6 weeks I received an answer that was poorly written and didnt resolve my issue. Even for the money, and I pay $20/month for the priviledge of using different locations, the facilities are below standard. The new spin room in Vernon does not have the instructors bike up on a plaltform, so if you are in the third row or back good luck in seeing him or her. Which is a shame as they do not give the instructor a mic so it is impossible for me, with very mild hearing loss, to hear anything they say. With the competition most gyms have lowered their prices and if I didnt live so far from Court House Id rejoin there. There is just no comparison. Its bad when Im not just annoyed, but actually angry at a business! It is so unnecessary as the improvements would cost sooo little. They could probably get an adequate mic system at Radio Shack.

I joined this gym back in the winter sometime. I had a (no contract) membership which they explained to me that I could quit at anytime with no penalty to me. I decided to quit not because the gym was bad, or the equipment was bad, I simply found a gym close to me. So I had to go down and quit. I was told that I had to pay an extra month which again was never explained to me. So the girl was nice enough to waive the fee. But now getting emails and phone calls that I owe this money. Every time I explain my view they just totally ignore what I say. Telling me they are going to put it into collections. The customer service is terrible, the manager at the gym when I tried to talk to her was rude. I have read many reviews about this club and have come upon the same situations. I would stay away and dont sign anything, they make it impossible to quit!! Cindy

Absolutely terrible experience with the customer service aspect. I signed up in July, which is when I was told about annual membership fees and was told I would get a reminder a month before they would be coming out to ensure the money would be there. There was no reminder email and this company kept harassing me with voicemail and phone calls only about the fact my payment was past due, meanwhile I had sent three or four email messages that they had not responded to a week or more after the email was sent with questions and concerns and feedback about how I would be willing to make a payment and other details. The gym itself was alright, sometimes over crowded but the companys billing and customer service care is disgustingly poor. I work in a billing office and in retail and I would never treat my customers and clients so poorly. Very disappointing.

When I had signed up, I was 17. They told me that my friend (19) could sign the papers for me and at the time I was impatient and said okay. Since then theyve never reminded me of payments so this third party company (Twin Oaks, by the way) keeps harassing me and telling me I owe money. Another thing I made very clear when I signed up was that I would only pay for up to the month of July since I am leaving for college in the first few weeks of August and will not be paying for something I cant use. Well, August is here and they charged me! I will be going to the location today with my contract and telling them that I will not pay for this and they need to refund me.

If you like to fight this gym is for you. I have been a member for 11 months and go occasionally . There is a young crowd who use the free weights and create confrontations with other members . I had a guy twice as young as me want to fight me. I reported to reps at front desk ( 2 girls in there 20s one said she was the manager ) they did nothing except laugh when i brought it to there attention. This has become the gym planet fitness makes fun of in there commercials . Im afraid to go back . I tried to file complaint , they do not give out phone numbers to management, why not ? Another gym right up the road future fitness, they will get my business now.

I joined and shortly after I was injured in the army. I showed up right arfter surgery and they wouldnt let me cancel my membership. They needed documentation that I can not provide however I had the still open wounds and military Id and paperwork. This place can be compared to Comcast. Poor customer service. They never stop charging you money. If you sign up here you will regret it.

Going down hill fast staff turnover in the a.m. really rude and not helpfull. The billing department (third party vendors dont know what there doing) at least they rid themselves of the trainers that would LOL at others working out, pretty distasteful, even when there note in shape themselves, pretty funny....

Have been a member here since 2011 and have had zero problems with this gym. I find the earlier you go to workout the less of a crowd there is which makes it easier to use the equipment. Staff is always friendly as well as the people I have met there.

I love that I can do two of my favorite things all in one building: work out and shop. Whoever thought of this was a GENIUS!! WINNING!!
